DISGUSTING: A Place In The Sun’s Jean Johansson makes a STRONG STATEMENT after a guest abruptly ended her property tour with WITHERING SWIPE

In a repeat episode of the hit Channel 4 show, Jean, 43, was on a mission to match Katie with her ideal holiday retreat in Paphos, Cyprus.
Fitness instructor Katie was looking for a seaside property with an expansive ocean view that would allow her to escape the British winter and take refuge in gentler climes.

The mother-of-five had set a budget of £83,000, and brought along her son Michael, 37, to accompany her to viewings and give his input.
Expert Jean had lined up viewings for five breathtaking properties, and they were off to a strong start when Katie described the first home as ‘gorgeous’.
Well within her budget at £77,000, the property featured one bedroom, shared swimming facilities and a view of the Mediterranean Sea – but

Moving past a second property, they arrived at the third home on the list, but it appeared to disappoint Katie and Michael.
Jean said: ‘You’re both so quiet, please talk to me,’ to which Katie replied: ‘It’s nothing as nice as the last couple of properties.’
The mother and son duo were hesitant to even look at the third home, but Jean insisted that they evaluate all of their options.
When entering the house, which was beyond their budget, Michael remarked: ‘It’s not the same as the others, the view and the outside. If she was going to go above the budget then you’ve gotta be like ‘wow’.’
Jean asked: ‘Does this place have enough for you to spend that money?’ To which Katie curtly responded: ‘No’, which was echoed by Michael.
‘Is there a point in me showing you the rest?’ Jane asked, and Katie admitted: ‘Not really no.’
‘You’re that sure?’ asked Jean, in a last-ditch attempt, before Katie concluded: ‘Yes, yes there is no point’ and the viewings were cut short.
In the end Katie put in an offer for £70,000 on the first apartment and it was accepted.

Jean had lined up five properties to view, but Katie and Michael abruptly ended the tour on the third home
But Katie and Michael are not the first would-be buyers to draw a viewing to an abrupt close.
A Place In The Sun host Ben Hillman was left ‘shocked’ after a couple walked out of a property tour with a cutting six-word swipe.
In a previous episode, the property expert was on a mission to help Ian and Emily find their family friendly holiday home in Mallorca, Spain.
The pair, who share three kids, had a budget of £440,000 and were very interested to buy in the town of Pollença, which is in east Mallorca.
Ian and Emily explained that they need three bedrooms, space for a car and potentially a communal pool.
Unlucky for Ben, the first two properties didn’t tick all their boxes, so the interior designer took them to a £358k four-bedroom townhouse in Old Town Pollensa.
At first glance, Emily described it as ‘lovely’ and ‘gorgeous’.
She said: ‘They are appealing from the outside, except you don’t know what is inside. I’m intrigued.’

The couple told Ben it wouldn’t be worthwhile to continue the tour, and headed off to their next property
But the interior disappointed the pair. While Ian said it had ‘baked-in character’, Emily brutally confessed: ‘It’s not doing it for me.’
Ben replied: ‘Oh no, really?,’ to which Emily continued: ‘Sorry, it feels like the basement of that other place. It’s dark.
‘I kind of thought we might come in and there’d be a light well of a courtyard or garden. And it’s the complete opposite of what I thought I might see.’
The couple told him that it wouldn’t be worthwhile to continue the tour, and headed off to their next property.
