Social media star Baby Gronk has received an official scholarship offer.
The 12-year-old, whose real name is Madden San Miguel, has proven a hit on social media platforms, boasting over 600,000 followers on Instagram.
BG’s team has previously claimed that he received offers from some of the biggest football programs in the country. However, they aren’t believed to have been real… until now.
According to MaxPreps, the pre-teen has gotten an official scholarship offer from the Delaware State Hornets.
The Division I program is headed by former NFL wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who was hired last December after retiring from the NFL in 2023.
Jackson, a three-time Pro Bowler who still holds league receiving records, is one of two former NFL stars to get head coaching jobs at the FCS level, with former quarterback Michael Vick now at Norfolk State.
MaxPreps notes that the ex-wideout has made a verbal offer to Baby Gronk, who, despite the way some folks feel about his father, has plenty of eyes on him.
“Baby Gronk has received a verbal offer by coach DeSean Jackson at D1 FCS Delaware State 👀⭐️,” the account reported.
Baby Gronk’s Scholarship Offer Should’t Carry Much Weight

Verbal scholarship offers made to kids who haven’t reached high school don’t carry much weight, but it appears Jackson wanted to make a statement.
As for BG, he will be happy to have what should be his first genuine scholarship offer after “committing” to several programs and then “flipping” to others for most of last year.
Madden has a long time to go before becoming eligible for college, and who knows? Jackson might not even be around by the time he’s old enough. But it’s certainly a good start.
