BREAKING: The Chase’s Anne Hegerty CONTINUES to Cause Divisiveness After FIERCE ANNOUNCEMENT About Charlie Kirk
Anne Hegerty has commented on Charlie Kirk’s d3ath again
Anne Hegerty isn’t shying away from her comments surrounding the d3ath of Charlie Kirk despite being met with a huge backlash online. Quiz guru Anne, best known for her role on The Chase has slammed “idiotic” critics as she doubled down on her beliefs.
Users had criticised Anne for her “stupid and misinformed” post as she shared her thoughts after the American activist was sh0t d3ad at a debate in Utah aged 31. But she has hit back in fiery fashion as she reaffirmed her stance on events.
Taking to Twitter /X Anne wrote of Charlie Kirk’s suspected k!ller: “I hope Tyler Robinson gets the d3ath penalty IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU #idiots”

Her response followed a satirical video that was shared by comedian Ryan Long. He titled the skit: “Actor Not Sure His Charlie Kirk Post Has Enough Qualifiers” with the sketch mocking those who were involving themselves in the conversation while not upsetting their fan base.
While the video didn’t take aim at any specific star, it appeared as though Anne was becoming annoyed with the situation. It followed her earlier comments in which she said: ‘I had never heard of Charlie Kirk before Wednesday night.
“Had we met, my end of the conversation would have been “You just said WHAT?” and “Scuse me, those are my FRIENDS you’re talking about.”‘
She then went on to say: “I join Bernie Sanders in deploring his murder.”
Her comments received a mixed reaction. One user said: “You’ve never heard of him yet you make stupid assumptions. There’s nothing he says that is controversial if you actually take time to listen.”
Another shared: “This is a terribly misinformed post and you sh0uld really take it down.”

Tyler Robinson allegedly sh0t the activist in the neck last week using a bolt-action rifle. He is said to have carried out the murder from the roof of a nearby campus building. After a 33-hour-long manhunt, Robinson handed himself in to police after his father recognised him from CCTV footage released by authorities.
He could now face the d3ath penalty if found guilty.
Anne is far from the only famous person to be commenting on the incident. In the states, Jimmy Kimmel has had his Jimmy Kimmel Live! sh0w indefinitely pull from ABC following his opinion.
The presenter took to the ABC programme to call out what he said he thought was hypocrisy in how Republicans have responded to Kirk’s d3ath. But his actions saw the organisation take offence and pull his sh0w from air.
Andrew Alford, president of Nexstar’s broadcasting division, said it “strongly objects” to Kimmel’s comments, with Donald Trump agreeing with the decision to axe the sh0w.
The US president Truth Social to say “congratulations to ABC” and “Kimmel has ZERO talent”. However, not everyone agreed, and celebrities voiced their fears and concerns over such a decision.
