Jack Osbourne shares concern for mum Sharon following Ozzy’s death: ‘She’s not okay’

Sharon Osbourne’s son has opened up about her heartbreaking journey through grief

Jack Osbourne has spoken out about how his mum Sharon Osbourne is coping following the death of his father Ozzy earlier this year.

The Black Sabbath singer died in July aged 76 at his home in Buckinghamshire. Ozzy and Sharon, who were married for more than 40 years, planned to spend his retirement years at their countryside mansion.

Ozzy performed one last concert with his bandmates on July 5 at Villa Park, Birmingham, days before his death.

The beloved musician’s home city hosted a funeral cortege which passed by his childhood home and proceeded along Broad Street. Ozzy’s loved ones joined the procession, including Sharon, Jack and two of his daughters, Kelly, and Aimee.

Heartbreaking footage captured a visibly emotional Sharon viewing tributes left by fans. She was supported by her children as hundreds of mourners lining the streets looked on.

Sharon Osbourne is ‘not okay’ following Ozzy’s death

Now, Jack has shared an update on his mum, 72, as she grieves privately.

“You know, when people have been asking me that question, I say: ‘She’s okay, but she’s not okay,’” the 39 year old shared during an interview with Good Morning America to promote his late father’s memoir, Last Rites.

The father-of-four said that his mum can “feel the affection and appreciation” from fans, adding: “Oh my God, yeah. I know she feels the love.”

He continued: “None of us expected it to be like this, with that outpour of love. Every child sits there and kind of has this thought about one day that parents won’t be there, and what will that be like.

“It’s just a part of being human. We just didn’t think of it. It was a different weight to it, you know?”

    Sharon’s statement on Ozzy’s death

Sharon released an emotional statement in September, two months after the death of Ozzy. Taking to Instagram, the reality TV star said she was “finding her footing” again.

“I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media. Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed; in fact, it’s carried me through many nights,” Sharon added.

“I love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way.”

Katie Price has bought another dog – despite animal charities previously calling for a ban on her owning pets after a string of tragedies.

The former glamour model, 47, took to her Snapchat channel on Monday to share a video with the adorable pooch who she said ‘doesn’t leave her side’.

She has been condemned by animal charities over the years for owning pets after a series of deaths.

Last month, she sadly lost one kitten after her designer cat Doris gave birth, with one struggling to latch on to feed. This marked the eighth animal to die in her care.

This week, speaking to the camera in a Snapchat post she didn’t initially acknowledge the dog instead saying: ‘This filter is so needed today, I am so tired.’

However in another slide she explained: ‘And this little one just does not leave my side.

‘I can’t wait for him to meet Rookie, he’s met all of the other animals.

‘This is Rookie’s new little friend for when we go horse riding, walks, everything.’

A representative for Katie has been contacted by Daily Mail for comment.

She then posted the caption: ‘First time using a filter in ages.’

Katie bought Cocker Spaniel Rookie in February of this year and again many were concerned she was adding another pet to the family.

Katie welcomed Doris and two other bald cats into her home last October, despite calls from animal charities for her to be banned from owning pets.

At the time she hit back at those who criticised her for owning animals after charity PETA offered her £5,000 to stop keeping pets.

Katie, who also recently introduced  Rookie to her family, has always been an avid animal lover and has owned several pets over the years.

However, her treatment of animals has come under scrutiny after five dogs, a horse, and a chameleon all died while in her care – many of them in traffic accidents near her former home in Sussex.

Katie attributes these tragedies to ‘bad luck,’ with most occurring while she was away. She has since secured the garden of her new home to ensure her pets’ safety.

Responding to people who say she shouldn’t own animals, Katie previously told The Sun: ‘When people say I shouldn’t have animals, it’s circumstances that were out of my hands.

‘It’s no lack of me not looking after them or anything like that. I love animals, I love nurturing.’

After reports that Katie had given away her puppy Tank due to ‘losing interest,’ PETA penned an open letter to her in February 2024.

They offered her £5,000 if she signs a contract to not acquire another animal.

The new pet comes after last week Katie’s fans criticised her new single for its heavy use of auto-tune and difficulty understanding the lyrics.

The star has reignited her pop career with the release her latest single Best Of Me on Friday.

But the track, which also features rapper Lady Ice, has received a mixed reception from listeners with some likening it to something created by AI.

Taking to TikTok, fans wrote: ‘Haven’t worked out what she’s actually saying in this.’

‘You can’t really make her voice out. Anyone can make a song like this with all the special effects.’

‘Ok but what is she actually saying? I don’t understand a word’… ‘No real singing, all music tricks.’

