GB News was interrupted for major breaking news as presenters Ellie Costello and Cameron Walker delivered a heartbreaking update about the Manchester synagogue terror attack. On Thursday (September 2), which marked Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, the police confirmed two members of the Jewish community were left dead and three others were hospitalised. During Friday’s (September 3) broadcast, Cameron announced: “We do have some breaking news, and we can bring you a picture of the victim, 66-year-old Melvin Cravitz, who was killed in that terror attack yesterday.

A his photo appeared on screen, the presenter added: “This is the first image of one of the two victims who lost their lives during the appalling terrorist attacks in Manchester.” Ellie continued: “53-year-old Adrian Daulby also died yesterday. Greater Manchester Police said that ‘specially trained family liaison officers are in contact with both of their families.” The broadcaster added: “Of course, they’re going to be updating them on the investigation and supporting them through this painful process.”

In a statement, Detective Chief Superintendent Lewis Hughes from the Greater Manchester Police said: “My deepest sympathies are with Mr Daulby and Mr Cravitz’s loved ones at this extremely hard time.

“Specially trained Family Liaison Officers are in contact with them. They will continue to update them on the investigation and support them throughout the coronial process

“Whilst there are processes which must be followed, we commit to being mindful of cultural preferences and sensitivities and to ensuring that these men and their loved ones’ wishes are respected.”

Alongside the tragic deaths, three other people were left seriously injured in the car ramming and stabbing attack outside the synagogue.

The suspected assailant, identified by police as 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie, died after he was shot by firearms officers.

Greater Manchester Police Chief Constable Sir Stephen Watson said the attacker was wearing a vest “which had the appearance of an explosive device.” Police later confirmed to CNN that the device “wasn’t viable,” and at the time added that they couldn’t provide any further details.

In an emergency meeting, the Prime minister, Keir Starmer, condemned the “horrific” attack on the Jewish holy day and left a political summit in Denmark early in response to the incident.

The politician added that “additional police assets” would be deployed at synagogues across the country after the attack and told reporters: “We will do everything to keep our Jewish community safe.”

King Charles also issued a statement and said he and the Queen were “deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the horrific attack in Manchester, especially on such a significant day for the Jewish community”.

“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!” — Good Morning Britain FLOODED With Complaints as Viewers DEMAND Adil Ray Be AXED… The Growing Backlash Rocking the Show.k

Good Morning Britain presenter Adil Ray came under fire for comments he made during an interview with Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood

Adil Ray faced a wave of criticism following his interview with Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood on Good Morning Britain. The Labour politician appeared on the programme alongside co-host Kate Garraway on Friday, following the tragic attack at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester.

During the incident, Jihad Al-Shamie drove into the synagogue’s gates and launched a knife attack, killing two people and seriously injuring three others. Witnesses described him as targeting “anyone and everyone” during the rampage. Adil and Kate questioned the Home Secretary on what measures the government is taking to protect Jewish communities in the UK. However, some viewers accused Adil of shifting the conversation to focus on the Muslim community, prompting a backlash on social media and a surge of complaints.

One wrote: “Why is he equating and talking about Islamophobia ? It’s typical – an Islamist extremist kills Jews and he ask how we can protect the Muslims community.”

Demanding his removal from the show, another raged: “Adil seriously needs to be taken off air, this is about the Jewish community and keeping EVERYONE safe regardless of race and religion, why does he keep bringing up the Muslim community.”

A third said: “Adil making it all about the muslims surprise surprise. We can remind @adilray that this is about the racist murder of Jews. All racism and attacks such as this are obscene, but it’s not a competition. The focus here should be abhorrent antisemitism. Conflation isn’t useful!”

Echoing this, a fourth agreed: “Just when you thought the last Home Secretary was useless & insincere, along comes another one, who is actually worse. She clearly went to the same charm-less school as all the other cabinet ministers. I wouldn’t believe her if she said water was wet. Don’t get me started on Adil.”

