Watch out, Henry Hager, you’ve got some competition!
When Hager co-hosted TODAY with Jenna & Friends with wife Jenna Bush Hager for the second time on March 28, he shared that the couple’s youngest child, Hal, might be a little jealous of his dad.
When announcing her book tour over the weekend, Jenna said, “I’ll be traveling. I know you’re going to miss me, but probably Hal will miss me the most.”
“That’s probably right. I will miss you, and we’ll get by without you,” said Henry, adding, “We’ll try.”
Henry Harold “Hal” Hager is 5 years old, and a social butterfly just like his mama. It seems as though he has become a bit possessive of Jenna.

“We are in this moment, and I wonder if any of y’all relate, where our youngest son is jealous of our romance,” Jenna said. The couple also shares two older daughters, Mila and Poppy.
Hager has the perfect example.
“We were all in the kitchen, and he was eating, and everybody was quite happy, and we went over and I gave you a kiss, just a nice little kiss, a little peck,” he began.
“It wasn’t even a French?” Jenna joked.
“Hal just started bawling crying,” Hager said. “He was all smiles eating and then it was just … “
“Devastation,” Jenna concluded.
“Total devastation,” Henry agreed.
“It was as if Hal and I were dating, and you swiped in and stole him from me,” said Jenna. “And Henry goes, ‘Hal, just to be clear, the reason you’re born is because your mom and I like each other.’”
“So I went in for another kiss,” Hager said.
“Just to antagonize the poor guy,” Jenna explained.
Hager said, “I needed to let him know that there are boundaries. You’re my spouse, and he can’t move in on my wife.”
In other words … back off, Hal!
