Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence and his wife Marissa made a heartwarming announcement late on Monday, disclosing they’re now the parents of a baby girl.
Trevor and Marissa took to Instagram to drop the news as they revealed the birth of 10-pound, 2-ounce Shae Lynn Lawrence.
“Shae Lynn Lawrence. Born 1/4/25 at 4:01 am. 10 pounds 2 oz 🎀🩷,” Marissa wrote as the caption to a set of photos. “Mommy and daddy love you so much!!! Thank you Jesus for our girl!!”
The first photo, seen below, shows the new parents smiling as they each hold one of their daughters’ hands. Marissa is wearing black pajamas, while Trevor is wearing a baseball cap with the words “Girl Dad.”
It also appears he was wearing a sling after having surgery on his left shoulder last month.
The slide includes photos of Trevor and Marissa taking Shae home. One of them shows the QB carrying his newborn out with his good arm.
Trevor Lawrence And His Wife Are High School Sweethearts
Trevor and Marissa have been together since high school; they started dating in 2016 and got engaged four years later before getting married in 2021. Marissa announced she was pregnant with their first child last June.
“A little Lawrence on the way 🤍,” she revealed back then.
The couple learned they were going to have a girl around a month later, and they threw an ice cream gender reveal party with family and close friends.
Congratulations, Trevor and Marissa!

Veteran pitcher Justin Verlander is no longer a free agent after agreeing to a one-year deal with the San Francisco Giants. The Giants’ rumors of wanting pitchers were true, but not many anticipated Verlander being the one.
The Houston Astros stayed away from their long-time ace as they never offered him a contract. Not to forget that they did not include Verlander in their postseason rotation last year. 2024 was a disaster for Verlander, and many thought his career would be over. Yet, he’s found his way on the Giants rotation.
While Justin Verlander is ready to pitch for another year, many MLB fans believe that his age would be a letdown. Fans took to social media to express their thoughts on the Giants’ $15 million one-year contract.
