Jamie Lee Curtis has weighed in on a surprise romance that appears to be blooming in Hollywood.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, rumor has it that Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson have become a bit of an item after appearing quite cosy with each other behind the scenes.
The pair is currently on a press tour to promote their new movie, The Naked Gun, in which their characters, detective Frank Drebin Jr and Beth Davenport, end up romantically entangled.
While both Neeson and Anderson are veteran professional actors, they have both been praised for their realistic on-screen chemistry – which includes a rather steamy s3x scene.
While the Love Actually star ruled out ever dating again after the sudden death of his wife, Natasha Richardson, in a skiing accident in 2009, telling People in October last year that he was ‘past all that’, fans believe a romance is well and truly blooming between the pair off-camera.

Speculation initially sparked after eagle-eyed viewers noticed Neeson and Anderson seemingly sharing a kiss during the premiere of the movie. TODAY show host Craig Melvin attempted to get to the bottom of it by just asking them directly if they were an ‘item’, and their response just left people confused.
And the rumors were fuelled further by a post shared by Anderson on Instagram of her and Neeson to promote the film, which showed the Schindler’s List star raining popcorn over her head while she laughs.
Now, 66-year-old ‘scream queen’ Curtis, who worked alongside Anderson in The Last Showgirl has weighed in on the situation with a few choice words.
Speaking to VT, the Freakier Friday actress said simply: “With all due respect to pop culture, if love has found their way into that relationship, God bless them both!”
“Leave them the f*** alone,” Curtis added. “And let them like each other because both of them have had hardship and they’re both beautiful humans – it makes me cry.”

Visibly moved and fighting back tears, Curtis continued: “They’re beautiful human beings and if they actually have found an intimate love with each other, we should all go to bed tonight feeling better.”
Friends and family of the stars have been notably tight-lipped about the situation, with Richardson’s sister Joely, only dropping several red heart emojis under the picture, while his son, Daniel Jack Neeson, similarly commented a series of emojis including fire, hearts and a water pistol.
The Baywatch alum’s son Brandon Thomas Lee also told Access Hollywood very little other than the duo are ‘having a great time’, adding: “It’s fun to see them be, you know, good castmates [and] have a good time.”
Despite the silence from their nearest and dearest, a source told PEOPLE that the alleged couple are ‘smitten with each other’ – made all the more convincing when they sent fans into a frenzy for their heavily affectionate appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Sunday (August 3).
During the episode, Cohen said: “All your friends are very much ‘stanning’ this relationship, as the kids say. Right, Danny?” to which Neeson’s son replied, “Yes!” from the audience.

Taken star Neeson wed Richardson in 1994 and they remained married up until the actress’ untimely passing in 2009.
The Parent Trap favorite died in a skiing accident at the age of 45, leaving behind Neeson and their two sons, Micheál and Daniel. Neeson reportedly hasn’t dated since his wife’s devastating death 16 years ago — until now.
He’s rumoured to now be seeing his Naked Gun co-star Pamela Anderson, a union that’s understandably sent the internet on fire.
“Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson being a couple in 2025 really wasn’t in my plans but I love it very much,” one person penned on Twitter.

“Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson dating is probably the best news of 2025,” said another.
“I am so rooting for them,” added a third. “After losing his wife tragically 16 years ago now, Liam is back in the saddle and with none other than the gorgeous and finely aged Pamela Anderson. These two would never have crossed my mind and lived in two separate worlds. This is my kind of love story.”
And Anderson and Neeson’s fans aren’t the only ones rooting for them — Andy Cohen is too.

Speaking on his SiriusXM show, Cohen said: “Natasha was a dear friend of mine and I’m gonna tell you something: I and all of the friends in this circle are very much stanning whatever this is.”
Cohen went on to share what he said to Neeson at a Naked Gun premiere party he recently attended.
He recalled: “I go, ‘Liam, she is an independent woman, just like Tash was. She loves to cook. She has her own thing going on. She has two boys. I mean, this just works, and you know, she is a formidable human being, Pamela Anderson. She really is.'”
Cohen also spoke of how Anderson has ‘reclaimed and redefined herself’.

Neeson himself has echoed similar sentiments about his co-star, even going as far as saying that he was ‘madly in love’ with her.
“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” he told PEOPLE last year.
“I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”

People have been praising the sister of Natasha Richardson, Liam Neeson’s late wife, after she commented on a snap of him and Pamela Anderson.
Neeson takes on the leading role in the latest Naked Gun film, but while the comedy seems to have done well in its opening weekend, fans are a little more focused on something else.
Pamela Anderson also stars in the film and together with Neeson the pair have been promoting the flick, which sparked questions of a budding relationship.
This has also been bolstered by the fact that somewhere along the film, their two characters become romantically involved and the actors’ chemistry has been so good people are insisting the pair must be a couple in real life too.
In a new Instagram post from Anderson promoting the film, fans continued to insist the pair make a cute couple as they looked to be getting cosy with each other.
She captioned the image of her and Neeson: “The Naked Gun is finally in theatres! Bring your friends, family, lovers… whoever… just go and have a laugh… it’s good for you! I’ll see you there.”