During the interview, he said: “A lot of people are saying that the Jewish community are fearful of their lives and their future here. I know people of the Muslim community are feeling the same way because of some of the anti-hate that your family members and people in your community, the same community that I come from, have suffered.

“What are you going to do to ensure Jewish communities, Muslim communities and minorities that Britain is in a situation that none of us would have ever imagined?”

Mahmood responded: “My first responsibility is the safety and security of our country. That is what I am absolutely focused on and determined to deliver so that all of our citizens can feel safe.”

  • SHOCKING REVEALED: How one ‘dreadful’ secret email risks Tory defection deluge to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK

SHOCKING REVEALED: How one ‘dreadful’ secret email risks Tory defection deluge to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK

REVEALED: How one 'dreadful' secret email risks Tory defection deluge to Nigel Farage's Reform UK

Nigel Farage hints at further defections as more MPs ‘pick up the blue rosette’ |

A “dreadful” secret email sent to former Tory MPs risks a defection deluge to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK, GB News has been told.

Conservative Campaign Headquarters last month sent a letter to 175 ex-MPs who lost their seats in the 2024 General Election.

Kemi Badenoch, a mock up of a secret letter, and Nigel Farage

The letter, hich allowed ex-MPs to express interest in standing for the Tories in 2029, comes after CCHQ tightened its rules for selecting candidates.

However, the letter will likely come as a blow to the around three-quarters of former Tory MPs hoping to return to the House of Commons.

Dozens of Tory big beasts lost their seats last summer, including ex-Prime Minister Liz Truss, former Commons Leader Dame Penny Mordaunt and Brexit supremo Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg.

GB News has been told that the letter was “daft”, “dreadful”, “tactless” and even “offensive”.

The People’s Channel can also reveal that ex-Tory MPs have warned Kemi Badenoch that the rule changes risk pushing more of their former colleagues into Mr Farage’s arms.

One ex-Tory MP said: “The one-size-fits-all email sent out by the Candidates Department to every former MP was tactless and offended a number of colleagues.”

Kemi Badenoch is being warned that a new email from CCHQ risks pushing ex-Tory MPs towards Nigel Farage

Another former Tory MP added: “It didn’t work on a phone, the link was unpredictable, long and asking questions which are just daft for any ex-Cabinet Ministers.

“It either does not point out Cabinet jobs, which is quite tricky to hide, or pigeon-holes ex-MPs by identifying them as being pro-Rishi, Liz, or Boris folk.”

A third ex-MP admitted that the process was so “dreadful” that they were going to “quietly keep out of it”.

During the Tory Party’s recent history, a number of high-profile Conservative MPs have been handed “second acts” after being ousted from the House of Commons.

Ex-Common Sense Minister Esther McVey was handed a second bite at the cherry after losing her then-seat of Wirral West in 2015, winning in Tatton in the 2017 General Election after former Chancellor George Osborne called time on his political career.

Michael Portillo, whose shock defeat at the 1997 General Election is now referred to whenever a Cabinet Minister loses their seat, was also parachuted into Kensington & Chelsea when a by-election was called in 1999.

However, removing an easy path for defeated Tory MPs to come back to the House of Commons has also sparked fears of further defections.

Ex-Wrexham MP Sarah Atherton, who lost her North Wales seat by 5,948 votes, this week quit the Conservatives and opened the door to joining another political party.

Ms Atherton had previously urged her Conservative colleagues to “embrace” Mr Farage.

Reform UK has already opened its arms to 11 former Tory MPs since rebranding from the Brexit Party.

Lee Anderson became the first Tory to join Reform UK, crossing the floor following a spat over his comments about London Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan.

Lucy Allan, Mark Reckless, Dame Andrea Jenkyns, Aidan Burley, David Jones, Marco Longhi, Ross Thomson, Anne Marie Morris, Sir Jake Berry, and Adam Holloway later confirmed they had also joined Reform UK.

