HEARTBREAKING: Blow for Celebrity Traitors star Kate Garraway ahead of first banishment

Celebrity Traitors began on BBC One this week, and fans are already hooked. But with the first banishment coming up, it’s not looking good for one player in particular.

For months fans had been excited for the beginning of Celebrity Traitors, after the incredible success of the regular show. And while there have been a few complaints so far, it seems to be a hit.

But with the first banishment just around the corner, exclusive odds from sportscasting.com show that Kate Garraway may be the first one gone, following Paloma Faith’s shock murder.

What is a banishment in Celebrity Traitors?

Last night’s episode (October 9), ended on a huge cliffhanger – which left many fans annoyed. It was the very first roundtable vote, where the players were choosing who they believe is a traitor, and so should be eliminated first.

The actual Traitors this year are TV stars Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, and singer Cat Burns. And it’s safe to say fans are obsessed with the chosen trio.

But who exactly will be the first banished celebrity? Spokesperson Shane Orton exclusively told ED! who he thinks will be gone. And fans most likely won’t be surprised.

Who will be the first celebrity banished?

Exclusive odds place TV star Kate Garraway as most likely to be banished first, after her reactions clearly made some contestants suspicious.

Kate Garraway sits at 4/6 chance of being the first star banished next week when the show returns (October 15). ED! was told: “After a tense second episode, Kate Garraway is the 4/6 favourite to be the first player banished. Her emotional reactions to Paloma’s murder drew attention from several players and saw her pick up three votes by the end of the episode.”

But right behind her is YouTube star Niko Omilana at a 5/4 chance of saying goodbye to the Scottish castle. And it’s mainly down to his career.

Shane said: “Niko Omilana is next in the market at 5/4, with his career as a YouTube prankster making him an easy target. He was also framed during the coffin task, which played a key role in revealing Paloma’s murder.”

Other stars in the running to be first banished are Tameka Empson (12/1) and Tom Daley (16/1).

“Tameka Empson (12/1) attracted two votes, largely driven by Mark Bonnar’s strong suspicions, while Tom Daley (16/1) received one vote from Niko. Joe Wilkinson has also expressed doubts about Tom and is yet to vote, which could shift things further. With the group still split, the first banishment remains wide open.”

So after week one, it’s definitely not looking good for Kate Garraway.
