SH0CKING: A Place in the Sun’s Laura Hamilton makes HEARTBREAKING STATEMENT after she walks out mid-filming

Laura Hamilton was given the task of locating a new residence for Nadine and Tyler on Spain’s Costa Calida during A Place in the Sun. The Channel 4 presenter walked away from an apartment viewing after admitting she’d taken an enormous gamble with the property, having been clearly instructed that the pair wished to buy a villa. Hailing originally from Trinidad, Nadine and Tyler hoped Laura might assist them in discovering their permanent home after concluding it was time to return to sunnier climates.

Tyler and Nadine were seeking a two-bedroom villa within a £160,000 budget. Nadine’s friend Jeanette accompanied her on the hunt as Tyler couldn’t make the trip owing to work obligations. Jeanette said she would be acting on Tyler’s behalf and representing his preferences throughout the property hunt.

“The crucial thing for Tyler is character and I know I can’t get the mod cons in a character property,” Nadine explained.

Both Nadine and Jeanette dismissed the initial two properties as they believed neither offered the space they required, but the third characterful property captured both friends’ attention.

Entering the enormous open-plan kitchen, Nadine commented: “This is such a contrast from the last one. I think the space would be well used.” Laura asked: “This isn’t your only kitchen, this is your summer kitchen you’re well excited about this aren’t you?” “She’s wowed,” Jeanette observed as Nadine said: “The space has really impressed me,” before Laura instructed the duo to continue their viewing without her.

“Go and explore,” Laura suggested, adding: “They seem to be making all the right noises, we might have our first contender.”

Nadine and Jeanette both agreed that Tyler should arrange a visit to the property before Laura disclosed she had taken a “risk” with the next offering.

In stark contrast to the third remote property, Laura presented the friends with a duplex apartment within strolling distance of the marina.

“I’m not sure Tyler would like this,” Jeanette observed as the presenter showed them the communal pool.

“I want you to have a look at this one your own now so off you go,” Laura announced.”It’s a bit of a gamble, I’m confident it can work for Nadine but will Jeanette say it will work for Tyler,” she pondered.

Inside the apartment, Nadine expressed: “This is a lovely space, it’s a clean and bright space. Oh wow this is a view. I definitely want Tyler to see this he might compromise to wake up to those views.”

However, Laura’s selections proved to be a mistake as Nadine took Tyler to see the third property and the fifth property, which he ultimately rejected.

Tyler concluded: “Both are too isolated, we love the region and want to explore what we can afford.”

“I’m gutted I can’t find you that perfect property,” Laura responded as she gave up on the viewing, before saying: “Good luck.”