The People’s Channel last night revealed ex-Tory MPs have admitted it appears increasingly likely that more of their former colleagues will join Reform UK.

A Brexit-backing ex-MP said: “The temptation to jump ship for some MPs and join Reform is a real option for some former Conservative MPs.

“With all former MPs having to reapply to CCHQ with no special dispensation being offered for their previous service, some are saying that’s a step too far and are exploring Reform where, they believe, they will be welcomed with open arms.”

Meanwhile, a Remain-supporting former Tory MP added: “It’s becoming incredibly likely, particularly for the more egotistical ex-colleague.”

However, a senior Reform UK source suggested Mr Farage was willing to block a large number of ex-Tory MPs from joining the turquoise tsunami.

“Reform has no room for deadbeat, failed Tories,” the Reform UK insider told GB News. “They ruined the country. Reform is the future.”

Another Reform source added: “The truth is that there are very few sitting or past Tory MPs who would really be welcome. Switchers are definitely considered on a case-by-case basis.”

Morning Live favourite announces last day on the BBC show as co-host reveals “we’re losing you”

Rav will be filming the new season of Crimewatch Live

Morning Live host Rav Wilding is stepping away from the BBC daytime show for the next three weeks as he prepares to front a new series of Crimewatch Live.

The announcement came during Friday’s (October 3) episode of Morning Live when Gaby Roslin turned to Rav and said: “Today is also your last day for three weeks. We’re losing you. You’re heading off to a wonderful Crimewatch Live, aren’t you?”

Rav nodded, confirming: “Yes, I’ve got a very important job to do. It’s going to start on Monday.”

The presenter also shared updates on who would be joining him during the upcoming series, while co-host Michelle Ackerley is off on maternity leave.

“Michelle’s very much involved. She’s made some films for us,” Rav explained. “But for the lives, we’ve got two presenters. We’ve got Steph McGovern and Jennifer Reoch.”

As footage of the new presenting line-up played on screen, Rav teased: “This is us yesterday in action, and actually one of them wants to have a little chat with us now.”

Steph McGovern then joined the conversation live to talk about her own personal connection to Crimewatch, revealing that she once worked behind the scenes on the programme.

“Yeah, it is [a full circle moment], because I started out at the BBC when I was 19,” she said. “One of my first jobs was as a call handler on Crimewatch. So, one of the team that’s taking all the calls from the viewers and getting information.”

She recalled one vivid memory. “Fiona Bruce was presenting. She came and sat on the table that I was at, and I was desperate to just turn around with my little headset on and be like: ‘Hi, mam.’”

Now, years later, Steph is thrilled to return, but this time, on camera. “It’s a full circle now to be presenting it with Rav. And obviously, Rav is like a Crimewatch legend, so it’s really exciting to be doing it.”

The new series of Crimewatch Live begins Monday, October 6, on BBC One at 10:45 am, continuing its mission to help solve cases by working with police and the public.

Rav Wilding remains at the forefront of the show, which he has helped turn into a daytime staple.

He’ll return to Morning Live in three weeks once filming wraps up. But until then, the team will be cheering him on from the studio.

Family of Manchester synagogue attacker 'strongly condemns heinous act' despite his father's warning: 'Bad news for Israel in the next few days'

Manchester synagogue victim may have been accidentally shot by police, Chief Constable says

Jihad Al-Shamie, named by police as the suspect in the terror 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬, was shot dead by firearm officers

The family of the suspected Manchester synagogue 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬er said they “strongly condemn the heinous action” – despite a post from his father of imminent “bad news for Israel” days before.

Jihad Al-Shamie, named by police as the suspect in the terror 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬, was shot dead following the incident at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Crumpsall yesterday morning.

On behalf of the Al-Shamie family, his father, Faraj Al-Shamie, posted a statement to social media today expressing their “deep shock and sorrow”.

The Facebook post read: “The news from Manchester regarding the terrorist 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 targeting a Jewish synagogue has been a profound shock to us.

