SH0CK: Dianne Buswell Breaks Silence on Fiery Clash with Motsi Mabuse Leaving Fans Stunned

It was ‘the last straw’ according to a body language expert…

Strictly Come Dancing’s Dianne Buswell was not too pleased by judge Motsi Mabuse’s comments at the weekend, a body language expert has claimed.

The Aussie dancer was back on the dance floor on Saturday night (October 4) with celeb partner and soap star Stefan Dennis. The pair performed a Cha Cha Cha to Give It Up by KC and The Sunshine Band.

Although he made a few mistakes, the routine went down a treat with fans at home. However, a body language expert has now claimed that Dianne was left ‘wounded’ by one of the judge’s comments…

At the weekend, Strictly returned to screens, and stars Dianne and Stefan wowed fans thanks to their energetic Cha Cha Cha that they performed on the show.

As for the judges’ feedback it was mixed. Anton Du Beke said he thought it was “very good” at times, while Craig Revel Horwood described the dance as “stiff” and “stumpy”.

However, it was Motsi’s feedback that Dianne apparently took an issue with the most, according to a body language expert.

    What did Motsi say?

On Strictly Come Dancing, Motsi said: “You have a brilliant partnership, and you have a brilliant energy. You guys are like sunshine when you pair up together.

“I’m going to have to address the elephant in the room, there were lots of tiny tiny mistakes everywhere.” The studio audience then booed Motsi before she hit back: “There were guys sorry, let’s just be honest.”

“Just let’s try next time to rehearse and stick to the routine.” Dianne – who is expecting her first child – soon fired back at the comments and said: “I don’t know how much more we can rehearse Motsi,” as she laughed.

And now, a body language expert has claimed Motsi Mabuse’s ‘wounding’ feedback was the “final straw” for long-running dancer Dianne.

    Dianne ‘hiding her anger’

Speaking on behalf on Paddy Power Games, body language expert Judi James discussed the remark that Motsi made about Dianne and Stefan regarding; and according to Judi, it ‘wounded’ Dianne.

She said: “Motsi’s comment ‘Try to rehearse’ looked like the last straw for Dianne, who performed an overkill smile that was more an angry baring of the teeth than an expression of pleasure, and collapsed from the waist in a gesture of exhaustion.

“When she straightened, she had one hand balled into a fist and placed on her hip in a gesture that can look aggressive or confrontational and there was a tongue-poke gesture to suggest she rejected the idea of not rehearsing. Dianne is a grafter and the comment appeared wounding.”

BREAKING NEWS: Loose Women star Janet Street-Porter MAKES BLUNT STATEMENT about Piers Morgan that leaves co-stars CONFUSED

    Janet Street-Porter

Loose Women’s Janet Street-Porter left her co-stars taken back as she seemingly took a jibe at Piers Morgan.

During Monday’s (October 6) episode of the ITV hit chat show, Janet was presenting alongside fellow panelists, Christine Lamphard, Coleen Nolan and Kelly Brooks as they tackled the day’s biggest talking points.

Piers Morgan Ditches Rupert Murdoch's News UK in Deal Over YouTube Show

However, it was one segment that stole the show as they discussed how they feel about chivalrous men following Piers Morgan’sremark on feminists in his name book titled Woke is Dead.

The former GMB presenter, 60, said what he calls “radical feminist types” have tried to “poison” gentlemanly gestures such as holding doors, carrying heavy bags or paying for dinner.

Coleen was the first to share her opinion as she admitted: “I don’t often agree with him but I do agree with that because it is down to manners, certainly with holding doors and stuff like that.

“If I meet a guy and he holds the door open for me or opens the car door for me or a first date I’ll always offer to pay but if he says yeah I just think ‘you’re not getting a second date’.

Kelly also agreed as she jumped in saying: “I think on a first date they should always pay. In my house we have somehow slipped into pink and blue jobs.

“When it comes to the bins and things like that I would do it but I would appreciate it if Jeremy [Parisi, her husband] does it.”

