Emmerdale’s latest episode appeared to confirm whether April Windsor was alive or d3ad, weeks on from the 15 year old going missing on the ITV soap
There was a major update on Emmerdale on Monday night, as viewers learned more about missing April Windsor’s whereabouts.
The teenager, aged 15, has been missing since Christmas Day after she fled her home. Since then, some of her secrets have come to light with her dad Marlon Dingle finding things out he hadn’t previously known.
No one knows where April is, with viewers last seeing her getting into the back of a mystery car. We don’t know where she went after this, but recently a teenager was rushed to hospital with stab wounds and they sadly d!ed.
The person had April’s purse in their possession, but again nothing has been revealed about April’s fate and whereabouts. Instead, Marlon has continued searching for his missing daughter with others in the village also looking for her.
In the latest episode there was a major update though and it appeared to confirm April’s fate. The teenager had been spotted in some chilling footage on CCTV, with them able to work out where she was and when it was taken.

The family’s liaison officer Anna had some crucial information for April’s worried family before she showed them the clip. It was blurry, but they and Marlon were able to confirm it was April in the video.
Anna revealed the CCTV footage was from central Leeds and had been recorded that day. This confirmed that April was still alive and had not d!ed, like Marlon had feared.
Marlon had newfound hope that they would find missing April and soon, while her current location was not known. April was shown running across an area where the CCTV camera was, while it wasn’t known if she was running from someone or to somewhere.

Marlon had feared for his daughter after experiencing a horrid nightmare. In the nightmare, April had d!ed with her body found, leaving him waking up screaming. When April’s step-grandmother also shared her concern about April’s fate Marlon lashed out, so the news from Anna certainly heightened his hopes.
Actor Mark Charnock recently spoke to The Mirror about the horrifying storyline. He told us: “I was very upset reading the scripts. Obviously it’s hopefully going to be a moving story but the scripts were so strong, you could see the writer’s personal investment in a lot of this stuff. I was speaking to the producers and everybody’s like… it’s huge, isn’t it? It’s a huge thing. It’s the most unimaginable thing. Horrible, horrible.”
