Slater primarily covers the Dallas Cowboys, who are coming off a disappointing 2024 season. The Cowboys had a bunch of injuries, missed the playoffs and parted ways with head coach Mike McCarthy.
Dallas surprised most of the NFL world by hiring offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer. The Cowboys are working on a contract extension for Micah Parsons and looking to add necessary talent and depth in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.
The Cowboys will look to get back into playoff and Super Bowl contention in 2025. Slater will be there for the ride, but it’s good to see her getting some down time during an otherwise very busy NFL offseason.