It was clear that Janet strongly disagreed with her co-star as she put her hands over her face and put her head down.

Turning to the audience, Janet said: “I can’t bear how modern society has taken backwards male and female roles, it just doesn’t bother me in the slightest.”

In an unexpected moment, the TV presenter turned her attention to Piers as she continued: “What I find comical is that Piers Morgan is painting himself as some kind of chivalrous knight, some gentleman, who goes through life so upset that he opens doors for women and does all these lovely things and some radical horrible feminists are not appreciating it.

Pointing at herself: “This radical feminist will appreciate anyone opening a door.

“Man, women, whatever because I think good manners as Coleen has said is the fundamental thing, that means we’ve got a civilised society.”

Things then took a turn as she made a further dig at Piers and shared her recent encounter with the TV presenter: “What I find comical about Piers’ book is that only a few weeks ago, Christine and I had the misfortune to share a dinner table with Piers Morgan. We were at a very posh dinner in the city of London.

    Phụ nữ lỏng lẻo

She continued: “Christine and I were sitting right next to Piers Morgan and as people were making very important speeches and who talked all the way through it.. Piers Morgan. Who demanded wine when no wine was being served.. “Piers Morgan.

Janet left her co-stars speechless as she added: “Then when the wine came he wanted champagne, so actually Piers Morgan try having a few manners before telling women about chivalry.”

Mason, 21, was brutally murdered by his own brothers in a dramatic knife crime storyline in January.

ITV viewers were in tears as they watched an injured Mason stumble to a playground, while Abi Webster desperately tried to save him.

But nine months on from his emotional exit, Luca has revealed he’s been busy auditioning for new roles and hinted at a return to our screens in six months time.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Luca said: “I just finished a short film, I’m loving life. This short film was a dream come true, it was a medieval short film… they built a whole set, they built me a sword from scratch. It sounds really nerdy but for me it was so fun.

“And then from that I’m auditioning for film and TV, so I guess within the next six months you might start seeing me on your screens.”

Luca teased he wouldn’t be able to reveal exactly what show he has joined, but teased it could be another soap.

Shortly after being axed, Luca broke his silence, saying: “Of course when I first heard there was a mixture of emotions because I was sad that Mason was going to d!e and that means I would be leaving, but equally I was really excited and honoured to be part of this storyline because it’s an incredibly important issue that needs to be tackled.

“I feel so privileged to have had this opportunity to start my professional career at Coronation Street and what a great time I’ve had.”

And he had to keep the secret for almost a year.

He added: “I found out around February or March time so it was a long time coming. It gave me the opportunity to do a lot of research into the storyline which was great.”

Mason’s final episode saw the shocking moment his brothers hunted him down for grassing them up for murdering Betsy’s mum Becky.

Shocking scenes saw Mason attacked by his brothers and flee – but the thugs chased him down.

And when Dylan tried to intervene – bringing Mason’s knife – it was taken from him and used to stab Mason.

He stumbled into the playground and hallucinated a future where he reunited with Betsy and planned for his new life in Germany.

But as the truth was revealed about Dylan’s involvement, the reality was shown as Abi Webster found Mason bleeding out.

Rushed to hospital with a weeping Betsy and Abi with him, the doctors battled to save his life.

But sadly there was nothing they could do and Masson d!ed in the hospital leaving Betsy devastated.

Introducing him to followers, she said: “This is my dad. He’s always had gorgeous waves but as he’s got older his definition has started to fade.

“So today, we gave him a little hair glow up.”

The willing volunteer was none other than Craig Charles, 61, famous for his work on Red Dwarf, Robot Wars and Coronation Street, as well as his time on the airwaves with Radio 2.

Shocked viewers commented with their surprise.

One wrote: “I was flabbergasted tbh.”

Her famous father will be back in the spotlight next year when I’m A Celebrity South Africa airs.

