Following their December 28 date in New York City, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been relatively out of the spotlight. They did, however, have a very special New Year’s Eve together.
A source told Page Six that the couple left Manhattan to fly back to Kansas City, Missouri, to celebrate. “[They] spent the days leading up to New Year’s in New York,” the source said.

“But they flew back together to Kansas City on Monday.” Part of this was due to Kelce’s schedule, as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end had football practice on December 30 and January 1, the outlet revealed.
The couple ended 2024 on a high note, the source added: “Taylor and Travis spent New Year’s Eve together in Kansas City and shared a kiss as soon as it hit midnight. It was very romantic.”
Swift just wrapped her Eras Tour last month. She has not announced her next project yet. Kelce will play his next game on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

It is an away game, making it less likely that Swift will attend. She has only attended home games this year, as they pose less of a security risk. In October, a source explained her reasoning to Page Six, saying, “She’s not going anywhere unless she knows the venue intimately, and it has been thoroughly scouted and secured in advance.”
On December 3, a source spoke to Us Weekly about Swift’s plans for the new year. She intends to spend more time with her partner of over a year, the source said.
“Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because [that’s when] the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play,” the insider explained.

“They will learn so much about each other.” Her future touring plans depend on her relationship. While Swift wants to get back out there, “things can change,” the source said. “A lot of it hinges on what happens over the next year with Travis. She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”
