Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen shared an emotional message for the fanbase following the team’s heartbreaking AFC Championship Game loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Allen had another strong outing against Kansas City, completing 22 pass attempts for 237 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions to go along with 39 rushing yards. But for the fourth time in five years, and for the second straight season, Buffalo’s Super Bowl dreams were spoiled by Patrick Mahomes.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Josh Allen took some time to credit Bills Mafia for their loyalty and support and promised that they’ll continue to work towards bringing the Super Bowl to Orchard Park.
Here’s what Allen said to what he called “the best fanbase in the world”, per Nick Veronica of News 4 Buffalo:
“Even through all the hurt and disappointment they’ve had to endure, really for the entirety of the existence of the Buffalo Bills, we’re going to continue to turn every stone over…to try to bring a Lombardi back here to Western New York.”
The Bills had won 11-plus games in each of the last five years, including a trio of 13-win seasons. They have made the playoffs seven times under Sean McDermott’s first eight years but don’t have a single Super Bowl appearance to show for it.
Josh Allen has brought his A-game against Kansas City in the postseason, but he’s been let down by his defense, special teams (see Tyler Bass’ “Wide Right II” miss), and drops by receivers (namely Dalton Kincaid on Sunday).
Bills Squander Another One Of Josh Allen’s Prime Years
On one hand, you can look at Allen and remember that Peyton Manning and John Elway didn’t win their first championships until they were 30 and 37, respectively.
But Miami Dolphins fans will remind you that nothing’s guaranteed, no matter how great your quarterback is. The legendary Dan Marino reached the Super Bowl in his sophomore 1984 season with the Dolphins but never got back to the big game again.
Allen and the Bills keep getting close, but you do have to wonder if he’ll ever get the bounces, or if this team is doomed to go through as much heartbreak as the ’90s squad.
VIDEO: Some Dude Just Dropped The Cold Hard Truth On Why All Of These NFL Prospects Are “Dating White Women”
Unless this is your first day in America, then you know race relations in this country dominate just everything, and that includes NBA and NFL drafts
During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.
The same thing happens with the NBA Draft.
This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.
One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.
He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.
He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.
