Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher hilariously recalled the moment he accidentally called the police for real, during a tense showdown for his character Andy Sugden.
Andy was having it out with brother Robert Sugden, after he finally learned that he had played a part in his wife Katie’s death.
Robert protested his innocence, but Andy was sure he was right and decided to confront him.
In tense and emotional scenes, viewers may recall the brothers had it out with each other before Andy called the police.
But what they might not know is that Kelvin accidentally called the police for real, before quickly hanging up.

Kelvin recalled during a special episode about Emmerdale slip-ups on Wednesday: “I remember this scene, a big moment this.
“I was absolutely in the moment. I was distraught, I was angry that he’s played a hand in my wife’s death.”
As the scene unfolded, Andy was seen dialing a number on his phone as Robert begged him not to.

Andy was heard saying: “Police,” as Robert claimed he had got it all wrong, before the scene took a turn.
Suddenly, Kelvin broke out of character with a look of complete shock on his face, before pulling the phone away from his ear.
With tears still in his eyes from the dramatic scene, he said “sorry, sorry” to his confused co-star Ryan Hawley and the crew filming.

He then told them: “I just rang the police… you didn’t tell me there was a sim card in it.”
Ryan was seen bursting into hysterics as the crew were heard laughing in the background.
Back to present day, Kelvin was laughing it off as were some of his co-stars.