Jihad Al-Shamie was named as the suspect in the 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 on the Manchester synagogue

“The Al-Shamie family in the UK and abroad strongly condemns this heinous act, which targeted peaceful, innocent civilians.

“We fully distance ourselves from this 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 and express our deep shock and sorrow over what has happened.

“Our hearts and thoughts are with the victims and their families, and we pray for their strength and comfort.”

The statement followed a now-deleted post, also by Mr Al-Shamie, on September 27, which read: “Bad news for Israel in the next few days.

    Jihad Al-Shamie

“Unfortunately, no one can prevent what is written.”

Faraj Al-Shamie posted a tribute on behalf of the family today

The suspected 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬er was a British national of Syrian descent who was granted citizenship in 2006 aged around 16, having entered Britain as a young child.

It is understood the 35-year-old’s name has not appeared in initial searches of police and security service records and he is not thought to have been under investigation.

His neighbours said he had lived in the Crumpsall area since around 2021.

One woman said: “We used to see him out in the garden working out, doing weights, press-ups.

In the now-deleted post, Faraj Al-Shamie said there was ‘bad news for Israel in the next few days’

“He used to change his clothes. One day he would be wearing the full gown, to the floor, and the next jeans and pyjama bottoms.”

Al-Shamie was shot within seven minutes of police being alerted to the incident, which took place on Yom Kippur, Judaism’s holiest day.

Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, both died and three others remain in hospital with serious injuries after the 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬.

One of the deceased victims and another who remains in hospital were accidentally shot by officers as they attempted to “bring the viscous 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 to an end”, Greater Manchester Police has admitted.

Chief Constable Sir Stephen Watson said in a statement today: “Overnight, we have taken advice from the Home Office Pathologist ahead of full post mortem examinations scheduled for later today.

“The Home Office Pathologist has advised that he has provisionally determined, that one of the deceased victims would appear to have suffered a wound consistent with a gunshot injury.

“It is currently believed that the suspect, Jihad Al Shamie, was not in possession of a firearm and the only shots fired were from GMP’s Authorised Firearms Officers as they worked to prevent the offender from entering the synagogue and causing further harm to our Jewish community.

Tributes have been left near to the synagogue following the 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 yesterday

“It follows therefore, that subject to further forensic examination, this injury may sadly have been sustained as a tragic and unforeseen consequence of the urgently required action taken by my officers to bring this vicious 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 to an end.”

It is thought the two gunshot victims were close together behind the door of the synagogue as worshippers “acted bravely to prevent the 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬er from gaining entry”.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) confirmed it launched an investigation into the incident “as is standard” following a fatal police shooting.

HEARTBREAKING: ITV Loose Women FORCED HALTED off air after HEARTBREAKING ANNOUNCEMENT leaves studio stunned and audience in shock.k

On Friday’s instalment of Loose Women, ITV viewers saw panellist Kaye Adams make a tragic announcement minutes into the show.

During the latest episode of Loose Women, ITV viewers were told the heartbreaking news that a beloved actress had died.

This comes after the show suffered a huge blunder this week, leaving one presenter red-faced.

As Friday’s show began, Kaye commented: “We want to remember Dame Patricia Routledge, who has died at the age of 96.

“We all loved her as the hilariously snobbish Hyacinth Bouquet, Hyacinth Bucket, in Keeping Up Appearances. So from all of us here at Loose, we are sending our best to her loved ones.

“She will be missed, she’s a true legend.” As Kaye finished her tribute, the live audience burst into a round of applause.

The actress played the hilarious Hyacinth Bucket in the BBC sitcom for five series as it ran from 1990 until 1995.

Her agent told the PA news agency on Friday that Patricia died ‘peacefully’ in her sleep and was surrounded by her loved ones.

A statement said: “We are deeply saddened to confirm the passing of Dame Patricia Routledge, who died peacefully in her sleep this morning, surrounded by love.