‘My ears hurt real bad’… ‘AI is amazing’… ‘Career ending move right there.’

It wasn’t all bad news though as the song did receive a positive assessment from some of Katie’s fans.

They wrote: ‘So catchy’… ‘I love this song, Katie P is awesome’… ‘Good on her, she so deserves this moment.’

‘She’s had a lot of help here but hey it sounds OK. Well done Katie’… ‘Chill guys! She knows that she’s not a pop star, she’s just having fun.’

Katie told fans in early September she was recording a new song and shared a snap of herself in the studio.

The former Page 3 girl is trying for another music comeback after her 2017 track I Got U unexpectedly climbed up the iTunes chart to number one as well as ranking third in the Big Top 40.

Her 2019 dance banger Hurricane also reached number six in the iTunes chart, which she fondly celebrated with fans.

One of Katie’s horses was tragically struck and killed by a car on the A24 in November 2017, after escaping from its field.

She shared a photo of the car with its smashed up windscreen to her Instagram, writing: ‘Last night our friends horses including one of ours escaped from their field and ran onto the road we are devastated.

‘We are extremely upset to find out one of our horses was killed last night being hit by a car…

‘Thank god the driver of this car was very lucky and escaped and wish him well, police were amazing and so was the local community and thank them all!

‘Our friends other four horses thank god are alive with a couple of them injured and are still being treated by the vet and will be ok!’

    DOBBY AND HAGRID (2017)

Katie owned two Sphynx cats named Dobby and Hagrid after the characters from Harry Potter.

However, in December 2017 she said she was selling them for £1,300 each because her dogs didn’t get on with them.

She continued to post photos of the cats on Instagram until 2021, so it is unclear whether she sold them.

    QUEENIE (2018)

Katie was left ‘devastated’ after her German Shepherd, Queenie, was killed in a hit and run accident.

The dog was gifted to her on her 36th birthday by her now ex-husband Kieran Hayler.

In a since deleted Instagram post, Katie said Queenie was hit by a ‘heartless’ delivery driver who left the dog to die.

She wrote: ‘I’m absolutely devastated heartbroken my faithful loving family dogs life Queenie has been shortlived as she was killed by a heartless delivery driver who ran into our dog seeing her struggle and drove off without telling and left her to die.

‘Very disappointed a human being can be this heartless! Security cameras show this and we have reported to police! DEVASTATED is a understatement.’

    MARVIN (2018)

Katie has owned a string of different animals, and even had a pet chameleon named Marvin.

However, Marvin died in November 2018 with Katie allegedly claiming the lizard died ‘of a broken heart’ after her son Junior moved in with his dad Peter Andre.

A source close to the star told The Sun: ‘Marvin didn’t go with Junior when he moved in with his dad over the summer. And now Katie thinks that the reptile has died of a broken heart.’

But the insider added: ‘However, with all of her money troubles Katie has been unable to heat her mansion, and chameleons needs to be warm at all times.’

They also revealed she had wanted to keep the children’s pets at her house, as she hoped it would mean the kids would visit her more.

They said: ‘Katie is blaming Peter for Marvin’s death as she claims that he wouldn’t take Junior and Princess’s pets when they moved in with him.

‘But Katie didn’t want him to take them as she thought the children would visit her more if the pets stayed with her.

‘The whole family has been left devastated by Marvin’s death, but especially Junior – he is heartbroken.’

While a source close to Peter said: ‘He was never asked to look after it. It’s outrageous that she’s blaming him.’

    PEGGY (2019)

Katie sparked backlash from fans in February 2019, after gifting her daughter Princess with a pet hedgehog.

Fans slammed Katie for bringing the spikey mammal, named Peggy, into her home with her dogs, saying Peggy would be ‘terrified’.

In October of that year, Katie then lost Peggy for two weeks in her ‘Mucky Mansion’.

In a YouTube tour of her home, she admitted the hedgehog had gone missing somewhere in the house.

A source later revealed that she had since found Peggy again, saying: ‘Peggy is back – Katie always knew she’d find her again.’

    BEAR (2019)

Katie bought another Alsatian named Bear in November 2018 for £1,000, who is the half-sister of Sparkle.

However, she gave away the dog only six months later in April 2019 after he had three near death experiences in a matter of weeks.

Both Bear and Sparkle kept escaping from her house and were nearly run over several times.

In February 2019, Bear ran onto a busy dual carriageway but was luckily saved by a passerby who took him to a vet.

The following month, he escaped again and was rescued by a passing police officer near the A24.

