Former Princeton football player Martin “Tiger” Bech was one of the fifteen people tragically k!lled in the New Orleans truck att@ck early Wednesday morning.
His brother Jack Bech, a TCU player, confirmed on social media, “Love you always, brother,” Jack shared in a post on X.”
“You inspired me (every day) now you get to be with me in every moment. I got this family T, don’t worry. This is for us.”
Tiger Bech’s d3ath was also confirmed by his mother, Michelle Bech, to ABC News as she told the outlet that her son lived life to the fullest and was “on top of the world.”
Jack Bech led the Horned Frogs with 1,039 receiving yards and nine touchdowns this season.
Tiger Bech’s d3ath brought upon a large number of tributes online:
“RIP King,” former NFL WR Antonio Brown said.
“So heartbreaking 💔. God bless their souls. 🙏,” another person stated.
“May his memory forever be a blessing 🙏,” a third fan added.
“Damn shame. RIP, young man,” one fan said of Tiger Bech.
One final fan said: “Louisiana mourns with you. The Bech family are incredible people. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻”
Tiger Bech Had a Notable College Career Before Tragic Ending
Tiger Bech was taken way too soon as a result of the presumed terror att@ck in New Orleans on New Year’s Day.
Bech played football at STM before going on to play at Princeton.
He was an All-Ivy League performer, spending three seasons at Princeton from 2016-18.
During his three-year career at Princeton, Bech caught 53 passes for 825 yards with three touchdowns.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he graduated from Princeton in 2021 with a degree in finance and worked as a trader at Seaport Global, a New York brokerage firm.
