Eric Braeden of The Young and the Restless fame recently opened up about giving in to temptation during a recent social media post. Various fans have been sharing their own responses to the story. In fact, one of Braeden’s former co-stars also weighed in on the post.

The Young and the Restless‘ Eric Braeden Recently Shared A Question With Fans

Braeden is best known for playing Victor Newman on The Young and the Restless. He first joined the soap in 1980.

While originally meant to last a few months on the show, Braeden proved popular, lasting on the soap for ensuing decades. He is also known for appearing in various other film and television roles, such as playing John Jacob Astor IV in the 1997 blockbuster, Titanic.

In addition, Braeden has often kept fans updated about his life on social media. Taking to Instagram, the soap star shared a recent moment where he gave in to temptation. More specifically, he gave in to his sweet tooth, as seen in a photo of him enjoying an ice cream cone.

In the background, a poster could be seen for Van Leeuwens. As noted by their website, this ice cream brand has shops all throughout the United States, including locations in New York, New Jersey, and California.

In a caption, Braeden wrote, “I couldn’t resist and should I take some home to Nikki, too?” He then asked fans, “What flavor would she like?”

Presumably in-character as Victor Newman, Braeden was likely referring to his character’s love-interest and spouse, Nikki Newman. Together, the two make up one of the soap’s more prominent supercouples. Braeden even tagged Nikki’s actress, Melody Thomas Scott.

A Few Fans Also Noted How Timely The Post Had Been

Taking to the comments, many fans responded to Braeden’s inquiry. In fact, one of his former co-stars from The Young and the Restless gave a response. Doug Davidson, who is known for playing Paul Williams, chimed in: “Any and all!! It’s the best!!!”