Katie eventually rehomed Bear in April, with a source telling The Sun: ‘Bear kept getting out on the main road and Katie doesn’t want to risk him getting hurt or worse.

‘A breeder is going to have him neutered and find him a permanent loving home, and Katie will still have plenty of pets around to keep her company.’

    SPARKLE (2020)

Katie’s third Alsatian, Sparkle, tragically passed away in a very similar way to her late German shepherd Queenie.

The dog allegedly escaped from the star’s home and was hit by a car on the A24, near her ‘Mucky Mansion’, the same road that Bear was nearly run over on.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Katie said: ‘Hey guys, really f***ed off this morning. I’ve just woken up to realise that one of my dogs has been killed on the road.

‘I’ve just checked with the neighbours and everything seems to be how it was when they left the dogs so I don’t know how they escaped but yeah, one of my Alsatians has been hit and killed.

‘I was away last night with my PA and I left my neighbours to feed the dogs because that’s what they do when I’m not there.

She added: ‘Obviously something has happened in the night.’

    ROLO (2020)

Katie’s pet dog Rolo suffocated at her home after apparently getting trapped in an electric armchair.

Despite receiving CPR, the French bulldog – a gift for daughter Princess’s 13th birthday – could not be saved.

Katie told YouTube followers: ‘There was nothing they could do, but they did say he wouldn’t have died in pain, it was quick.’

The dog had only been with the family for a few weeks before its tragic death leading to anger from the public towards Katie and the breeders who sold her the puppy.

The breeders took to their Instagram to defend themselves, saying they had done ‘everything we possibly could’ to ensure Rolo went to a good home, including background checks and a home visit.

They wrote: ‘Rolo’s death was a tragic accident that had nothing at all to do with his health or @jrcbullies’.

Katie commented on the post, saying: ‘It’s nobody’s fault and something that happened tragically we are all devastated about so instead of pointing fingers think of how we are all feeling so respect us all.’

However, she later revealed she was illegally advised to give Rolo cannabis oil, after she was gifted the substance in a ‘puppy hamper’.

Rolo fell asleep under an electric chair after having the non-psychoactive cannabis derivative and later ‘suffocated’ after the family’s nanny sat on the chair.

Katie told the Mirror that a vet told her giving the puppy CBD oil may have encouraged him to seek out a cosy place to sleep, such as the chair.

A spokeswoman for Katie said: ‘Katie was told the oil was for dogs and safe. It was endorsed by the breeder. Katie will join forces with Peta and any other groups that need her to speak out.’

A source close to her added: ‘As awful as it sounds, this will bring some comfort to Katie in understanding why Rolo crawled into the space.

‘She feels let down too by a system that allows CBD oil to be marketed for pets despite it being illegal. Katie had backlash, hate mail, death threats and trolling over Rolo’s tragic passing. As a family, they continue to mourn.’

    PRECIOUS (2021)

Katie gave the family’s French Bulldog to a builder working on her Channel 4 show Mucky Mansion little more than a year after getting her.

The dog was a gift from her on-off fiancé Carl Woods, to celebrate their six month anniversary.

‘She’s a French bulldog called Precious – [my daughter] Princess came up with the name,’ Katie told The Sun.

‘It’s my six-month anniversary present from Carl. We might not have a baby, but this is our new baby together.’

CAPTAIN, BUDDY, COLIN AND BATMAN (2022)

Katie currently has four Chihuahuas named Captain, Buddy, Colin and Batman.

However in January 2022, fans feared for Buddy after she took him horse riding, by stuffing him down her jacket.

That same year, she was left ‘devastated’ and ‘in bits’ after losing Captain while on holiday in Dorset with Carl.

A source told The Sun: ‘Katie was in bits. She thought Captain would be fine off his lead as they were staying on a friend’s private property which was very secure but he managed to run off.’

They went on to tell the publication: ‘Katie was devastated thinking she has lost him for good, or that he might get run over.’

After eight hours of searching she then received a phone call to say Captain had been found after being taken to a local vet, where they were able to identify him via his microchip.

    SHARON (2022)

In November 2022, Katie’s beloved dog Sharon was killed when she allegedly escaped and ran onto the road where she was hit by a car.

The Pomeranian was picked up off the A24 by the driver of the vehicle and taken to to Arun Vets in Pulborough, West Sussex, where her death was confirmed.

A source close to Katie told The Sun that the tragic even was ‘rotten luck’ and claimed that Katie was ‘in bits’.

    BLADE (2023)

In June 2023, Katie confirmed the death of her protection dog Blade, who was also struck by a car near her West Sussex property.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: ‘Words can’t express the lost of my best friend my protector my absolutely everything who had sadly passed away today. I have no words to say how I’m feeling but numb and shocked rip Blade.’

