KELVIN Fletcher and his family were forced to sit in their car last night after a huge power cut at their home.
The actor, pregnant wife Liz and their young children Milo and Marnie kept warm on their driveway while they waited for the outage to end so that they could watch the final episode of their BBC show Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure.

Wife Liz saw the funny side
The family had visited a local pub for their dinner when the power cut first happened, but some three hours later they were still left in darkness.
Sharing a video on Instagram, Kelvin said: “We’re all in the car. Milo’s in the back, mummy’s driving. We’ve had a power cut, we’ve been out of power for the last three hours.
“We’ve rushed home to try and get home for the last episode tonight of Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure…
“So we’re literally just sat on the drive in the car, we’re probably going to get it on the iPlayer but hope everyone’s cosy with power watching the last episode tonight.”
Later in the video Liz thanked fans for all their support throughout the series.
She said: “It’s been an amazing journey and we’re so grateful and overwhelmed by our support and all your amazing words.”
The docu-series followed the Fletchers after they bought a 120-acre farm on the edge of the Peak District National Park and turned their hands to raising livestock.
Despite having zero farming experience, other than Kelvin’s fictional portrayal of farmer Andy Sugden in Emmerdale, the family were determined to make the farm a success.
Their no-nonsense next-door neighbour Gilly also featured on the show, introducing them to the art of sheep-shearing and many other farming skills.
