‘Really pissed her off’: Celebrity Traitors’ Charlotte Church ISSUES SIX-WORD Statement Criticising Alison Hammond during This Morning appearance over car crɑsh

Celebrity Traitors star Charlotte Church has taken a major swipe at This Morning host Alison Hammond saying she ‘p*****d her off’ during a car crɑsh interview.
The singer, who is currently starring in the BBC reality show’s first ever series starring famous faces, admitted she was left reeling after Alison, 50, laughed at her during a segment on the ITV daytime show.
Charlotte, 39, who rose to fame as a classical singer, had been invited on the show to lead hosts Alison and Dermot O’Leary in a stress-relieving sound bath session in 2024.
The Welsh singer owns wellbeing centre The Dreaming, in Wales, which offers a range of spiritual retreats, including sound baths
However, instead of taking the session seriously, Alison was unable to keep a straight face and kept laughing through the session, while Charlotte did her best to keep calm.
While the singer appeared to have brushed it off at the time, she’s now revealed she was left furious by Alison’s behaviour – with the moment ‘touching a deep wound’.

Whilst the frequencies clearly relaxed Dermot, they seemed to tickle Alison as she fought with the corners of her mouth to hide her smirk before bursting into fits of laughter
Speaking on Elizabeth Day’s How To Fail podcast, Charlotte revealed: ‘Oh, that p****d me right off. That p****d me right off.’
As Elizabeth admitted she ‘felt for’ the star during the segment, Charlotte continued: ‘I’ve met Alison Hammond a number of times and she’s a wonderful woman.
‘I think that part of it was a misjudgement on my part to go “Let’s do a five minute sound bath on national TV. That makes loads of sense. Let’s go for it”.
‘It was a misjudgement on my part, but I think that what annoyed me more than anything else was that then I’m given the opportunity to display and demonstrate and represent somewhat this amazing art of sound healing or sound ceremony or however people want to describe it and then it’s made a figure of fun.’
Admitting Alison’s interruptions touched a nerve, she added: ‘That really did actually touch quite a deep wound for me. I was like, “Ugh I really like you, Alison, but f*** you!”‘
Alison’s blunder was broadcast live on ITV last year, with the clip racking up millions more views online, and even featuring on Channel 4 series Gogglebox.
It saw Charlotte revealing the part that sound plays in her life, and explaining how ‘healing’ it can be for others: ‘One of our pillars is sound and sound healing in all of its forms.
‘Sound affects us on a cellular level and science is really starting to come to terms with the power of sound.’

‘It’s about helping people drop into a deep sense of relaxation and there are so many health benefits around it. In today’s age, it’s very difficult for people to switch off.’
Alison and Dermot laid down whilst Charlotte and her musician husband performed their sound bath, hoping that the often hyperactive hosts would slip into a state of relaxation.
Charlotte’s angelic singing voice paired with a plethora of instruments, including an ocean drum, shamanic rattles and koshi bells, created a breathtaking soundscape.
However, while the frequencies clearly relaxed Dermot, they seemed to tickle Alison as she fought with the corners of her mouth to hide her smirk.
But as the sound bath reached a crescendo, the host could no longer contain herself and burst into fits of laughter.
Apologising for interrupting the meditation, Alison said: ‘I’m so sorry, I feel like I was being rude. What was really throwing me was you singing. It was really making me giggle.’
Charlotte laughed it off as she explained that while not all sound baths include singing, hers include a lot of it.
