Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz have shared a touching update after the birth of their twin boys earlier this month.
The proud parents previously shared the exciting news with their followers on Instagram on Wednesday, writing: “They are here!! My heart is filled with so much love and gratitude.”
Two days later, actress Liz has posted images showing her celebrating her newborns’ arrival with friends, with one of the pictures showing them sat around the table drinking coffee.
Another picture showed Liz had been presented with a green and yellow cake, which was decorated with icing teddy bears and a silver balloon which had the word ‘twins’ printed in gold.
Liz captioned the images: ‘It’s been a month to remember. Thanks for being the best.”

It’s an exciting time for the family as they already have daughter Marnie, aged five, and son Milo, three.
Former Emmerdale actor Kelvin and Liz announced earlier this year that they were expecting twin boys, whose names have not yet been revealed.
Previously speaking about becoming a mum to twins, Liz said: “I felt every single emotion under the sun. First, there’s double the worry.
“I thought about things like breastfeeding, how is that possible with two? How do you pick up two babies at the same time?

“I felt all of this in the space of 30 seconds. Kelvin was saying it’s a miracle, and I was thinking ‘How are we going to do this?’
“But now we can’t imagine it any other way. We feel so lucky.”
Kelvin was a fan favourite on Emmerdale after he played Andy Sugden on the ITV soap for 20 years, from 1996 to 2016.

He has also competed on Strictly Come Dancing, where he ended up winning and lifting the Glitterball trophy with partner Oti Mabuse during the 2019 series.
Kelvin and Liz have been married for seven years (

The family moved to the countryside last year, which was documented on their BBC show Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure.
Kelvin is now gearing up to star in a National Theatre production of Richard Bean’s comedy Jack Absolute Flies Again alongside Caroline Quentin in July.
The couple have been married since 2015, with Andy previously saying he knew he wanted to marry Liz the day he met her.

He previously told Hello! Magazine : “The image of Liz coming towards me up the aisle will live with me forever. She took my breath away. She looked so beautiful.”