She revealed that the RSPCA had visited her house after Blade’s death, but then claimed that someone had deliberately killed him.

Katie said: ‘Update – RSPCA have been up to my house not having any concerns about my animals and never had.

‘We are trying to put together how Blade has been killed and his last steps as this is a deliberate target to kill him.’

    TANK (2024)

Katie bought German Shepherd Tank a month after Blade’s death.

However, in August 2023 she was accused of hitting the puppy in a TikTok live as he sat on her clothes.

She could be heard yelling: ‘Get off! You’re sitting on my jumpers, my love, jumpers that I love. Get off. Jesus Christ… Anyway, as I was saying…’

As Tank moved out of shot, Katie could be seen raising her hand to the animal, with users claiming they heard a ‘loud smack’.

Then she gave Tank away, reportedly because he no longer ‘looks cute on Instagram’.

The Sun reported that the mother-of-five got rid of the dog after ‘losing interest’ in him because she needed to ‘train’ him.

    UNNAMED KITTEN (2025)

In August, Katie revealed to her fans she had some ‘sad news’ following the birth of her Sphynx cat Doris’ litter of kittens.

The former glamour model told how she has sadly lost one of the kittens, as the premature arrivals struggled to latch onto their mother to feed.

In the Snapchat clip, Katie told her followers she had lost one of the kittens, saying: ‘An update on the kittens, one unfortunately died.

‘I’m trying to help the kittens latch on to the mum, two are just about doing it but I’m having to put them on it, because they are so premature.

‘As you can see how knackered I am, every two and a half hours through the day and through the night I’m feeding them for the mum.

‘She’s a good mum, and then she keeps bringing one to the bed with her, she did that earlier, I think that was a sign to come and look in the box as one had died.’

Katie had been working around the clock to help her cat look after the kittens, even a missing a holiday to the Isle of Wight.

She welcomed Doris and two other bald cats into her home last October

Sky News host slaps down top Tory leaving him squirming over ‘white faces’ remark

Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick reacted angrily after being told his remarks about integration in Birmingham would be welcomed by the far-right

Tory Robert Jenrick lost his cool after being told his “white faces” remark could fuel the far right.

The Shadow Justice Secretary is under fire after a leaked recording revealed he told Conservative activists he did not see another white face in 90 minutes in Birmingham during a discussion on integration. He was asked to explain how he could tell if people were integrated into the UK based on the colour of their skin – while the Mayor the West Midlands has accused him of racism.

Mr Jenrick reacted angrily after being told his words “give support for groups on the far-right that don’t want to see brown and black people living in this country”. The under-fire Tory claimed the question was “disgraceful” during a furious exchange on Sky News.

Robert Jenrick reacted angrily during an interview on Sky News

Robert Jenrick reacted angrily during an interview on Sky News

Mr Jenrick was recorded describing Handsworth in Birmingham as “as close as I’ve come to a slum in this country” and said it was “one of the worst integrated places I’ve ever been to”. He then said: “In fact, in the hour and a half I was filming news there I didn’t see another white face.”

Host Kamali Melbourne asked him: “I wonder how you can judge that a person is integrated by the by the colour of their skin being there for for 90 minutes.”

Mr Jenrick responded: “Well, look, I was very clear that it’s not about the colour of your skin or your faith.” The presenter butted in: “You didn’t see any white faces and that it made you feel like it wasn’t integrated.”

The top Tory – who lost out to Kemi Badenoch in last year’s leadership race – went on: “The point I was making is we want all people to be living side by side.

What Mr Jenrick said in the leaked recording

“I went to Handsworth in Birmingham the other day to do a video on litter and it was absolutely appalling. It’s as close as I’ve come to a slum in this country. But the other thing I noticed there was that it was one of the worst integrated places I’ve ever been to. In fact, in the hour and a half I was filming news there I didn’t see another white face.

“That’s not the kind of country I want to live in. I want to live in a country where people are properly integrated. It’s not about the colour of your skin or your faith, of course it isn’t. But I want people to be living alongside each other, not parallel lives. That’s not the right way we want to live as a country.”

“We can’t have particular communities in this country where there’s a heavy preponderance of one group or another. We want people to be living in mixed communities, don’t we?

“I mean, I don’t know about you, but that’s that’s what I want to see in this country. That’s the kind of country I want my kids to be growing up in… there are huge strengths in that.”

