When it comes to one thing folks know about the Today show host, it’s how much he loves to share sweet moments of his family with fans. And he did just that on May 14 when he honored his daughter, Courtney Roker Laga, for her birthday by sharing a video montage on Instagram.
The snippet featured photos of Courtney, Al and their family over the years, and along with it, the TV news added a very sweet caption.
“A #happybirthday to my oldest child and the first one to make me realize the adage, ‘To have a child is to have your heart beating outside of your body,'” he emotionally wrote in the caption. “Is true. Here’s to another year ‘round the sun. I love you, @ouichefroker.”
