Country music sensation Carrie Underwood is ruffling feathers after revealing she’ll perform at Donald Trump’s second swearing-in. Now 41, the star is copping flak as old footage from the 2013 CMA Awards resurfaces and goes viral, showing pop sweetheart Taylor Swift looking notably uneasy.
At the event, Underwood alongside Brad Paisley delivered a skit taking aim at Obamacare’s hiccups and hold-ups during its initial rollout. Underwood quipped to the audience, “I started signing up last Thursday, and I’m almost done.”
Provoking laughter as the duo crooned a satirical song with lyrics: “Obamacare by morning/Why is this taking so long? ” While celebs like Keith Urban and Faith Hill also seemed awkward during the act, it was Swift’s stunned reaction that truly captured attention.
Her bewildered face post-punchline became a focal point, sparking comments online such as: “Taylor was confused by them and took notes of who was clapping and said I’m making pop music from now on.”
