Where is Dylan Dreyer today?

On October 1, 2022, Dylan Dreyer posted an update to her fans on social media.

In an Instagram post, she revealed that she went on a family vacation to Italy.

Dylan’s posts document her and her family’s trip between Tuscany and Rome.

The TODAY co-host told her followers: “A family trip to Rome turned out to be a great idea!”

The getaway was in celebration of her and her husband Brian Fichera’s 10-year anniversary.

Dylan’s family was also commemorating her son Russell’s first birthday, as well as Brian’s parents’ birthdays and 50-year wedding anniversary.

Prior to her family’s vacation and absence from TODAY, Dylan did a round of public appearances in promotion of her children’s book Misty the Cloud: Friends Through Rain or Shine.

The aforementioned project is the second book in her Misty the Cloud series and was released on September 13, 2022.

What happened to Dylan?

Months earlier on Saturday, January 29, Dylan shared that she was making the move to TODAY’s weekday broadcast in lieu of her then-usual seat on the weekend broadcast.

The weather lady shared with the audience: “It’s really bittersweet to step away and I wanted to thank everyone at Weekend Today who gave me a chance on this show.

“It’s all about family time. This job can get crazy especially when we’re traveling and we’re busy, but it’s so important to make time for family, too.

“These boys are my whole life and Brian and I, we love being a team on weekends and spending as much time as we can with them and having as much fun as we can.”

The switcheroo was announced just five days after she returned to the morning program on Monday, January 24.

For four months, Dylan was nowhere to be found on the show due to her taking maternity leave.

On September 29, 2021, she and Brian welcomed their third child together, a son named Russell.

The pair are also parents to their two older sons Calvin and Oliver.
