Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher has shared the tough realities of being a farmer as he swaps soap life to run a farm.
The 37-year-old shared a snap of a classic Land Rover Discovery parked in the middle of a snowy field as he battles his first bout of winter weather.
He captioned the story: “All the gear.”
After weeks of cryptically posting photos of tractors, barns and furry friends, the actor finally told fans that he had traded cameras for calving after buying a farm.
He made the big announcement in early December: “So happy to finally announce this!

“If you’ve been sat there wondering what these random farming and outdoor pictures are all about well now you know!
“We have literally jumped in at the deep end and bought a farm! A reluctant Wife, 2 crazy kids and a Husband with knowledge of farming you could write on the back of a stamp! What could possibly go wrong?!”

The caption was accompanied by a sweet snap of him leaning against the huge wheel of a tractor with his wife Liz, their two children Marnie, five and Milo, three and their dog.
Despite being very honest about not having a clue what they were letting themselves in for, Kelvin and Liz looked every bit the rural power couple.
Fans can follow Kelvin and the family as they stumble into farming life, with near to no experience on the new BBC series Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure.

TV bosses have high hopes for the show following a soar in popularity for farming shows like Our Yorkshire Farm and Amazon’s Clarkson’s Farm.
The former Strictly Come Dancing winner spent two decades playing Andy Sugden in Emmerdale.
He left city life in Manchester and is now the proud owner of a 120-acre 18th century farm in the Peak District.

Liz said she was worried they were “jumping in at the deep end” with the series, which is expected to run for six episodes.
As well as buying a farm, the Fletchers will also be welcoming a new family member this year.
Sharing another wholesome photo of the clan posing in front of hay bales, Kelvin said: “Team Fletcher is about to get bigger.
“Can’t tell you how happy we all are. We feel extremely grateful and can’t wait to meet the new addition to our family.
“Thank you for all your kind messages. We are gonna need another pair of wellies!”
Fans will be able to see what his new life is like on January 17 when the show airs.
