Good Morning Britain interrupted as Richard Madeley unexpectedly walks out of ITV studio

Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley were back to front Good Morning Britain on Tuesday.

Richard Madeley unexpectedly left the Good Morning Britain studio on Tuesday.

During the weather segment, Richard went outside as he wanted to see if it was snowing – and much to his delight, it was.

As he returned to the studio, Susanna Reid said: “Richard, are you reporting from the scene?”

“It is absolutely tipping down with snow outside; it has just started about five minutes ago after you first spoke…nothing, and suddenly it has happened,” Richard beamed.

“We will show you the pictures in a minute, it is really heavy.”

Susanna chipped in: “Can I recommend that next time you go out with a coat.”

The host laughed as Richard continued: “This is live television, Susanna, every minute counts, there was no time to put a coat on. I suffer for the news.”

Following the unexpected moment, fans took to social media to share their own videos and pictures of snow in their areas.

“Snowing where I live as well now after a night of heavy rain,” one viewer wrote.

“We have snow in Hertfordshire and it’s settling,” another shared while a third added: “Snowing in Billericay, Essex.”

Elsewhere in the show, Richard left Susanna with her head in her hands after he “broke” Ofcom rules. The moment unfolded as they were discussing Ed Sheeran’s recent admission regarding the upcoming 40th anniversary re-release of Band Aid.

The singer, who appeared on the charity single in 2014, has confessed he would’ve declined to have his vocals used for the track.

With Sir Bob Geldof speaking out about the backlash, Susanna told ITV viewers he hasn’t held back when sharing his thoughts on the matter.

“He’s been very trenchant, we can’t repeat them but he’s basically said, ‘if this is patronising colonial my backside’. Except he didn’t say backside, it rhymes with farts,” Richard stated.

Clearly taken aback by her co-star’s strong words, Susanna burst out laughing and put her head into her hands.

She replied: “I’m not sure we avoided the Ofcom ruling on that one!”

The 64-year-old presenter is heading Down Under to be a surprise addition to the I’m A Celeb camp following her shock split from her husband, Eamonn Holmes. But she won’t be taking part in trials on the reality show, as Ruth will simply be there in a supporting role.

Before being flown to Australia, Ruth was all smiles as she left swanky restaurant “34 Mayfair” in London with her close friend, Lizzie Cundy. The Loose Women star wore an elegant all-black outfit with trousers, a top and a jacket.

She paired it with a silver bag and silver heels. Her friend Lizzie was seen walking behind her, wearing a red short paired with red knee-high boots. While in Australia, Ruth will be cheering on her Loose Women co-star Jane Moore, 62, who is one of the 2024 contestants.

Ruth and Jane have both been starts on the ITV lunchtime talk show since 1999 – a fact Jane has hoped will give her an advantage in the jungle. After being confirmed as one of the contestants, she said in a pre-show interview: “I will fill the hours with good chat. I find people really interesting and I want to have organic conversations. I won’t be like, ‘Tell me about the time…’ but I will be asking questions just because I am interested. I hope they (my fellow campmates) don’t get offended!”

The presenter is tipped to appear on the new I’m A Celeb companion series, I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked which will be hosted by Joel Dommett, Kemi Rodgers and Sam Thompson. And she will be in the wings to support Jane during her time in the jungle – which she is said to be hoping will be a welcome distraction from her marriage meltdown.

A source told The Sun: “It’s been a tough year for Ruth and she’s been putting her best foot forward, she’s thrilled to have been asked to appear on this the spin off show and fly to Australia ahead of Christmas. She’s rooting for Jane and can’t wait to give her opinion on how she is getting on.” The source added: “The production team are particularly excited they have landed Ruth to join them as they think she’ll be amazing and give the new format a boost.”

Fans of Ruth were shocked earlier this year when it was announced her marriage to Eamonn, 64, had come to an abrupt end after 14 years – while their romance stretched back to 1996. They confirmed their split through a representative, who said back in May: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”

Before entering the jungle, Jane said her “mum” skills will also come into play after as well as her interviewing skills. She declared: “I have been on this planet a long time and I will be the person who will try to help them out. My two daughters are really up for me doing it and my youngest one keeps telling me: ‘Mum, it is going to be amazing’. If there is someone young in there struggling, I know it will appeal to my maternal side. But cooking you will not find me putting myself forward for. I am not a good cook, I am rubbish. I know the food is going to taste pretty insipid too.”