Dad-of-three Craig pulled out of I’m A Celebrity back in 2014 after learning his brother Dean had died from a heart attack.

A TV insider said: “So many viewers were willing for Craig to win when he appeared on the show the first time and he stood a good chance of being crowned King of the Jungle.

“But he was robbed of the experience by the family tragedy, although his campmates and the production team all understood why he wanted to leave and head home to be with his loved ones.

“So ITV has given him another go, and it’s a move which has never been done on the show before — bringing someone back who had to leave due to such circumstances.”

Craig shot to fame playing Dave Lister in BBC sci-fi sitcom Red Dwarf and was cabbie Lloyd Mullaney on Coronation Street from 2005 to 2015.

He is now a DJ on BBC Radio 6 Music, where he currently has a stand-in presenter while he is in South Africa.

The show will be a reunion in more ways than one.

Gemma Collins quit abruptly on the same series in 2014 and will be back for this All Stars version, which is due to air next year with Ant and Dec as hosts.

  • SAD NEW:Tories Under Fire for ‘Turning on the Weakest’ as Calls Grow to Scrap the Triple Lock Pension

SAD NEW:Tories Under Fire for ‘Turning on the Weakest’ as Calls Grow to Scrap the Triple Lock Pension

State pension under threat as Tory minister warns of £4TRILLION timebomb - 'triple lock simply must go'

The state pension is under mounting threat as senior Conservatives and economists warn that the triple lock is no longer sustainable, with some arguing it “simply must go.”

Richard Fuller, the shadow chief secretary to the Treasury, described Britain’s £4trillion state pension liability as a timebomb that was created in an era of faster growth and larger working-age populations.

Mr Fuller said: “The state pension scheme was set up in a period where you could expect that we would have two per cent to three per cent growth and a growing working age population. And that is now a 4 trillion pound liability,” he told a fringe event, warning the Government is “sailing awfully close to the wind on the bond markets.”

He added: “So 2.5 of unfunded debt, 1 trillion of other liability, 1.5 of public sector pensions, *4 trillion pounds of state pension. And so as we think about the issue of fiscal responsibility, what is the conservative route to fiscal sustainability?”

His intervention comes as a growing number of Tory MPs admit the triple lock cannot hold.

Windsor MP Jack Rankin also told a Centre for Policy Studies event: “The social contract in this country is broken, so people try to get as much out of the system as possible. The triple lock situation is not sustainable long term.”

Mr Rankin admitted the politics are fraught, saying: “We can’t cut pensions because all of our voters are over the age of 70. But if we don’t cut pensions we won’t have any voters under the age of 70.”

The warnings follow an Office for Budget Responsibility forecast that the annual cost of the triple lock will hit £15.5 billion by 2030, up from £138 billion today. The OBR projects that state pension costs could climb to 7.7 per cent of GDP by the 2070s.

    Richard Fuller

As costs continue to rise former Cabinet minister Tom Tugendhat explained the triple lock is “simply non sustainable over the next 20 or 30 years.” He argued the economy is now “geared towards pensioners” in a way that risks alienating younger voters.

Kemi Badenoch and Mel Stride have previously signalled that the policy is unsustainable, adding to a growing sense among pensioners that their retirement income will not be safe with the Conservatives.

A Labour Party spokesperson said: “The masked has slipped again: the Conservatives want to raid people’s pension pots. Kemi Badenoch’s top team are planning an assault on nearly 13 million of Britain’s pensioners.

“It’s the same old Tories, you simply cannot trust them. Only Labour will protect people’s dignity in retirement, and our commitment to the triple lock will see up to £1,900 a year more in pensioners’ pockets by the end of this Parliament.”

    Rachel Reeves

Mr Fuller warned that while voters are “pretty grumpy about taxes”, the bigger danger lies elsewhere.

He said: “What k!lls ambitions of government isn’t just the burden you place on people for extra taxes… what k!lls a government’s ambitions are the bond market. And this government is sailing awfully close to the wind on the bond markets.”

