CORONATION STREET SPOILERS: Kit ‘Rumbles Costello’s secret’ as mystery caller ‘SEALED’

There’s a discovery next week it seems on Coronation Street, as Kit Green’s rather cryptic phone call leads him on a quest. But he’s not the only one intrigued, as colleague Lisa Swain soon finds out something he’s unearthed and wants answers.
According to a new clip, Kit is speaking to someone named Mike who he has asked to look into something for him. He calls him a “lifesaver” and whatever he has to say leads to him making a quick exit, after a chat with Lisa first, to crack on with whatever he is up to.
It comes as spoilers teased their boss DI Costello could be up to something, as he warns Lisa away from Kit and puts him on desk duty. So it seems he wants the pair kept apart and is trying to stop both of them from digging into some old files linked to Lisa’s late wife Becky Swain, who d¡ed in the line of duty years earlier.

Lisa Swain soon finds out something he’s unearthed and wants answers
Amid countless theories about what Kit is up to and whether Costello is corrupt, it seems next week could provide the biggest clues yet. The video preview sees Kit on the phone, and writing down something on a post-it note.
He’s thrilled by whatever he has just been told, telling the mystery Mike: “You’re a life saver, nice one mate. I owe you one.” He then declines to tell Lisa what it was all about, and instead is keen for her to stop being annoyed at him.
It was her discovery that he’d been looking into the files that made her confront him, and they’ve not really spoken since. Costello had stopped Kit going any further with his searches, and then a complaint this week sees him left on desk duty.
But we also find out that Kit is suspicious over Costello stopping him from digging, and he’s kept up his investigation without telling anyone. So the phone call will no doubt spark new theories and could lead to a bombshell, given what it is that we see written down on the note.

A Coronation Street spoiler video for next week’s episodes reveals Kit Green appears to make a discovery linked to DI Costello
Kit takes off with said note, but leaves behind the post-it note stack so Lisa springs into action. Grabbing a pencil, she scribbles across the dents left behind from Kit’s writing. But what she finds is both confusing and intriguing.
Spelled out on the note, written by Kit after the message in the phone call, is the name Costello with a phone number. Now the chances of this being Costello’s phone number is probably slim, as why would Kit need it, let alone call up a favour to get it?
So surely it means it’s someone else’s phone number, and it’s somehow linked to Costello. Either way Lisa is left determined to get to the bottom of it, watching out where Kit has just left and clearly wondering what he’s up to.
