Today Show friends Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb “ran into each other” on a sunny vacation in Florida, but viewers aren’t convinced of the serendipitous reunion.
Savannah posted a photo with Hoda on Tuesday (February 18), revealing they shared a meal while visiting Palm Beach, Florida. Savannah was there with her family, staying at The Colony Hotel.
The duo were formerly co-hosts on the show, until Hoda left her role earlier this year to spend more time with her family. She had been with Today for 17 years, and with the NBC network for 26 years.
Many fans were excited to see them back together, but others found the idea of an unplanned meet up unlikely. Savannah posted the photo of the meeting, saying: “Oh and a bonus @hodakotb sighting for a little extra [sun emoji].”

One person said on the post: “Like they randomly ran into each other. Give me a break.” Another wrote, “Oh like they didn’t [know] each other was there. lol,” while a third said, “‘ran into each other’ yeah, and I was born yesterday.”
A fourth added: “Ran into each other haha don’t believe them for a minute.” Others were excited to see the friends back together.
Some noted they were wondering if they would meet up, as both were posting about vacationing in Palm Beach. One said, “True Friendship,” while another added, “I love this picture.”
Many fans admitted they missed Hoda on the show. One wrote: “So precious! I miss @hodakotb every morning. I can’t wait to have you back in my life! Hoda brings such amazing inspiration!”
A netizen chimed in: “When I saw you both on a vacation very close I knew this would be a fun get together!!! Enjoy!!!!!” And one more penned: “My two favorite co-anchor of @todayshow.”
