Ruby revealed that she isn’t sure Steph (Georgia Jay) is her husband Caleb Miligan’s (Will Ash) daughter.
Chas was left stunned by her revelation.
An emotional Ruby explained she was just a “kid” when she fell pregnant Steph.
She also admitted that she “didn’t have a choice” and was “forced” to have sex, indicating she was raped.
A concerned Chas urged Ruby to report the assault and get justice.
But Ruby wanted to forget it ever happened and begged Chas to keep quiet about it.
Chas agreed to keep her secret, then asked if her abuser was someone she knew.
Ruby hesitated, then replied: “It was just some lad I knew.”
However, her hesitation suggests it could be someone closer to home. Could it be someone in the Dales?
Chas encouraged her to find out the truth about who Steph’s real dad is for her own peace of mind.
Emmerdale reveals Ruby Fox-Miligan’s harrowing past in haunting flashback scenes
Later, Ruby ordered a DNA test on her phone.
Will the truth destroy her marriage to Caleb, or can they find a way to move forward?
Ruby Fox-Miligan (née Fox) is the wife of Caleb Miligan and the mother of Steph and Nicky Miligan.
She was born into a well off family at some point in the mid-1970s.
As a teenager, Ruby embarked on a relationship with Caleb, who grew up in the care system.
But Ruby’s family disapproved of their relationship and they forced Ruby to chose between them or Caleb.
Ruby choose Caleb and the couple married on 9th April 1996 and had a son named Nicky in September 2000 who they raised in Newcastle.
However, Ruby and Caleb’s marriage was marred by cheating – Caleb even cheated on Ruby the day after they got married – and by 2023 the couple were living apart.
There is little we know about Steph, except that she was born on 1st January 1993.
