Accordingly, Kanye West’s company Ox Paha Inc. has filed an application to register a trademark for the phrase “Wife by Husband” for printed books, in the categories of biography, non-fiction and picture books.

This move was made on January 24, just a few days after the bold “naked” scene took place. It is still unclear what the rapper will write about or whether the book will be a collection of photos, but the meaning of the trademark and the time of registration have led many people to make connections between the two events.

However, this is not the first time the rapper has ventured into the publishing industry. He previously conceived and released a photo book Selfish by his ex-wife – Kim Kardashian. This is a publication consisting of 448 pages of selfies of the reality TV star over the years.

In response to this action, many viewers called the rapper’s actions “disgusting” and “both took every opportunity to become the center of attention”.

After leaving the 2025 Grammy Awards, Kanye West also caused a stir on social media when he tweeted that thanks to the recent incident, his wife had become “the most searched woman on Google on the planet called Earth”. This incident topped Google’s search trends within 24 hours with more than 5 million searches.

West and Censori, who married in December 2022, have sparked outrage around the world with their revealing outfits. Bianca doesn’t use social media, but Kanye regularly shares “skimpy” photos of his wife that he considers “artistic.”

This isn’t the first time Kanye West’s company has filed for such bizarre trademarks. Last month, a source said the rapper filed for a trademark for the phrase: “I miss you when I wake up before you.” It was an Instagram caption that Kanye West posted to wish Bianca a happy birthday. It has been filed for everything from moisturizers to toys.

According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) website, Ox Paha has filed for 232 trademarks, and while some are fairly standard, others are more unusual. For example, the names have only slight variations: “Villadome”, “Drome”, “Villadrome”, “Villadram”, “Droam”, “Villadroam” and “Villadraom”
