Controversial YouTube star Logan Paul has been banned from a country that he’s never actually visited, the 29-year-old revealed in his new vlog.
Like his younger brother, fellow YouTuber and boxing star Jake, Logan Paul is one of the most polarizing social media personalities of his era. And apparently, some of Paul’s antics have resulted in him being on the banned list from one of the world’s most populated nations.
On the latest episode of his YouTube vlog, Logan revealed that he wanted to join MrBeast (real name Jimmy Donaldson) on a vacation to Egypt. MrBeast was documenting his visits to the pyramid as part of a project, and Paul asked to come along.
Donaldson was happy for his buddy to come along, only to discover that Logan Paul is actually banned from entering the country:
MrBeast just uploaded a new video exploring the pyramids or something. I love the pyramids. So I was like ‘Jimmy, can I come?’ And he was like ‘For sure dude.’ Then a week later he called me and was like ‘Dude, unfortunately, the Egyptian government said that you can’t come, otherwise we can’t come.
I was like ‘Wait what? I know I pissed people off but the Egyptian government? I’ve never even been to Egypt, why can’t I come to the pyramid Jimmy?’ He said ‘I don’t know the government specifically said you are the only person that cannot come on this trip.’”
The Egyptian government’s exact reason for disliking Paul and barring him from entering isn’t exactly clear. And we’re going to go ahead and guess that Paul isn’t going to bother looking for answers.