“Even at 96 years old, Dame Patricia’s passion for her work and for connecting with live audiences never waned, just as new generations of audiences have continued to find her through her beloved television roles.

“She will be dearly missed by those closest to her and by her devoted admirers around the world.”

Since the news of her death, tributes have been pouring in for the late star, who also appeared in the likes of Steptoe and Son and Coronation Street.

Jon Petrie, the BBC’s director of comedy, praised Patricia, calling her an actor of ‘remarkable range’

He said: “Her portrayal of Hyacinth Bucket in Keeping Up Appearances has to be one of the most iconic performances in British comedy,” he said.

“She took a character on the page and gave her such truth, precision and warmth that Hyacinth became part of the national conversation; instantly recognisable, endlessly quotable, and loved around the world.

“Whatever she did, she brought impeccable craft, and in doing so inspired generations of writers, performers and audiences.”

‘Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS!’ Matt Goodwin explodes over Keir Starmer’s actions in wake of Manchester synagogue attack

GB News Presenter Matt Goodwin calls out Keir Starmer for ‘helping to mainstream antisemitism’ |

The Prime Minister has vowed to protect Jewish communities

Matt Goodwin has launched a scathing 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 on Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s pledge to ensure Jewish safety following yesterday’s deadly assault at a Manchester synagogue.
Speaking on GB News, Matt branded the Prime Minister’s commitment “absolutely outrageous” in light of recent Government policies.

    Matt Goodwin and Keir Starmer
Matt lashed out at the Prime Minister

The criticism came after two local residents lost their lives in the 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 outside the synagogue.

The pollster argued that the Prime Minister’s assurances rang hollow given what he described as the government’s track record on issues affecting Jewish communities.

    Matt Goodwin
Matt Goodwin said the Labour Government has fostered an anti-Jewish sentiment across Britain

“If I was a member of Britain’s Jewish community, I would be scared, frightened, outraged,” Matt stated during the show, suggesting that the government’s actions contradicted its promises of protection.

Matt outlined several Government actions that he claimed undermined Jewish security. He accused the Labour administration of “rewarding and incentivising violent, extremist Islamism” through its decision to recognise Palestinian statehood.

The commentator also criticised what he characterised as the government’s tolerance of “months and months of anti-Semitic protests on the streets of our capital.” He further condemned immigration policies, describing them as “mass, open borders” that permitted entry to individuals whose backgrounds and beliefs remained unknown.

“We don’t know where they are from or what they believe and we are putting them into the heart of our communities,” Matt said.

    Keir Starmer and Shabana Mahmood
He added that the Government lacked any coherent approach to integrating new arrivals whilst overseeing continued large-scale immigration.

The Manchester synagogue 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 claimed the lives of Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz, both residents of the local area. Police identified the assailant as 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie, who was shot dead by officers at the scene.

In a tragic development, authorities revealed that one of the victims died from police gunfire during the confrontation with the 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬er. The incident has sent shockwaves through the Jewish community, already grappling with heightened security concerns.

The assault prompted an immediate response from the Prime Minister, who cut short his attendance at a European summit in Copenhagen to return to Britain. Sir Keir characterised the perpetrator as a “vile individual” driven by antisemitic hatred, targeting victims solely “because they are Jews.”

The Prime Minister addressed the nation with a personal message to Jewish citizens, acknowledging their fears in the wake of the 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬. “I know how much fear you will be holding inside of you. I really do,” he said, expressing both solidarity and regret that such anxieties persist in modern Britain.

Sir Keir, whose wife is Jewish, pledged comprehensive action to combat antisemitism. “I promise you that I will do everything in my power to guarantee you the security that you deserve,” he declared.

The Government announced immediate measures including enhanced police presence at synagogues across the country.

The Prime Minister emphasised his commitment to reassuring Jewish communities and defeating antisemitism, describing it as a national priority following the Manchester tragedy.

Matt directed particular criticism at Sir Keir’s political history, highlighting his tenure during Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour leadership.