Comparing it to business, he added: “Businesses go bankrupt very, very slowly. And what we don’t want is fiscal responsibilities to get to that situation.”

Mr Fuller stressed that, in opposition, Conservatives must “think about those broader aspects of liabilities as part of the overall effort to fiscal responsibility.”

    Couple confused looking at laptop

Britons are warned this could become a “multibillion-pound issue” | GETTY“Why should pensioners’ incomes grow at faster rates than those funding the system? This flaw turns the triple lock policy into a disproportional inter-generational transfer, rather than a sound state pension,” he said.

The state pension is becoming one of the most politically charged issues facing the government.

Dr Benjamin Caswell of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research said: “A lasting solution to the UK’s fiscal morass will ultimately require a broad and difficult conversation about the state pension.

“But if the UK public finances are to be put on a stable footing in the near future, the triple lock simply must go.”

He added that since 2011, the state pension has risen by 73 per cent in cash terms, a 21 per centreal-terms increase, compared with just eight per cent for average wages.

It came just months after her bitter exit from the ITV soap.

Court records show that on December 2, 2024, Dunlop, was alleged to have driven 67mph on the M606 southbound in Bradford, exceeding the 50mph limit.

The offence was recorded by an automatic camera device.

In a separate incident on 26 March 2025, Dunlop failed to provide information identifying the driver of the same vehicle when requested by West Yorkshire Police, in breach of the Road Traffic Act.

She pleaded guilty at West Yorkshire Magistrates’ Court but walked away with just four points on her licence and a £222 fine.

Going 17mph over the limit can result in six points and a short ban.

Failing to identify a driver can be punishable by up to six points and a £1,000 fine.

It is not known if the actress personally appeared in court.

Dunlop, who lives in Bradford with her husband, Emmerdale co-star Chris Chittell, recently left the soap after more than 16 years.

Her character, Brenda Walker, departed in April 2025 following a storyline in which she went on a cruise with her stepdaughter Cathy Hope, with a letter revealing she would not return to the village.

The actress began her career as a child, appearing in BBC productions such as A Little Princess and ITV dramas including South Riding.

She later appeared in series such as May to December and Where the Heart Is, before joining Emmerdale in 2008.

Patrick Kielty has admitted he didn’t feel like an equal partner in his relationship with Cat Deeley. The pair announced earlier this week that they had split after a decade of marriage.

In a joint statement, the pair had said: “We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved. We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment.”

Now, an interview from back in 2023 has emerged where Patrick admitted he didn’t feel like an equal in their marriage. Speaking on The Mid-Point podcast back in July 2023, he was asked how he and Cat made the decisions in their relationship. He said: “For a long time I genuinely thought I was in a 50/50 partnership.

“Then you realise you’re actually a junior shareholder in a 50/50 partnership. You go, ‘I thought we were 50/50? Why do you seem to have more shares?’ I think with big decisions you kind of have to float stuff and see how that’s going to go.” It comes after Cat Deeley found one move ‘really hard’ before split from Patrick Kielty.

Patrick and Cat were married for over a decade

Meanwhile, in the resurfaced podcast admission, Pat – who shares two sons, Milo, seven, and James, five, with Cat – continued of their move from the US to the UK: “What was weird about it was it was Cat who more wanted to do that. It was more so her decision.

“I think being a new mum and not having the family around and not having the network of cousins and brothers.

“I think, for me, London is not home. It will never really be home for me. In my head, I still live in a little village in County Down, even though I haven’t lived there full time for 30 years. These are the tricks you play on yourself.”

He added: “Living in London, my family was always a flight away anyway, so that idea of being a longer flight away from LA wasn’t as much of a problem for me as someone who had to get a flight to go to see them anyway.

“I also think because Cat was the one with a successful career out there, she was the one who chose to leave that at the right time, and that’s a decision that she made and only she can make.”

Patrick was also asked in the same podcast if the pair were the happiest they had been. He said things were good but marriage was always something to be worked at and added that the “idea of how you work together whenever the rough and the smooth and all those things” was the most important part.

