The NFL has been accused of doing something sneaky in an attempt to get the Chiefs off the hook ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
The Chiefs are set to face the Bills at home in the crucial matchup and are already expected to have an advantage as fans reckon they always receive help from the refs.
However, an online content creator has suggested that the referee assignments have been somewhat tailored to limit flags and, if anything, give the Bills a slight edge because of the widespread belief that the NFL wants Kansas City to win.

Refs Aside, The Chiefs Have The Advantage Heading Into The AFC Championship Game
The Chiefs do appear to have everything going for them ahead of tomorrow’s clash. They’ve gone 9-0 at home this season, while quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been his stellar self. Travis Kelce, while a shadow of himself in 2024, had a great outing against Houston in the last round.
While the offense has mostly sputtered through the season, Steve Spagnuolo’s defense has been particularly formidable, allowing 19.2 points a game.

As for the Bills, they’ve been able to hurt teams with their solid offensive line and strong running game. James Cook has been very effective in that department, while Josh Allen has also been a threat on the ground and immense in the air.
Sunday’s meeting will mark the fourth playoff clash between Mahomes and Allen since 2020. Mahomes is 3-0 in these outings, though Allen has had more success against him in the regular season at 4-1.
