Lorraine Kelly has given the thumbs up to Queen Camilla’s heartwarming new furry family member.
The Queen Consort won hearts after adopting an eight-week-old rescue pup, sweetly named Moley, following the tragic passing of her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Beth, last year.
Queen Camilla, 77, unveiled her latest family addition while engaging with the public during a stop at Canterbury’s Beaney House of Art and Knowledge on Tuesday (25 February), where she met with fellow dog-lovers.
Chatting on ITV’s Lorraine on Wednesday (26 February), the host expressed her delight at the news, telling the audience: “Good for her, that’s great!”

While at an event in Canterbury on Tuesday, unveiling a statue of esteemed writer Aphra Behin, the Queen made friends with a guide dog and had a natter with a group of partially-sighted museum visitors, reports Bristol Live.
She let slip about the new Royal pooch while cooing over guide dogs ‘ “affectionate” nature, spilling to one of the canine owners, “I’ve just got a new puppy, she’s eight-weeks old.”
And when asked about its breed, the Queen gave a chuckle and said: “You may well ask, a bit of everything. It’s a rescue dog. It’s called Moley – it looks just like a mole.”
The adorable Moley is settling into Royal life after being picked from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, born to a mother who’s half Jack Russell.

The Queen was left heartbroken when her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Beth, passed away last November. The 77 year old monarch shared the tragic news that Beth had lost her battle with an incurable tumour and had to be put down.
Beth was adopted by Camilla from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in 2011 when she was just 12 weeks old, after being found tied to a lamp post. Both Beth and Bluebell – another of Camilla’s dogs – made history three years ago as the first rescue dogs to take up residence in Buckingham Palace.
Bluebell was also adopted from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in 2012. She was discovered wandering alone in a London park, suffering from a painful skin condition.