The commentator accused the Prime Minister of having “basically helped to mainstream anti-Semitism in the main opposition party” during that period.

This charge relates to Starmer’s service as Shadow Brexit Secretary under Mr Corbyn, whose leadership faced investigation by the UK’s equalities watchdog for discrimination and harassment of Jews within Labour ranks.

Sir Keir assumed party leadership in 2020 and subsequently addressed these antisemitism allegations.

“We have let British Jews down,” Matt declared, asserting that this failure was apparent to all “except David Lammy, except Keir Starmer, except people on the Left.”

He concluded by accusing these political figures of being “the first people to draw these lines between rhetoric, tone and action.”

INCREDIBLE TRANSFORMATION! Gemma Collins Finally Reveals What She Eats in a Day After Shedding Three Stone on Mounjaro… Fans STUNNED by Her Daily Routine.k

Gemma Collins reveals what she eats in a day after shedding three stone on Mounjaro

‘I’m never going to be thin’

TV personality Gemma Collins has opened up about her dramatic weight loss after shedding more than three stone on Mounjaro.

The former TOWIE star, 44, says her days of obsessing over food are behind her thanks to the “life-changing” NHS-approved weight loss jab. She revealed that she now only eats one meal a day and rarely thinks about snacking.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun at the launch of Paddy Power and The Hippodrome Casino’s new Sportsbook venue in Leicester Square, Gemma was unapologetically candid about her journey with her body and why she’s proud to keep her signature curves.

Gemma Collins opens up about weight loss journey

“Nothing against skinny people, but I don’t ever want to be thin,” she declared. “Darling, I became most famous being who I am. If I got stick thin overnight, it would kill my brand, my endorsements, and it wouldn’t be me.”

The TV personality tipped the scales at over 23 stone and wore a size 26 at her heaviest.

However, she said she finally feels at peace in her own skin after battling body image issues for more than two decades.

Diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) at age 28, Gemma says her struggle with weight has been long and emotional. But taking Mounjaro has shifted her focus from appearance to health.

“I’m never going to be thin, and I’ve made peace with that,” she said.

Gemma gushed that she still “loves” her curves, and that losing weight has helped her “embrace” her natural body size.

‘I only eat once a day’

Gemma said her relationship with food has changed drastically since starting the Mounjaro jab in November 2024. Once preoccupied with constant cravings, she now finds food isn’t even on her mind most days.

“For me, taking the jab is more about helping me not to fixate on food. I actually only eat once a day now and don’t snack,” she explained. “I used to fascinate about food all day. But now it’s not a major player in my life anymore. I’ve forgotten all about it.”

Although she’s keeping her current weight private, she confirmed she’s lost more than three stone. However, the reality star is now more concerned with making smarter choices and maintaining a balanced mindset than reaching a certain dress size.

“If I get a bit hungry, I’ll have something to eat, but it’s just about smarter choices,” Gemma admitted.

Katie Price’s ‘disrespectful’ behaviour at stage show with Junior and Princess blasted

Katie Price and Kerry Katona’s stage show was branded a ‘rip-off’

Katie Price is facing backlash from fans who attended her joint stage show with Kerry Katona, with some calling the evening a “rip-off”.

An Evening with Katie Price & Kerry Katona promised a no-filter, behind-the-scenes look at the pair’s 20-year friendship.

But audience members at The Eric Morecambe Centre in Harpenden were left underwhelmed, calling the event “pointless” and “unprofessional”, with some even branding Katie’s behaviour as “disrespectful”.

Katie Price criticised for behaviour at stage show

The pair are said to have arrived on stage 20 minutes late, and several attendees felt that neither Katie nor Kerry made up for the delayed start.

One frustrated fan told The Sun: “They were 20 minutes late on stage, showing no respect for the audience’s time.”

