Taylor Swift showed Patrick and Brittany Mahomes some love after they welcomed their third child.
The football star and his wife made the announcement on Monday, January 13 on Instagram with a black and white photo. The picture showed the parents of now three holding their baby girl’s feet with her name carved on wood, Golden Raye.
The picture has since received more than 720,000 likes with one of them being from Taylor Swift. The Love Story singer did not comment on the picture, but the Kelce Brothers, Jason and Travis, the latter of which is dating Taylor, did. Kristin Juszczyk, Patrick’s brother Jackson Mahomes, women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark, and others also issued their congratulations in the comment section.
Taylor and Brittany had got very close during the last football season and would be seen cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs together. This all started once Taylor started dating the team’s tight end, Travis, and attended her first game in September 2023. Since, Taylor has been supporting her boyfriend from a suite with friends and family, including Brittany.

Through time, Taylor and Brittany have got close and even have their own celebratory hand shake when either Travis or Patrick make a touchdown or a good play. It has been reported that Brittany’s two kids, Sterling Skye, 3, and son Bronze, already call Taylor “auntie.”
There was a moment in their friendship where fans were skeptical about its future. Brittany was caught liking a presidential campaign post supporting former president Donald Trump. However, Taylor posted her endorsement towards Kamala Harris and Tim Walz after the presidential debate. Fans then saw the two friends keeping their distance.
After some time, Brittany was seen cheering on her husband at Arrowhead Stadium alongside Taylor and also attended Taylor’s birthday party in December. Back in October, Brittany was caught running up to Taylor for a hug as they were both at Arrowhead to support their beaus. Pictures of Taylor touching Brittany’s baby bump alongside Lyndsay Bell, wife of Chiefs tight end Blake Bell, was posted giving fans the hint that the two have put their differences aside.
