The Kansas City Chiefs head coach spoke out on the duo’s romance, specifically how the 14-time Grammy winner has dealt with the limelight.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been in the headlines ever since their relationship went public in September 2023.
However, she has been criticized as well as being the target for fans rooting for Kelce’s rivals during that span.
During the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 59 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, fans booed at Swift when she was displayed on the jumbotron.
While at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Andy Reid gave props to Swift for her attitude about being made fun of.
“She’s a good girl, she handles that whole thing the right way, that’s a tough deal,” Reid said about Swift.
“But she does a great job of handling it.
“Kelce, I think, does a great job of handling it.”
Reid also gave kudos to Swift and that’s she’s dealt with the backlash the same way the Chiefs players’ significant others have also gone through.
“She’s part of the team – like the other girlfriends and wives,” Reid said.
“They’re part of it. That’s all part of the process.”

Swift has been to 22 games since dating the 10-time Pro Bowl tight end Kelce.
She most recently appeared at the VIP suite at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans for the big game between the Chiefs and Eagles.
After Philly squashed the Chiefs’ three-peat hopes, Page Six reported that a source told the outlet that Swift “couldn’t be more proud” of Kelce.
Kelce, who’s been contemplating retirement, turns 36 in October and has a year left on his contract.
‘Well-talked-about personal life’
Travis Kelce was asked about his relationship with Taylor Swift during an interview with Good Morning America.
But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave a cagey response.
“When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier,” Kelce told GMA.
“I’ve always been a very grounded guy. It might not come off that way when I’m playing football.
“But off the field, I just want to be a genuine person. I try not to get too far down the road.
“Because you never know what opportunities are going to present themselves.”
During a press conference on Tuesday, Reid was asked whether he’s talked with Travis Kelce about the 10-time Pro Bowler’s potential retirement.
“I did, and that’s up to Travis,” he said.
However, Chiefs general manager Brett Veach announced that Kelce will be back for the 2025 season.
He said Kelce was “fired up” about entering the final year of his contract and rocking the red and gold.