‘I AM A BEGINNER’: Strictly’s Amber Davies hits back at trolls amid West End row

Strictly Come Dancing was thrown into a ‘fix’ controversy after injured Dani Dyer was replaced by West End performer Amber Davies. However, Amber has stressed that while she may have stage experience, she’s still a beginner when it comes to ballroom dancing.

“I feel like I know they will be like, ‘She’s trained’,” she said, pre-empting complaints she has an unfair advantage. “Yes, I did train in musical theatre, however, I am a beginner when it comes to ballroom Latin dancing. So I feel like I will be starting from scratch. I mean, I’ll give it my all.” She pleaded: “Please vote for me. Please, I beg.”

Amber Davies joined Strictly Come Dancing

The Love Island star and theatre actress stepped in for Dani when she was forced to pull out of the competition due to a fractured ankle she suffered during rehearsals, the Mirror reports.

Since then she has faced accusations of being miles ahead of the other contestants due to her dance experience. This follows comments from Camilla Kerslake, wife of rugby star Chris Robshaw, who criticised the calibre of celebrities participating this year.

Earlier this week, reports revealed that West End performer Amber Davies had previously met with BBC executives about joining Strictly, but was told her dance experience was too extensive.

A graduate of a performing arts college with a professional diploma in musical theatre, Amber was called in at the last minute to replace Dani and took to the dance floor two days later alongside professional partner Nikita Kuzmin over the weekend.

Speaking on her podcast, Call To Stage, Amber recalled the phone call from her agent regarding joining the show. She explained: “It’s 9.30, I see him pop up on my phone and I’m like, ‘What the hell is going on?’ And he’s like, ‘Hi, Amber, are you available for a meeting tomorrow at 10 in the morning?’ He said to potentially replace Dani Dyer on Strictly. I said, excuse me? I said, pardon? I said, please repeat that.”

Reflecting on a recent moment of uncertainty about turning 30, 28-year-old Amber said the show has arrived at the perfect time.

“I just feel like this, the whole Strictly thing, like going into my last year of my 20s doing Strictly Come Dancing would be f**king iconic. I had a full on wobble, and I was like, I was just thinking about of all my 20s and like winning Love Island at 20 years old,” she stated.

It has been a wild couple of weeks for Amber, who announced last week she was playing the role of Elle in Legally Blonde The Musical.

“I honestly think I have some amazing angels up there who are pulling all the right strings. I’ve worked my a*** off and I feel like it’s like being rewarded in some way, you know?”

Talking about her Broadway dreams, Amber says she’s one step closer to making them a reality. She revealed: “My American Visa, we’ve got to update them on that. We are in the process of getting me one. I mean, what’s really good with that is that I can actually then get myself US representation and maybe my freaking Broadway dreams will come true.”

Strictly star Katya Jones hits back at judges’ criticism of Lewis Cope following viewer backlash

Katya and Lewis placed second on the leaderboard but came under fire from the judges

Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones has defended the judges’ criticism of her dance partner Lewis Cope.

On Saturday night (October 4), the couple performed a Viennese waltz to Teddy Swims’ Lose Control and found themselves second on the leaderboard with a score of 27.

They managed to avoid the dreaded bottom two, despite viewers declaring him a “show off”. However, even with a high score, that didn’t stop the panel of judges from having strong opinions.

Anton Du Beke praised their dance for its “raw power”. That said, he said he would like to see a little more “refinement”.

Craig Revel Horwood also shared: “In this dance, you almost need to think like a swan… I felt your natural and reversed terms were a little bit up and down.”

Meanwhile, head judge Shirley Ballas insisted their performance was “too aggressive”.

On Monday night (October 6), the Russian dancer and former Emmerdale actor appeared on Strictly’s companion show It Takes Two. While speaking to host Janette Manrara, the pair discussed Saturday night.

On the dance itself, Lewis Cope said: “It was crazy in there, I wasn’t expecting it to blow up so much in terms of the atmosphere. I almost missed the beginning of the song. It was brilliant, I love that dance.”

‘There’s two sides to how I feel about it’

However, Katya addressed the judges’ comments, admitting she felt divided.

“I have been thinking about it a lot, genuinely. There’s two sides to how I feel about it. As a pro, I really would have loved for judges to vocalise what he did do,” she said, adding: “All the steps he spent hours and hours learning, they were there, every single Viennese Waltz Step including what he did on his own.

“On the other side, dancing is an art form. We put on this number together, the way we felt was right for us. In any art, there will be opinions of people who connect with it and those not so much.”

She continued: “We’re here to create what feels right and share it with people. Let the judges have their bit. Of course, technically, we’re still learning. It’s week two. We never compromise the dancing and that’s really important.”