Mr Melbourne said: “Robert Jenrick, you know, that that kind of language and usage, you say you’re putting your head above the parapet, but you’ll know that that kind of language does give support for groups on the far right that don’t want to see brown and black people living in this country. You know that don’t you?”

Mr Jenrick said: “No I think that’s an absolutely disgraceful and ridiculous comment. I tell you what gives rise to extremist views, with all due respect to journalists like yourself trying to shut down legitimate and fair debate.”

Mr Melbourne said: “I’m not shutting you down Robert, we’ve been talking about this for at least five minutes.”

Kemi Badenoch has backed her former leadership rival

Kemi Badenoch has backed her former leadership rival

The shadow minister continued: “What you are implying is that you can’t say comments like that. And if we live in a country where politicians or members of the public cannot debate whether there is due integration or not, then that does give fuel for extremists.

“That does give rise to the far right. So you must not take fair and reasonable comments and try and use them to shut down a debate that this country needs to have.”

Mrs Badenoch refused to slap him down, telling BBC Breakfast: “But the fact is, these are recordings out of context. I don’t know what was being discussed before he said that.

“But in and of itself, it’s a factual statement. If he said he didn’t see another white face, he might have been making an observation. There’s nothing wrong with making observations.

“But what he and I both agree with is that there are not enough people integrating. There are many people who are creating separate communities.”

Asked if he believed Robert Jenrick’s comments were ʳᵃᶜⁱˢᵗ, West Midlands Mayor Richard Parker told BBC Radio WM: “I do. Because he’s set out intentionally to draw on a particular issue – people’s colour – to identify the point he wanted to make.

“No other politician that I know in the West Midlands of a mainstream party would seek to do that explicitly and with the intent that he did.

“The issue for me is that rather than reflect on the positive aspects of that community… he wanted to draw on a particular issue of ethnicity and colour. I think that is simply wrong.

“It shows a lack of respect and understanding for those communities. And I doubt whether or not if he went to a largely white community anywhere in the West Midlands he’d be making a comment similar to what he made about Handsworth.”

Queen Camilla’s son has shared a heartbreaking tribute to Dame Jilly Cooper, a friend of Queen Camilla’s, who has passed away unexpectedly. The author, who was believed to be good friends with Her Majesty, was seen just last month with the Queen for the Queen’s Reading Room Festival event.

Sharing a tribute to Dame Jilly on social media, Queen Camilla’s son Tom Parker Bowles shared a picture of the beloved author with the words “the best” alongside an emoji of a broken heart.

Accompanying the image, of her and her dog, he wrote: “Deeply kind, wickedly funny and eternally sweet. And hell could she write. A true legend, in every way. RIP Jilly.”

He accompanied this with a photograph of Dame Jilly sat on a bench and smiling at the camera with her greyhound.

Tom Parker Bowles’ upset over the Dame Jilly’s d3ath is likely to be mirrored by that of Queen Camilla’s with Her Majesty very fond of Dame Jilly.

It is believed the two women were friends, with Camilla having been a fan of the author’s books.

The author was also believed to be friends with Camilla’s first husband Andrew Parker Bowles, who was the inspiration behind her character Rupert Campbell-Black in her hit novel, Rivals, which is now a Disney TV series.

In a statement published on Monday morning, Dame Jilly’s children Felix and Emily also paid tribute to Dame Jilly.

They wrote: “Mum, was the shining light in all of our lives. Her love for all of her family and friends knew no bounds.

“Her unexpected d3ath has come as a complete shock. We are so proud of everything she achieved in her life and can’t begin to imagine life without her infectious smile and laughter all around us.”

Queen Camilla has not publicly commented on her friend’s d3ath.

Louise Minchin had fans emotional as she paid tribute to her late BBC Breakfast co-star after his tragic d3ath. The former BBC star, 56, took to Instagram this week to share a message about her “dear friend” as she prepares to take part in the Tour De 4 cycling fundraiser – aimed at highlighting living with Stage 4 cancer and organised by Sir Chris Hoy.

Her Breakfast co-star Bill Turnbull had also lived with prostate cancer, which was diagnosed in 2018, before his d3ath in 2022 aged 66. Louise wrote: “My dear friend Bill Turnbull is the reason I am taking part in @tour_de4 today and riding to raise money for @prostatecanceruk.

“Without him and his cheeky sense of humour I would never have taken up cycling and been able to be on the start line this morning, and I am eternally grateful to him.

“Early diagnosis of prostate cancer can make a huge difference to those who have it and any donations today will help other men like Bill.”

She added: “Thanks so much to everyone who has donated so far, I will update you here and you can find the link to donate in my stories and bio.”

