John takes action against Belle as she starts to hunt for the truth about Nate in Emmerdale
In Emmerdale tonight, John came face-to-face with Aidan. And Belle grew closer to discovering the truth about Nate.
It was a dramatic night in the Dales for John, when Cathleen forced him to spend some time with Aidan to encourage him to remember who they are.
Unbeknownst to him, Belle made the decision to go to Shetland to find Nate – is she in danger of facing John’s wrath?

Belle wants to find Nate
When Belle bumped into Tracy again in the shop, she realised just how bad things are for her financially. And wanted to do something to help.
When Nate was in the village, he and Belle developed a close friendship, so she is convinced she could bring him home. So, when she went to Cain for his permission, he gave it to her.
However, the news is yet to reach John about Belle’s plans, but he is already beginning to spiral with worry now that Aidan is awake.
In tonight’s episode, when Cathleen spotted him in the hospital, she brought him to sit with her son. When Cathleen encouraged Aidan to remember John, the pair made eye contact.
And while Aidan may be non-verbal at the moment, it sure looked like he remembered who John is. John panicked and asked to speak to Cathleen alone.
He told her that she shouldn’t push it and may need to accept that Aidan will never remember, telling her he can’t keep holding on to him. She seems to accept that and tells John to leave. But will Aidan start talking?

Emmerdale John goes against Belle
Belle is determined to find Nate, and spoilers show she doesn’t give up – until John steps in. She discovers that Nate never made it to his job in Shetland.
After telling the family the latest development, everyone is concerned. But when John hears, Belle becomes next on his list of people to stop.
He tries to convince Belle that Nate probably doesn’t want to be found and has gone off the grid. And when Belle goes to call the police, John steps in to stop her from doing so.
After much convincing, Belle agrees to stop looking for Nate and instead puts her focus into John and Aaron’s wedding – much to John’s relief.
But with Nate still under the lake, just when will his body be found?