This weekend (October 11), Strictly celebrates Movie Week, with the pair dancing a paso doble inspired by The Mask of Zorro.

A Legacy of Love: How Princess Catherine Became the Keeper of the Queen’s Most Precious Inheritance

Under the soft gleam of sapphires and diamonds once worn by Princess Diana, Princess Catherine stepped into history — not just as a royal consort, but as the woman now believed to carry the late Queen’s most personal legacy.

There was something almost poetic about the moment. The jewels shimmered not only with memory but with meaning — a visible link between three generations of royal women whose grace has defined an era.

And now, whispers within royal circles suggest that the Queen herself foresaw this moment. In what insiders describe as “a private expression of affection and trust,” Queen Elizabeth II was said to have left a selection of her most treasured heirlooms to Catherine, the woman she once called “the future of the monarchy.”

    💠 “The Queen’s Favorite”

For years, palace aides quietly observed the bond between the two women. Behind the grandeur of Buckingham and Windsor, there was mutual respect — the Queen admired Catherine’s quiet strength, her discipline, and her unwavering devotion to duty.

“She reminded Her Majesty of herself,” one courtier shared. “Calm under pressure, devoted to family, never seeking attention but commanding it effortlessly.”

By the time of the Queen’s passing, few were surprised when sources hinted that Kate was among those most personally remembered in the Queen’s private papers — not merely as a duchess or a princess, but as a confidante and a symbol of continuity.

💎 The Heirloom of the Heart

When Catherine appeared at the recent gala, adorned with the sapphire-and-diamond set once worn by Princess Diana — and rumored to be part of the Queen’s personal inheritance to her — it felt like destiny made visible.

It wasn’t about glamour. It was about grace continuing its quiet march through time.
In every sapphire’s glow, there was Diana’s spirit. In every diamond’s fire, there was the Queen’s wisdom.
And in the woman wearing them, there was the future — calm, confident, unshaken.

    💫 A Queen in Waiting

Those close to the Palace say the symbolism was deliberate. Catherine’s inheritance — both material and spiritual — signals more than just jewelry passing hands. It marks the silent acknowledgment of her place as the heart of the modern monarchy.

Social media called it “the moment the crown found its future.”
Royal historians called it “a bridge between the past and what lies ahead.”
But for millions watching, it was something simpler — a reminder that love, duty, and legacy can outshine even the brightest jewels.

Comedian Katherine Ryan’s husband, Bobby Kootstra, reflected on a gruesome injury he suffered after a jet-skiing on holiday left him with a torn-up groin. The 42-year-old opened up about the painful incident during the couple’s joint podcast, aptly titled, Telling Everybody Everything. Bobby explained that he was playing around with a child’s water jet ski with a friend during a trip to Canada when the incident that shaved some length off his nether regions occurred.

The Canadian native also declared to listeners that he had a micro penis, which averages at a length of less than 3.67 inches. The podcaster told Katherine: “Right away, I got pulled up and like, one leg drags because of the skis and the bad driving, and then I just felt a pop.” Bobby interjected: “There was like shrinkage, like in a cold pool, for a week, and I was like ‘alright, what is going on here? Why is it [my penis] so small?’”

During their discussion, Bobby went on to reveal that after much confusion, he opted to search the internet for answers.

He admitted: “I had to Google, ‘torn groin, small penis’. It does happen because of the injury and the muscles – it just kind of shrunk into itself.”

Although finding the answers did offer some reassurance, Bobby added: “I knew at least it was because of this that my penis is so ti:ny now.”

The couple, who have been married for six years and share three children, including Katherine’s daughter from a previous relationship, and are expecting their fourth child, to which the comic joked they had a “good run.”

“Micro penis, 42, with four kids, married to a woman who loves you…,” Katherine hilariously listed, as Bobby agreed: “I was thinking the same thing, I am like, ‘what do I even need a penis for now?’”

He continued: “With this micro penis thing, I’m just more thankful for the things I have in life… I was like, ‘okay yes, I have this micro penis, I also have a lovely family, a nice garden.’”

Katherine has previously opened up about her family dynamics and how Bobby and her daughter Violet, from a previous relationship, have such a close bond.

The comedian told the Daily Express: “Well Bobby’s just my favourite person so that makes it easy! But in all honesty, I think the key to every relationship is communication right?

“My daughter thinks we’re gross but we do make time for each other where we can, whether it be date night or having dinner on the sofa with our favourite show on when everyone’s in bed.”

