BREAKING: The One Show PAUSES as Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder make an IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT about Their Partnership

The One Show was halted on Friday September 19 as BBC stars Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder delivered a massive announcement. The pair appeared alongside presenters Alex Jones and Clara Amfo on the iconic sofa as they discussed the second series of their travel programme, entitled Rob and Rylan’s Passage to India.
The new instalment follows after the duo initially journeyed across Italy for their Grand Tour series last year, which bagged them a BAFTA. Pausing the programme to make the announcement, Rob and Rylan revealed their destination for the third series.

Alex Jones asked: “Both these series have seemed to transform the pair of you, and in turn then, we’ve had so much out of watching them and people absolutely love these programmes.
“And good news, because there’s a third series. We know where you’re off, but you’re gonna share it with our viewers, aren’t you?”
Rylan replied: “We are off to Greece! What are we following, I forget? The Odyssey?”
Rob confirmed they would be drawing inspiration from “Odysseus a little bit,” explaining: “But all about philosophy and democracy, and fun and beautiful conversation.”
Rylan added: “It really has changed our lives. I’ve literally just landed from a flight from Florence.
“I’ve just come back with my partner, and I went out there and called Elizabeth, who showed us the Artemisia Gentileschi painting, and I went to see it yesterday… I’m actually high-brow now, not just eyebrow!”
Rob concluded: “I’m so proud. But also, [Rylan’s] taught me, as well, to go and delight in the world and have fun and let go a bit. That’s the kind of, if you like, benignly beautiful platonic marriage that we have.

“It’s one thing to look at the art with your head, but you’ve got to do it with your heart too, and that’s the special brand of magic that he brings us.”
Rob and Rylan’s newest series, Passage to India, sees the duo retracing the steps of renowned writer, EM Forster.
The four-part programme witnesses the pair journeying through famous cities including Delhi and Varanasi, alongside smaller settlements such as Khajuraho.
