SAD NEWS: Cannon Hall Farm issues heartbreaking update after sudden d3ath

Cannon Hall Farm owners Rob and Dave Nicholson have promised fans an “emotional” episode in the upcoming series of Channel 5 show The Yorkshire Vet. The Springtime on the Farm stars sadly lost their shire horse stallion Herkules last year after he suffered a sudden colic, leading in a blockage that damaged his intestines.
Despite emergency surgery, Herkules tragically died, with Rob announcing the news shortly after to fans on Facebook. He said: “It’s really difficult to take in, heartbreaking is an easy word to say but we just can’t believe it. He had everything going for him. I never thought we’d have an animal like him. Losing him has floored us but the sympathy and good wishes that have flowed in our direction have helped ease the pain a little.”

Herkules was just three years old at the time of his death.
Now the pair have unveiled a bench in tribute to the late horse, showing off the memorial furniture in a wood-shop.
The bench features a plaque which reads: “In loving memory of Herkules. A noble and gentle soul. Forever in our hearts. From everyone at Cannon Hall.”
A caption accompanying the Instagram post told fans: “We are back on the big telly with an emotional segment coming up on the brand new series of The Yorkshire Vet, which begins on Channel 5 at 8pm on August 13.
“Make sure you mark it on your diaries!”
Fans rushed to comment on the post, with one branding the bench “beautiful” as another said: “Can’t wait!”