BREAKING: Strictly’s Dianne Buswell hits boiling point as Motsi Mabuse comment sparks outrage

Motsi claimed the couple needed to rehearse more

Motsi Mabuse telling Dianne Buswell and Stefan Dennis to rehearse more was the “final straw,” according to a body language expert. The Strictly Come Dancing judge sparked controversy after suggesting that the pregnant professional and her celebrity partner needed to dedicate extra practice time following their performance on Saturday night’s show.

Dianne and Stefan, 66, who is the oldest contestant this year, performed a Cha Cha to Give It Up by KC and The Sunshine Band, receiving just 17 points from the judging panel. While Motsi praised the pair’s partnership, she pointed out several minor errors in their routine.

Neighbours star Stefan Dennis and Dianne Buswell on Strictly

When the audience erupted with boos, the 44-year-old said: “There were guys, sorry, let’s just be honest. Just let’s try next time to rehearse and stick to the routine.” Dianne, who is expecting her first child with Joe Sugg, quickly fired back: “I don’t know how much more we can rehearse, Motsi!”

However, Motsi only persisted: “Find a way, I don’t know, we have to get one performance without those tiny tiny creepers in there.”

Analysing Dianne’s body language during the interaction, Judi James noted that Motsi’s comment appeared to frustrate the 36-year-old, who responded with a strained smile and slumped posture, the Express reports.

Speaking exclusively to Paddy Power Games, the body language expert said: “Motsi’s comment ‘Try to rehearse’ looked like the last straw for Dianne, who performed an overkill smile that was more an angry baring of the teeth than an expression of pleasure, and collapsed from the waist in a gesture of exhaustion.

“When she straightened, she had one hand balled into a fist and placed on her hip in a gesture that can look aggressive or confrontational and there was a tongue-poke gesture to suggest she rejected the idea of not rehearsing. Dianne is a grafter and the comment appeared wounding.”

    Dianne and Stefan ON STRICTLY

The expert, continued: “It was Dianne’s body language during the results that suggested she was the one most expecting to be voted out this week. Her eye gaze was aimed in a reflective direction, and her closed lip smile was a ‘bravado’ smile.”

Motsi’s remark also sparked backlash from viewers, who took to social media to voice their frustrations. Taking to X, formally known as Twitter, one user wrote: “Such a horrible comment to make. That will make people think they haven’t put the time in.”

A second added: “I thought Strictly capped the amount of hours they could rehearse to 8 hours a day? So how can the judges be giving out comments like ‘you need to rehearse more’ when they’ve been doing their 8 hours a day… every day. They aren’t allowed.”

While a third user fumed: “I feel like telling the eldest contestant with the pregnant pro to rehearse more when they have been doing long days, and it’s clear it was because of nerves and not lack of rehearsal is an extremely unfair thing to say.”

‘SAY IT ISN’T TRUE!’ — Strictly Star Ellie Goldstein Breaks Silence After Shock Rumours She’s “Left” the Show… Heartbroken Fans Voice Their Disappointment.k

Strictly star Ellie Goldstein issues update following speculation she’s ‘left’ show

The contestant has quashed the whispers ahead of Strictly’s Movie Week

Ellie Goldstein is back in the training room despite widespread rumours that she’s left Strictly Come Dancing.

The model and actress, 23, has been captured on camera with pro partner Vito Coppola, 33, as they get to work for another week.

Ellie and Vito are ready to take on Movie Week and have already started perfecting their routine. The scenes will set fans’ minds at rest over fears Ellie Goldstein has left Strictly early.

In a video taken during training, Vito and Ellie have continued with their ongoing joke about “snacks”. During the past few weeks, Ellie has been teasing the Italian dancer by only ever sharing a tiny amount of her training room treats.

The new clip is no exception. Ellie can be seen giggling and handing over two chocolate buttons to Vito from a packet. He asks: “That’s it? Two?” Ellie shakes her head and gives her dance partner a third. Vito says: “And you?” Ellie holds the empty packet up at the camera and says: “I ate all the others.”

In a very sweet moment, Vito then tells Ellie they can share the buttons he has given her. He takes one and she takes two, with Vito saying: “Well done, sister.” Ellie puts her arms around Vito and replies: “Well done, brother.”

Why do Strictly fans think Ellie has left?

The rumours about Ellie leaving Strictly Come Dancing have come from fake social media posts circulating online. One shared on Facebook said: “SAD NEWS: Strictly’s Ellie Goldstein FORCED TO QUIT the show for a reason that left fans stunned!” It went on to falsely claim there is an “emotional truth” behind her reason for leaving.

Strictly fans were quick to share their disappointment in the comments section, unaware they had been duped.