SAD NEWS: Strictly Star Helen Flanagan Reveals Hidden Condition Making Everyday Life ‘Extremely Challenging’ As Fans Express Heartbreak

Helen seems to have found a solution to her problem

Helen Flanagan has opened up about a hidden chronic health condition that “ruins” her life.

Mum-of-three Helen, 35, opened up about her health battle during a new interview over the weekend.

Helen Flanagan on hidden chronic health condition

Speaking to The Sun yesterday (Sunday, October 5), Helen revealed that she’s been diagnosed with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PDD).

PDD is a very severe form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). It causes a range of emotional and physical symptoms every month during the week or two before your period.

Symptoms can include anxiety, depression, extreme irritability, feelings of hopelessness, as well as headaches, fatigue, and bloating.

During her childhood, Helen suffered from drastic mood swings. However, after being diagnosed with ADHD when she was 16, the mood swings continued, leading to Helen and her parents growing concerned that she could have another underlying mental health condition.

Speaking to the publication, Helen said that her parents thought she might be bipolar due to her mood swings.

Eventually, the I’m A Celebrity legend was diagnosed with PDD.

“It’s something that really rules my life. To be quite honest with you, I really struggle with my PMDD. I can get severe depression, and it can really take over my life. I really do struggle with my mental health massively, and it’s quite debilitating,” she confessed.

“Everybody that is close to me is very aware of my PMDD, I don’t think I’ve ever had a relationship with a man, or even when I’ve dated someone, that they don’t know about my cycle, because it massively changes everything. I could be really happy and great and positive, and then suddenly I’m really quite depressed,” she then continued.

Helen on how PDD affects her relationships

The star then continued, saying: “Especially in relationships, I could be very irritable, could get angry, overly emotional and anxious so it can be extremely, extremely challenging. I think I struggle with relationships as well. I don’t want a boyfriend at the moment, but I do think PMDD can make it very difficult to be with someone because men don’t really usually understand how you’re feeling.”

Helen was told that a hysterectomy was the only real solution. However, the star said that that option feels “drastic” and isn’t something she wants to go through with. But, she admitted that she has considered it.

Taking things into her own hands, Helen discovered a pill which has been described as the “female Viagra”. The product claims to boost the libido. Though Helen didn’t think she needed it, she soon realised the positive impact it would have on her, stabilising her hormones, and therefore changing her relationship for the better.

She added that it’s made her feel “more level” and “stronger”. However, when she forgot to take the pill one month, the difference was alarming. The star was left bed-bound for two days, riddled with anxiety and dark thoughts.

However, the star has learned to understand her cycles, which she says helps “put some logic to it”.

Loose Women have faced yet another shakeup as stars of the hit ITV daytime show prepare for major changes. The daytime scheduling is set to look very different next year as huge cuts sweep the channel.

From next year, Loose Women will only air for 30 weeks rather than its usual 52, slashing production time almost in half. The beloved live studio audience will also be no more as well as its star-studded guests.

In another change for Loose Women, its long-time editor Sally Shelford has decided to hang up her reign. Amid her decision to leave, many of the show’s stars are said to be concerned about keeping their spots while the show gets trimmed down.

Sally’s departure is also said to be a hit to the cast as she “knows the women well” and “who will go on with who”. A source said: “The show is in bits. So many of the panellists need to work on the show to pay the bills so they are facing some tough times.”

They added to Daily Mail: “There are silos within the show – some despise one another, others are exceptionally close. These are desperate and worrying times.”

A spokesperson for ITV told the Mirror : “After almost a decade at the helm of Loose Women, winning three Royal Television Society Awards, two BAFTA nominations, launching powerful campaigns and expanding the Loose brand with Loose Men, a successful podcast and a live nationwide tour, Sally feels the time is right to hand the Loose baton on.

