SH0CK REVELATION: Coronation Street’s Tracy McDonald makes MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT in @FFAIR storyline

Tracy McDonald made a big decision on Coronation Street as the affair between Abi and Carl Webster continued.
Tracy, who had casually been seeing Carl in recent months, discovered on Friday (22 August) that he was in a relationship with his sister-in-law, which they had kept a secret from nearly everybody in Weatherfield.

Armed with new knowledge, Tracy attempted to blackmail the pair by asking for money in exchange for her silence. The storyline rumbled on during Monday’s (25 August) instalment, which saw Abi propose a bold idea.
She suggested to Carl that they could move to Germany to live their lives in peace, with the character reasoning that staying in Weatherfield would be “unfair” on Kevin. Carl was surprised by the idea, but first they needed to bargain with Tracy.

Abi met with Tracy in the café, explaining that, while she loved Kevin, her heart “beats faster” when she was with Carl. She subsequently appealed to Tracy’s conscience not to make the situation “any worse”.
Tracy invited Abi back to hers and recalled her affair with Tommy Orpington, explaining that it was a similar situation to Abi’s. She did, however, say the feeling “didn’t last”, before remarking Abi and Carl’s relationship was a “trainwreck waiting to happen”.
Despite pressure from Tracy, Abi said she couldn’t tell Kevin, with Tracy giving her an ultimatum – tell him the news or pay up. A furious Abi returned home to Carl and told him what happened.
He explained that the only way they could get money quickly was by continuing his illegal car trade with Fiona; will Abi reluctantly accept this route, or will they find the money another way?