The false claims about Ellie, who has Down syndrome, also come following a big change to Saturday’s live show. Viewers had previously expressed their concern in Week 1, as she had appeared teary while standing in the Clauditorium. During last Saturday’s show, however, Ellie was seemingly allowed to take a break from the upstairs area with host Claudia Winkleman.

One fan said on X: “I note that Ellie is being excused from the ensemble on the balcony as she needs. Good to see that accommodation being made for her.” Another added: “She looks so much more comfortable up there this week, hopefully taking the break away from everything helps.”

What are Ellie and Vito dancing to in Movie Week?

Ellie and Vito are yet to reveal what dance they will be performing in Strictly Come Dancing’s Movie Week. But they have announced the film their routine will be themed on.

During Sunday night’s Strictly: The Results show, Vito and Ellie revealed they are taking on The Barbie Movie. Ellie couldn’t hide her excitement, as she is a big fan of the film and Barbies in general.

In 2023, Ellie was even made an ambassador for the first Barbie with Down syndrome. Toy giant Mattel gave Ellie the honour and she helped to promote the doll in the UK. She told Claudia about her Barbie doll and said she “loves” the film. Vito added: “I cannot wait just to start! We are going to channel our Barbie energy.”

Last Saturday, Ellie and Vito performed a Waltz to Elton John’s Your Song. Ellie had butterflies in her hair and was wearing a beautiful, flowing dress. They scored a 23 points, which placed them 11th on the leaderboard.

Vito previously explained how he has adapted his training for Ellie, using pictures and cardboard cut outs of the judges. We can’t wait to see what they bring to the ballroom this week!

GMB’s Ed Balls furiously grills Kemi Badenoch on Robert Jenrick in chaotic interview

Kemi Badenoch had somewhat of a chaotic interview on Tuesday’s Good Morning Britain from hosts Ed Balls and Susanna Reid as she addressed important issues on the ITV show

Good Morning Britain’s Ed Balls pointedly grilled Kemi Badenoch over Robert Jenrick’s recent ‘white face’ remarks after the politician turned up late to the interview, asking her: “Are you in charge?”

The Conservative leader, 45, joined Susanna Reid and Ed Balls via video link on the ITV programme, and things got off to a bumpy start.

She said: “Right now, we want people to get back to what we need to focus on. How do we get a stronger economy? I spoke in my speech about how we’re a multiracial country but we mustn’t become a multicultural company where people are moving into different parts of society, not having shared views.”

Ed replied: “Let me just ask you about this wider direction in policy. Your shadow home secretary is saying he wants to reintroduce stop and search by the police without them having any ground for suspicious activity. He’s just gonna tell the police they’ve got to do random stop and searches.

“You have the shadow justice secretary Robert Jenrick saying he wants to take ‘political control’ of sentencing away from the judges and this feels like an authoritarian lurch, I think in a reform direction. Are you in charge? Are you endorsing this?!”

She replied: “Of course! We’re going back to authentic conservatism.

“We tried the sentencing council and we’ve seen it do thing that it should not be doing. Earlier this year, it was putting out different sentencing for people based on their race and religion.

“That’s absolutely not right! We do need more stop and search, knife crime is getting out of control. We need more stop and search. I trust the police and I believe they will do a good job but if we want to look after young people’s safety then we need more safety.

“Do you know who tells me this more than anyone else? It’s ethnic minority parents. They are very worried about their children going out and getting hurt so that is why that is our policy!”

It all comes afer the Shadow Justice Secretary reportedly said it was not the kind of country he wanted to live in. After mentioning the lack of white people, he then went on to say it was not about “the colour of your skin or your faith” and he wanted people to live alongside each other.

But his comments, reported by the Guardian, have come under criticism from the area’s MP for suggesting he was assessing the number of white people he saw during a 90-minute period to decide whether Handsworth was “properly integrated”.

Mr Jenrick’s comments were reportedly recorded during a dinner at the Aldridge-Brownhills Conservative Association dinner in March.

According to the Guardian, he told the dinner: “I went to Handsworth in Birmingham the other day to do a video on litter and it was absolutely appalling. It’s as close as I’ve come to a slum in this country. But the other thing I noticed there was that it was one of the worst integrated places I’ve ever been to. In fact, in the hour and a half I was filming news there I didn’t see another white face.

“That’s not the kind of country I want to live in. I want to live in a country where people are properly integrated. It’s not about the colour of your skin or your faith, of course it isn’t. But I want people to be living alongside each other, not parallel lives. That’s not the right way we want to live as a country.”
