TV CHAOS: ITV The Chase fans ‘SWITCH OFF’ minutes into show as they ISSUE same complaint

The Chase fans were left “switching off” Wednesday’s episode of the ITV game show (August 20) after realising that it was yet another repeat. Bradley Walsh presented the show as usual, but eagle-eyed viewers noticed a giveaway sign that they had seen it all before, as fans remembered the players’ faces and others claimed the episode aired just “weeks ago”.
“This was on a couple of weeks ago,” slammed one fan. Another penned: “Wasn’t this one on not long ago? I remember that Welsh question,” while a third added: “When are we going to get a new series. I’m sick of the endless repeats.” One fan even revealed they were tuning out entirely: “Slow show tonight due to being a repeat, judging by the lack of comments on here. I’m off to #pointless bye all… #TheChase”. But some fans of were left in hysterics after one contestant revealed his cheeky plans for his prize money.

Kevin, Austin, Samantha and Philomena lined up to face Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan, with the team taking on the quiz in a bid to secure a big jackpot.
Philomena kicked things off with an impressive £6,000, while Samantha added another £1,000 to the pot. University student Austin followed with £4,000 before final contestant Kevin stepped up to the podium.
Before going head-to-head with Jenny, the host asked Kevin what he planned to do with his winnings if he came out on top. The amateur comic left the studio giggling as he replied that he would be “soundproofing his bedroom.”
The one-liner quickly went viral, with fans flocking to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their amusement.
One wrote: “‘I want to soundproof the bedroom…’ that’s one hell of a boast!! #thechase.”
Another added: “Kevin wants to soundproof his bedroom #TheChase.”
A third joked: “Soundproofing the bedroom. I wonder why! #TheChase.”
And a fourth chimed in: “Soundproof the bedroom [two cry-laughing emojis] what a guy #TheChase.”
After Kevin’s quip, the team got back to business as the broadcaster fired a string of general knowledge questions at them. In just two minutes, the quartet managed an incredible 19 correct answers.
Jenny then stepped up for her round, but the chaser faltered as the team successfully pushed her back three times.

In the nail-biting finish, she failed to catch them, falling short by a single correct answer.
The group erupted in celebration as they hugged and cheered, securing their winnings after one of the most entertaining episodes of the series.
