Relationship expert Louella Alderson has now suggested Karoline and Nicholas have a romance built on “strong mutual support, friendship, and shared goals.” Speaking to The Mirror US, she added, “Her husband’s willingness to step back to support her career indicate a dynamic of encouragement rather than control, which is a healthy foundation.”

Alderson continued, “Despite the unconventional age gap, their connection could be based on genuine admiration and respect for each other’s ambition and accomplishments.”

She also suggested it’s “understandable” that Karoline had initial concerns about the age gap relationship. Alderson’s comments come after Karoline gave fans an insight into her marriage. “I mean it’s a very atypical love story but he’s incredible,” Karoline gushed about Nicholas.

She added, “He’s the father of my child and he’s the best dad I could ever ask for. And he is so supportive, especially during a very chaotic period of life.”

Karoline also revealed she often tells her husband, “I walked into your life and it’s been a circus ever since.” However, she admitted she feels blessed as he’s “fully on board.”

During an appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show, Karoline further praised, “He is my greatest supporter, he’s my best friend and he’s my rock. He’s built a very successful business himself so now he’s fully supportive of me building my success in my career.”

She also opened up about how it all started for her and Nicholas. “A mutual friend of ours hosted an event at a restaurant that he owns up in New Hampshire and invited my husband. I was speaking,” she explained. The mom-of-one added, “We met and we were acquainted as friends. And then we fell in love.”