The same guest added: “We had been promised salacious insider secrets. But I had to stop myself from falling asleep. Katie looked very poorly and incredibly thin. She hid behind a cushion, vaping with stress while her children were there. [She] looked and acted bored and uninterested.”

Katie’s children, Junior and Princess Andre, were present in the audience, alongside Kerry’s daughter Heidi. But some attendees expressed concern that Katie appeared stressed and distracted by their presence.

“She couldn’t host the show properly,” one guest complained.

‘All we got was boredom and bad banter’

The event had already been moved from its original St Albans venue to a smaller location. Some guests speculated that this was due to poor ticket sales.

Attendees said the content of the show didn’t match what had been promised. One described the evening as “dull as dishwater” and said it lacked the insider gossip and outrageous stories they’d been expecting.

Others claimed Kerry had to “carry the show” on her own, relying on swearing and vulgarity to fill the silence.

A brief Q&A segment featuring Princess and Kerry’s daughter Heidi was described by fans as “tame” and “completely pointless”, with one saying Katie “just sat there like a lemon” while Kerry struggled to keep the energy up.

Some attendees were especially irritated by what they saw as hypocrisy.

While the women spoke about wanting privacy and being tired of media intrusion, they also discussed how much money they make from setting up paparazzi shots. One person said this made them question “if they respected the audience spending hard-earned cash going to see them”.

As guests left, murmurs of disappointment were widespread, with several heard saying they regretted coming.

“It was not professional at all. There is a difference between being in the moment and being so unprepared that you struggle for anything to say. All we got was boredom and bad banter for the ticket price,” one attendee said bluntly.

ED! has contacted Katie and Kerry’s reps for comment.

Mr Stadlen told Mr Bhogal to put his finger down

Matthew Stadlen, a half-Jewish Briton, said that while the protests are in poor taste, they should be allowed to go ahead due to the dangerous precedent that could be set by banning them.

Political commentator Aman Bhogal hit back, demanding the protests are not allowed to go ahead due to how vulnerable the British-Jewish community is during this spell of mourning.

Tensions simmered to a point where Alex was forced to intervene and tell his guests to calm down.

Mr Stadlen said: “If you start banning certain marches, you have to ban other marches.

“I predicted violence on the Tommy Robinson march, but I didn’t think it should have been banned in advance.”

Mr Bhogal hit back: “Let’s break this down. I have this thing called the Gandhi test. If you’re doing a peaceful protest, the test of that should be, the people you are protesting against should feel safe walking through that protest.

“What you are saying is, British Jews’ rights are less than those who want to spout hate on our streets.”

“Utter nonsense”, Mr Stadlen hit back.

He then took issue with Mr Bhogal pointing his finger, demanding he puts it down.

“I am not going to have fingers pointed at me the day after an anti-Semitic attack”, he raged.

Tributes have been left near to the synagogue following the attack yesterday | PA“You stop defending the hate marches”, Mr Bhogal raged.

“I am going to put a stop to this right now”, Alex said, adding: “This is too heated. We need to show respect for the audience and respect for each other.

“We can disagree, but we must disagree respectfully.”

It comes after a terrorist assault on a Manchester synagogue during Thursday’s Yom Kippur observances left two members of the Jewish community dead and four others hospitalised with serious injuries.

The attack at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Crumpsall occurred at approximately 9:31am when an assailant used his vehicle to strike pedestrians before attempting to force entry into the building.

Armed police officers arrived within seven minutes and fatally shot the attacker, who was later identified as 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie, a British national of Syrian heritage.

Emergency services received the initial alert at 9:31am when a witness reported seeing a vehicle being deliberately driven at pedestrians and observing a stabbing victim.

Within six minutes, officers had arrived and activated “Plato” – the national emergency protocol for marauding terror incidents – declaring a major incident at 9:37am.

The assailant wore what appeared to be an explosive device strapped to his body, prompting bystanders to alert firearms officers about the potential bomb threat.

Social media footage captured the moment armed police confronted the suspect outside the synagogue entrance.
