GMB presenter Ranvir Singh gives HEARTBREAKING update as she faces cancer fears
Host of GMB Ranvir Singh revealed she had cancer concerns after recently undergoing emergency surgery.
Earlier this month, the former Strictly star, 47, was forced to pull out of work after initially suffering from a “sudden stomach ache”. She later had to have “urgent surgery” after she was told she had “a ruptured appendix”.
However, in a new health update, Ranvir was worried she had bowel cancer.

Ranvir Singh shares cancer concerns
During Friday morning’s (May 30) GMB, Ranvir and co-host Rob Rinder welcomed Made in Chelsea star Sam Vanderpump to talk about his recent health scare. The reality star had liver and kidney failure. This caused life-threatening sepsis.
After Sam, 27, alarmed viewers that they need to express their concerns to a doctor if they are dealing with sepsis symptoms, Ranvir then opened up about her recent experience.
“It’s interesting, you know, when I had my appendix ruptured a couple of weeks ago, about three weeks ago, the thing that made me call 111, I had sort of been writhing around all day straight after work,” she said.
“It was eight o’clock at night, and I thought, let’s check it’s not bowel cancer. I don’t know, it’s because Lorraine’s team have been doing a bowel cancer thing.
“So, raising awareness genuinely works in the moment when you’re in pain, you go: ‘What could it be?’ So just planting a seed in the mind of someone.”
Co-host Rob Rinder chimed in and said that doctors initially turned away Ranvir, telling her “it was nothing”, despite the pain.

‘I’m sore and shuffling around’
During her initial health update, Ranvir admitted she had “horrendous shoulder pain” after her surgery.
“The bacteria had spread and infected my blood etc and told to take this week off by @jadeens,” she said.
“I’m sore and shuffling around, can’t drive for a week, and no exercise for 4 weeks (!) so really it’s the boredom that will kill me! Ps. Anyone else have this horrendous shoulder pain afterwards? It’s mad isn’t it!”
