Hoda Kotb is ready to take Paris by storm.
The TODAY co-anchor has landed in the City of Light for the 2024 Paris Olympics and shared a video of her taking in some sights with her driver, Christopher.
“Landed in Paris…come with me as Christopher shows me around!” she captioned the video she posted on Instagram July 25.

Christopher showed off his tour guide talents, pointing out a soccer stadium that will also be used for rugby during the Games. He also showed her the Olympics swimming facility and mentioned the Olympic Village is behind it, although their view was blocked.
After the pair discussed swimming for a few moments (“We have Katie Ledecky, who’s amazing,” Hoda said), they talked about how they’re riding in an Olympic car lane, which allows drivers to go faster if they’re in it. Eagle-eyed viewers will notice the words “2024 Paris” are painted on the ground in the lane.
Christopher said using the lane helps save time for motorists, and he confirmed Hoda’s inquiry that only official Olympic cars are allowed to use the lane.
In another clip Hoda posted on July 25, she was in awe when Christopher took her by the Arc de Triomphe.
“Wow. Very beautiful,” she said. “How amazing. Wow.”
They also passed by a setup for a French television network before he filled her in on where TODAY will be set up.
“This is so exciting,” she said as she swung the camera on herself while the car cruises down a seemingly empty road. Hoda then mentioned the city is just beginning to wake up and that she has to go pick up her credentials.
“Come along!” Hoda says as she ends the video.
Hoda is tickled pink to be in Paris for the Games.
“The Olympics always reminds me of how small the world is, and I think it’s such a good thing to remember,” she said in TODAY.com’s July cover story about attending the Olympic Games.
“You look around, you realize, ‘Wow, here we all are in one tiny spot on this globe. People from all over the globe are right here together competing, whether win, lose or draw — whatever it is, you are doing it as a team.’”