On her Instagram stories, I’m A Celeb star Louise explained: “I’ve just been making last minute preparations for Tour De 4, which is this brilliant cycling event which Sir Chris Hoy has organised to raise money and awareness for cancer.

Olympian Chris Hoy, 49 – who was told in 2024 that he had between two and four years to live – said he is “doing well” but it “took some time to lick my wounds and to recover emotionally, physically, mentally” from his incurable cancer diagnosis.

Keir Starmer faces Cabinet revolt over Budget tax rises as ministers fear Rachel Reeves has 'crossed a line'

‘Appalling!’ Pensioners blast Rachel Reeves for ‘fiddling’ with taxes – ‘We get the brunt of it’ |

Keir Starmer is under threat of a Cabinet revolt over Budget tax rises, new reports have suggested.

The Labour Government is deeply divided over Rachel Reeves’ economic policy, with ministers fearing that the Chancellor has “crossed a line”.

Since the last Autumn Budget, reports of millionaires relocating from the UK have raised concern among senior politicians.

Ministers are now fearing that a similar tax raid could accelerate this process.

Ms Reeves has been consistently urged to change course if she is to have any hope of achieving growth, which the Chancellor claims is her primary goal.

Even within her own party, Ms Reeves has been said to have gone too far, The Independent reports.

They cited “anti-aspiration” measures such as the abolition of non-dom status and VAT on private school fees as key drivers of wealth away from the UK

They said the measures are “harming this country”, with further measures reportedly being considered, including a property tax on high-value homes and a new bank profits tax.

Cuts and “efficiency savings” were suggested to plug a Budget black hole which could be as high as £50billion.

The Prime Minister’s reshuffle last month has “handed more power to the right of the party”, according to those on the left, pushing out the support for the more left-wing policies.

However, those of the right of the party believe the Government needs to rein in spending and be more ready “to reform the state in a Labour way”.

One minister told the publication: “The trouble is we have crossed a line in trying to encourage aspiration. The non-dom change and the VAT on school fees have sent the opposite message.”

The Chancellor hiked taxes by £40billion in her first Budget after entering No11, mainly through raising employers’ National Insurance Contributions from 13.8 per cent to 15 per cent

They added: “It’s doing a lot of harm to the country.”

Another Cabinet minister said: “I just think the non-dom changes made no real sense. Why do we want people with money to move out of the country? It is really bad for London.”

In September, Ms Reeves confirmed she will unveil her second Budget on November 26 as Britons brace for potential hikes.

The Chancellor hiked taxes by £40billion in her first Budget after entering No11, mainly through raising employers’ National Insurance Contributions from 13.8 per cent to 15 per cent.

Confirming the Budget will take place on November 26, the Treasury said: “The Chancellor Rachel Reeves has commissioned the OBR to prepare an economic and fiscal forecast to be presented to Parliament alongside the Budget on 26 November 2025.”

Ms Reeves attempted to take on the narrative that Britain’s economy is broken in a video released shortly after the Budget date announcement.

After admitting that the economy “isn’t working well enough for working people”, the Chancellor added: “We need to bring inflation and borrowing costs down.

“We do that by keeping a tight grip on day-to-day spending and by enforcing my non-negotiable fiscal rules.”

BREAKING NEWS: GB News Suddenly PAUSED live on air For URGENT Announcement On Prince Harry And King Charles .K

The royal correspondent shared an update after revealing Prince Harry and Prince William are “not on speaking terms”.

GB News interrupted their live coverage where royal correspondent Cameron Walker reported live from Nottingham and spoke to members of the public about the arrival of Prince Harry. The Duke of Sussex takes on his second day of engagements in Nottingham during his four-day UK visit, while Prince William is carrying out royal duties miles away, with no sign yet of the brothers crossing paths. Speculation is rife over whether Harry will see his father, King Charles, who returns from his Balmoral break this week. It would be the father and son’s first face-to-face meeting in nearly two years, following a brief meeting in February 2024 after the King’s cancer diagnosis.

In a fresh update, Cameron revealed it is possible the pair will meet in London later this week. Speaking to GB News host Martin Daubney, the correspondent explained an olive branch has potentially been extended to Harry. Royal reports have suggested a meeting could be on the cards. Cameron said: “Yesterday, I was with the Prince of Wales in Sunningdale. He was seven miles away from Prince Harry laying a wreath at the grave of his late grandmother at Windsor Castle. We don’t believe they met. We don’t even think they’re on speaking terms, Martin.”

He continued: “But the King is slightly more likely in a meeting between [Harry] and the monarch. At the moment, the King is in Balmoral in Scotland, which is of course, half a days travel away.