“She will continue as Loose Women Editor until the New Year.” Another huge change for the show will reportedly be the end of A-list guests, who are expected to appear on This Morning instead.

Over its 25 year history, Loose Women has welcomed some of the world’s biggest stars to the panel – from Naomi Campbell to Janet Jackson and Dame Joan Collins.

Speaking about the huge cuts, an insider told The Mirror: “It’s not a case of viewers seeing less of their shows… it’s impossible to see how the high standards will remain the same.

“Some staff believe Loose Women and Lorraine in particular will enter a death spiral… it’s just so sad. Just a handful of people will be working on each of those two programmes which has huge ramifications for how they are going forward.”

Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha admitted she was “totally devastated” at the loss of the audience and spoke out in support of her close friend and warm-up artist Lee Peart, who lost his job as a result.

“The audience is so important for the show,” Nadia said. “What a lot of people don’t realise is that we’re self-employed. Every contract is a new contract – I could be let go tomorrow or in five years. It’s brutal.”

She added: “Hundreds of people are going to be made redundant out of the blue. A lot of my friends and colleagues on this show and at ITV have been there for decades, and I can’t tell you how upsetting it was to see people walking around numb with shock and fear about what they were going to do.”

Amy Dowden has shared some heartfelt words following her elimination from Strictly Come Dancing with her partner, former Apprentice star Thomas Skinner. They became the first couple to leave the competition after Thomas was voted into the dance off against former England rugby star Chris Robshaw and his partner Nadiya Bychkova.

Tom and Amy performed their salsa to Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal which earned them 13 points from the judges on Saturday night. Chris and Nadiya took to the ballroom floor to showcase their Viennese waltz to Die With A Smile by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars for a second time, which earned them 16 points on the night.

The judges all agreed in their vote to save Chris and Nadiya, which meant Tom and Amy had to say their goodbyes. Speaking about his time on the show with presenter Tess Daly, Skinner said: “I’ve loved it.

“I’ve never danced before and listen my stay was short, but Amy’s amazing. It’s been great fun and I’ve enjoyed it. I can’t really dance that well but I’ve had fun, I’ve had fun. He continued: “Thank you, Amy – sorry that we haven’t done too good, because you’re a different class.”

Amy has since shared a heartfelt statement addressing her early exit from the show. In a post on Instagram, the Welsh professional dancer said: “Our Strictly journey has sadly come to end.

“Tom, you have truly helped bring me back, not just to the show, but to myself. Our training days have been filled with laughter and just enjoying the moment.

“Your work ethic, your heart, and your commitment the last few weeks has been 110%. You’ve embraced every challenge with such positivity, and I couldn’t have asked for more from you. “I would have absolutely loved to take you even further, just to share even more of the joy of dancing and the Strictly magic with you. But I’m leaving with a heart full of gratitude and pride. Thank you.

“What I’ve learnt more than ever this past two years what matters, happiness, health and to be grateful to be alive doing what I love. I wish all the contestants the very best of luck this season is going to be spectacular.

“I’ll be watching and cheering you all on. Lastly thanks for all the love, certainly felt it! Welsh love always xxx @bbcstrictly @iamtomskinner.”

Taking to the comments, Amy’s co-star Dianne Buswell sent her support. She wrote: “To happiness health and being alive. Go girl.” Jowita Przystal said: “We will miss you guys” with a red love heart emoji.

Katya Jones said: “I will never get used to this part of the show so sad to see Tom’s journey ending so soon.” Tess Daly added: “Love you so much Amy.”

Amy hoped to make it further in the competition as she was forced to withdraw from Strictly last year due to a foot injury. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023 and has been open about her journey returning to dancing.

The 35-year-old Welsh professional was partnered with JLS star JB Gill on the 2024 series. But her time on the BBC dancing show was cut short and she was forced to pull out of the show.

She was replaced by fellow professional Lauren Oakley. The couple went on to reach the final, but they lost out of the glitterball to Scouse comedian Chris McCausland and his partner Dianne Buswell.
