Scottie Pippen (Image Credit: PBD Podcast on YouTube)
Former NBA player Scottie Pippen had a remarkable 17-season career in the NBA, most of which he spent with the Chicago Bulls. He achieved several milestones during his professional journey, including 7 NBA All-Star selections and being the NBA’s steals leader in 1995. However, his most significant accomplishment is winning 6 NBA championships, which sets him apart from other elite players.
Pippen recently appeared on the PBD Podcast, where he discussed various topics related to the NBA. During the discussion, Patrick Bet-David asked Pippen if he believes that Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James surpasses his peers regarding team impact.
Pippen responded, “My success as a team is more succesful than LeBron’s, I got 6 rings.”
Bet-David questioned, “If I speak from an NBA Owners standpoint, and I want to find an all-around player to be my number 1 (option), do you think the average Owner is going to pick you or LeBron?”
Pippen responded, “I don’t know, do you want individual accolades or do you want championships? ‘Cause I didn’t chase mine.”
James has won four NBA championships during his professional career. He is currently playing in his 22nd NBA season, making him the oldest active player in the league.
Scottie Pippen Discussed His Relationship With Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were instrumental in transforming the Chicago Bulls into one of the most successful dynasties in NBA history, winning six championships together. However, their off-court relationships were often strained, which stood in stark contrast to their impressive teamwork on the court. In a recent interview with Patrick Bet-David, Pippen discussed his relationship with Jordan, revealing that despite their significant achievements as teammates, they were never friends.
“He’s is a very difficult person to deal with. I played with him for years, so I know that when it’s time for you to move in your direction then go in your direction, don’t sit there and try to procrastinate or stretch it that the relationship is not where it was or not what it used to be and it’s never going to be the same, so why try and make something out of nothing, or try to make something that was never there. So yeah, great teammate, but we just never were great friends.” Pippen said.
Over the years, Pippen took several shots at Jordan, who recently sold his Chicago mansion for a surprising price. Although they spent a fair amount of time together on the court, Pippen never had a great bond with the Bulls legend.
Eagles Fan Ryan Caldwell Finally Breaks His Silence After Getting Fired From Job & Permanently Banned From Lincoln Financial Field For Verbally Abusing Female Packers Fan

Ryan Caldwell, the Philadelphia Eagles fan who went viral for cruelly verbally abusing Green Bay Packers fan Ally Keller during Sunday’s Wild Card Round game, has broken his silence on the incident.
Keller attended the game at Lincoln Financial Field with her fiancé, Alexander Basara. The latter shared a viral video of Ryan Caldwell verbally abusing Keller and using derogatory language towards her.
The Eagles have since announced that Caldwell has received a lifetime ban from home games. He was also fired from his job as a project manager at the BCT Partners consulting firm.
Speaking to Jenna Lemoncelli of the New York Post, Ryan Caldwell expressed remorse for his actions and apologized to Keller. He also claims that the video shared by Basara doesn’t provide the entire “context” of their verbal altercation:
“While attending an NFL game last Sunday to support my beloved Philadelphia Eagles, an incident occurred that I deeply regret. What began as banter with two Packers fans sitting near me escalated to something more serious, and I said things that were unacceptable. In the heat of the moment, I chose unforgiving words to address one of the fans, Ms. Ally Keller.
I want to sincerely apologize to Ms. Keller for those words, and to my wife, family, and friends, my former employer and colleagues, Packer fans, Eagle fans, the Philadelphia Eagles, the City of Philadelphia, and all who were offended.
That said, there are two sides to every story. The video clip circulating online does not reflect the full context of what transpired, and my actions were not without provocation. I will live with this experience, and I am certainly paying a personal price. For those who don’t know me, this incident does not reflect my values or the respect I have for others and is not indicative of the person I am.”