“Prince Harry, we think, is spending the remainder of his time in the UK in London. But we believe the King is returning to London for cancer treatment later this week which means logistically there could be a window for Prince Harry and the King to meet.”

Cameron went on: “Neither side are confirming if they’re going to be meeting. I doubt their staff members know the answer to that question and believe me we have all asked for an answer to that question and we simply don’t know.”

He added that the meeting between Harry and King’s team a two months ago is confirmation that a reconciliation is being considered between the two parties.

    Cameron Walker

“If it does happen, we’re going to have to wait until after the event,” Cameron concluded.

Harry has been open about his desire to build bridges with his family, with relations strained since he stepped back as a working royal five years ago.

Since moving to the US with his wife Meghan Markle, the royal has been candid about grievances about his family members – with his memoir Spare also lifting the lid on his childhood and longstanding sibling rivalry with Prince William.

Harry began his trip with a private visit to his grandmother’s grave in Windsor and attended charity events, including meeting 17-year-old WellChild award winner Declan Bitmead.

He smiled as he made a brief, light-hearted reference to siblings, saying: “You know what – siblings. Sometimes it can be more challenging.”

BRUTAL: Jeremy Clarkson HUMILIATES Carol Vorderman With Savage Six-Word Comeback — Viewers Left Reeling After His Coldest Put-Down Yet!k

The Clarkson’s Farm star certainly didn’t hold back as he shut down claims that Keir Starmer’s unpopularity in Number 10 is due to “bad PR”

Jeremy Clarkson has hit out at Carol Vorderman’s argument that Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s unpopularity in the polls is simply down to “bad PR” by the Labour Party. Last month, it was announced that the Labour leader was the least popular Prime Minister on record, according to the polls. The former Countdown presenter discussed this at the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool last week.

During a discussion with Carole Cadwalladr, the 63-year-old broadcaster admitted that Starmer would need to be replaced if Labour wanted to win the next General Election. However, she claimed that “right-wing newspapers” played a huge part in his plummeting popularity rather than his divisive new policies.

But it’s fair to say the former Top Gear host wasn’t convinced by her claims, arguing that a lot of his faults are due to his poor performance over the last 12 months he has been in office.

In his latest column, Mr Clarkson shut down Vorderman by pointing out that during the election campaign, she was “extremely keen” that the public voted for Labour. He quipped: “She reckoned that with a Labour government running things, the nation would be filled with smiles and sunshine.”

The Clarkson’s Farm star then made it clear that he disagreed with the maths whiz, describing every Labour leader to have taken office during his lifetime as “useless”. He remarked: “There was a time when [Tony] Blair looked like he might be okay, but then he set off to Iraq to look for a bomb that wasn’t there, and it emerged he was useless too.”

The motoring journalist continued by lumping Starmer in with the same “useless” crowd, before he mentioned how Vorderman had claimed during the Labour Party Conference that the PM’s dwindling popularity was due to “bad PR.”

He wrote in shock: “WHAT?! You think that his attack and then retreat on pensioners was a public relations cock-up? And that his stupid Chagos deal would have been more palatable if only someone had sold the story more effectively.

“And what about all the people he’s had to fire? And how he’s completely lost control of his dimwit backbenchers.” The Grand Tour star added in his column for The Sun that Caol had conceded that Labour would need a new leader if they were to succeed in the next General Election.

But in the eyes of Mr Clarkson, it “won’t make any difference” when it comes to the public’s opinion. He claimed: “It’s the whole Labour philosophy that’s wrong. And Andy Burnham isn’t going to fix that. So it would just be, ‘Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss’.”

Strictly Sh0ck: George Clarke Decision Sparks Fan Fury as Viewers Cry Foul ‘This Is Completely Unfair!’

BBC Strictly has shared what the couples will be dancing this weekend

Viewers of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing have reacted with fury after learning that contestant George Clarke will perform his Couple’s Choice routine to Soda Pop from K-Pop Demon Hunters during Movie Week.

The announcement, made through the programme’s Instagram account revealing dance assignments for the themed week, prompted an immediate backlash from supporters of the social media personality.

Multiple fans took to social platforms to voice their displeasure, with one writing that the decision had made them “genuinely angry and upset” for the contestant.

One shared: “Nah that’s not on, why are they wasting George’s couples choice so early on a s***ty song? #Strictly.”