Neeson tragically lost his first wife Natasha back in 2009 after sustaining a head injury in a skiing accident, and her sister, Joely Richardson, has seemingly shown her support for the potential new romance.
On the post, Joely simply commented seven heart emojis.
The pair haven’t exactly given fans a clear cut answer about their relationship, however, and this has made fans even more curious.
TODAY show host Craig Melvin decided to ask Anderson and Neeson about it when they appeared on the show on July 31 and Neeson’s answer left fans with even more questions.
Melvin said: “What’s the deal here? You’re both single right now. There’s clearly chemistry on display throughout this film. Are you two an item?”

Neeson initially showed shock as he responded: “Craig!”, while Anderson said: “What? I don’t understand the question.”
They did go on to offer a few more details, but their answer unfortunately wasn’t quite as straightforward as fans might have hoped.
Neeson said: “I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry — as two actors.
“It’s like, ‘Oh, this is nice. Let’s not mold this. Let’s just let it breathe. And that’s what we did.”
So people will likely have to speculate for a little while longer until the pair confirm.
Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson have apparently developed quite a close bond recently.
The Canadian-American actress has been promoting her latest movie, The Last Showgirl, which comes out tomorrow (Friday, January 10), but has also been pretty vocal about her admiration for Neeson after the pair bonded on the set of another movie.
The 72-year-old stars alongside Anderson in the upcoming reboot of the much-loved Leslie Nielsen comedy The Naked Gun.
Neeson plays Drebin Jr., the son of Nielsen’s character, Frank Drebin, in the original movies, released in 1988, 1991 and 1994.

The crime comedy film is officially the fourth flick in The Naked Gun franchise, with Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, Danny Huston, Liza Koshy, Cody Rhodes, CCH Pounder, and Busta Rhymes all featuring in the new sequel some 30 years after the last movie hit our screens.
With director, Akiva Schaffer at the helm, filming for the movie kicked off in early 2024, and it appears Anderson and Neeson have plenty of praise to share about one another.
Speaking on the late night talk show with host Seth Meyers on Wednesday (8 January), Anderson said filming for the comedy was ‘so fun’ and is ‘so different’ than The Last Showgirl.
The 57-year-old said: “It’s a, you know, high comedy. I’m literally running into walls which I’ve always wanted to do.”

But about Neeson, she remarked the Taken star is ‘such a gentleman’, adding he is ‘such a sweetheart, such a love’.
However, she revealed she was nervous to meet her co-star ahead of filming.
“I was also afraid to meet Liam, but Liam is also just a wonderful, generous person,” she gushed.
And when talking about the punchlines in the film, she said Neeson is a natural with jokes.
“Liam is hysterical. I mean he’s just a… you’re not going to see it coming. That’s how good he is.”
“We just, we had a great connection,” she continued to Seth Meyers before praising Schaffer as a ‘wonderful director’.

Her praise of Neeson come as he ‘confessed’ to People Magazine he was ‘in love’ with the Baywatch star.
The Hollywood co-star said: “With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with.
“I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with.
“She’s going to be terrific in the film.”
The Naked Gun is scheduled to come to US movie theatres as of August 1 this year.
Anderson’s comments also come after it was announced her iconic red swimsuit worn in Baywatch will be featured in an exhibit in London later this year.
Speaking about the exhibit, Anderson said: “I heard that but I thought I had the only original suit in my safe.
“And then someone said they got it from David Hasselhoff and I don’t know why he would have my swimsuit. I don’t have his shorts or anything.”

Pamela Anderson has given a rare insight into her relationship with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.
Anderson was married to the Mötley Crüe drummer between 1995 – 1998 and, over the course of their relationship, they welcomed two sons.
Their kids – Brandon, 28, and 27-year-old Dylan – are thought to be the main reason that the Baywatch star and her ex keep in touch with one another, but apparently things haven’t been too amicable between the celebrity pair of late.

Last year, Dylan got engaged to his long-time girlfriend, something Anderson said she was ‘so happy’ about.
On his Instagram post announcing his joyful news, the proud mom wrote at the time: “I’m so happy for you guys!!! You are meant for each other… I love you both, congratulations!”
Now, in a recent conversation with Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM radio show, she mentioned Dylan’s engagement after being asked about how things are between her and Lee.
“We used to talk a lot more,” she shared. “Not recently unfortunately, but, you know. I wish we did have a better rapport.”

Anderson went on: “You know what, my youngest son is engaged and we’re going to have grandkids together, so…”
She added that things between them will be OK ‘eventually’, and that it’s ‘just kind of a moment right now’.
UNILAD has approached Lee’s rep for comment.
While Anderson’s not on the best of terms with Lee right now, someone she does supposedly have a ‘great connection’ with is Taken star, Liam Neeson.
The two are starring alongside one another in The Naked Gun reboot that’s set to be released later this year.
Before shooting the movie, Anderson admitted that she was nervous to meet Neeson.
“I was also afraid to meet Liam,” the 57-year-old told Seth Meyers. “But Liam is also just a wonderful, generous person.”
