Kelvin Fletcher insists he does not lead a showbiz lifestyle, claiming: ‘Every top I’ve got has baby sick on the shoulder.’
The former Emmerdale star, 38, who won Strictly Come Dancing with Oti Mabuse in 2019, moved from Manchester to a 120-acre farm in the Peak District in February last year with his wife Liz and their children Marnie, six, Milo, three.
Actor Kelvin, who is now also father to twins Maximus and Mateusz, six months, made a BBC fly-on-the-wall show about his life in the country, Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure, and he says he’s more likely to be seen surrounded by animals than striking a pose on the red carpet.

Hard at work: The screen star, who won Strictly in 2019, told the Mirror : ‘It may seem like we have a showbizzy life, but every top I’ve got has baby sick on the shoulder’
They insist they have been welcomed by the local farming community and Kelvin and his family have clearly embraced the lifestyle as they continue to document their exploits on the dedicated Instagram page.
The family have even written a new book, Fletcher On The Farm, which was out last month, as well as an audiobook version.
The actress and voiceover artist said she had feared Kelvin might not make it to her bedside in time for the birth.
Liz told HELLO! magazine: ‘I woke up in the morning and my waters had broken.
‘I rang the hospital and they said to come in. Kelvin had to stay with the kids, so I drove myself to the hospital, which is an hour away, at 5am.
‘I was a bit panicky that Kelvin might miss the birth if it happened straight away. They did a scan and told me, “It’s going to be today.”‘