    George Clarke and Alexis Warr

Strictly Come Dancing fans expressed outrage over George Clarke’s upcoming dance

“MAKING GEORGE DO HIS COUPLE’S CHOICE TO SODA POP????? I’m sorry that’s genuinely made me so angry and upset for him, it’s literally called couple’s CHOICE, it makes no sense when soda pop is a salsa song #Strictly,” another penned.

“George and Alexis got wronged, they’ll still somehow find a way to make Soda Pop good though,” another wrote.

“So upset for George what the f***, he should’ve got given a Salsa/Samba for that song instead of them wasting his Couple’s Choice dance on week 3 to a song he doesn’t even know #Strictly.”

“George being the first celeb to do a couple’s choice this season of #Strictly and he’s doing it to soda pop for k – pop demon hunters,” another posted.

A sixth commented: “Interesting that soda pop is a couples choice! Excited to see what Alexis is gonna bring to the table choreo wise.” (sic)

The song selection has particularly frustrated fans who believe Soda Pop would be better suited to Latin dance styles like salsa or samba.

Despite the controversy surrounding his upcoming performance, Mr Clarke has demonstrated strong form in the competition’s opening weeks.

The 25-year-old secured third position on the leaderboard across the first fortnight, sitting behind Lewis Cope and Amber Davies.

His Paso Doble to Game of Survival by Ruelle earned 30 points from the judging panel, with Shirley Ballas identifying him as a potential frontrunner.

However, Mr Clarke recently disclosed on The Useless Hotline Podcast that he had required urgent physiotherapy treatment after sustaining a back injury during rehearsals.

The content creator explained that a handstand attempt went awry, resulting in a pinched nerve that necessitated acupuncture and four physiotherapy sessions.

He chose not to mention the injury during his television performance, declining producers’ offers to reference it in his pre-recorded segment.

During Tuesday’s It Takes Two programme, presenter Janette Manrara discussed Mr Clarke’s previous performance with former professional dancer Joanne Clifton.

Mrs Clifton noted that whilst Mr Clarke displayed impressive lines with “the energy of a violin string when it is pulled tight,” judge Motsi Mabuse had identified a need for improved fluidity between movements.

The choreographer observed that transitions between steps appeared disconnected, suggesting Mr Clarke needed to work on creating smoother connections throughout his routines.

Strictly Come Dancing returned to screens last month for a dazzling new series of the BBC dancing competition. A fresh batch of famous took to the dancefloor and have wowed audiences with their impressive performances over the last two weeks. One frontrunner is social media star George Clarke, who is partnered with new professional Alexis Warr.

The content creator was described as a possible “frontrunner” by head judge Shirley Ballas, following his powerful paso doble to Game of Survival by Ruelle. The couple earned a total of 30 points for their showstopping performance. He landed in third place on the leaderboard for weeks one and two, closely following Lewis Cope and Amber Davies.

Despite impressing the judges, George has revealed he was rushed to a physiotherapist last week after injuring his back in rehearsals. The influencer opened up about hurting his back on his podcast, The Useless Hotline Podcast.

He invited his Strictly professional dance partner Alexis Warr onto the show, which he co-hosts alongside Max Baledge, for the first time. He said he was given less time to rehearse for his routine after needing physiotherapy for a back injury he sustained in rehearsal, reports The Mirror.

He said: “I didn’t want it to be a thing on the night. That’s why they asked in the VT, they were like, ‘Do you want to mention your back?’ and I said, ‘I don’t want it to be a thing.’”

He added: “I had a pinched nerve all week in my back. I had acupuncture half way through the week. I went to physio four times.” As for how he did it, George said the injury happened after a handstand went wrong.

The star explained: “I was like, ‘I’ll throw in a handstand or something.’ I like doing a handstand, if I keep my legs together I’d probably be better at it but it doesn’t feel fun when you do it that way. I did that and got up and went, ‘My back hurts a little bit actually. Ah s**t, I’ve got a little twinge in there somehow. I’ll try to carry on.’”

He said that after they took a lunch break, he was unable to return to training and “went straight to physio” instead. He said: “I went to physio the next morning as well. Danced for a bit, sat down.”

Meanwhile, Alexis said that it’s the “most frustrated” she had seen George, with him adding: “Monday is when they throw a load of information at you and then it’s terrible Tuesday because you’re trying to figure it out.”

Not only was he behind with training, but George had to keep stopping rehearsals because of his back pain. He said: “It would get to the point where I’m getting it then I had to sit down because my back was hurting.”

Earlier this week, George revealed what taking part in the competition really means to him, writing on Instagram: “Probably [a] good time to continue being serious and thank everyone for their unbelievable support so far. Whether you’re old or new (here, not just in general) I really appreciate the comments, the messages and obviously the votes!”
