Loose Women is set to make its comeback next Monday, July 14, at its regular slot of 12.30pm.

The 67 year old television personality has previously been candid about her struggles with addiction in her youth, and made the decision to become sober 13 years ago.

Tears welled up as Nadia consoled her, praising Denise as “the most proud, present mum”, prompting Denise to reply: “Matty and I talk about it, and we’re so close I just wish I could do it again”.

As Christine brought up Matty’s success headlining Glastonbury with his band The 1975, Denise expressed: “I’m incredibly proud, it’s just when I look at things, why couldn’t I? You know..”

    Bữa sáng của BBC

BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty announced the tragic d3ath of Jane Goodall, sharing the news with viewers during Thursday’s broadcast. The British primatologist, known for her ground-breaking studies involving chimpanzees, was 91. Fronting the programme alongside Charlie Stayt, Naga told viewers: “The British zoologist and animal rights campaigner Dame Jane Goodall has d!ed at the age of 91. Dame Jane spent six decades studying the social and family interactions of chimpanzees in the wild and was considered the world’s foremost expert on them.”

BBC Breakfast reporter Graham Satchell looked back on her life, explaining how Jane’s discoveries “completely changed” our understanding of chimpanzees. In her later life, Goodall dedicated her time to conservation, becoming an “outspoken and widely respected” activist.

    Jane Goodall

Goodall d!ed from “natural causes” on Wednesday in California where she was on a speaking tour of the United States.

A statement on her Facebook page read: “The Jane Goodall Institute has learned this morning, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, that Dr. Jane Goodall DBE, UN Messenger of Peace and Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute has passed away due to natural causes. She was in California as part of her speaking tour in the United States.

“Dr. Goodall’s discoveries as an ethologist revolutionised science, and she was a tireless advocate for the protection and restoration of our natural world.”

Her research journey began when she was just 26-years-old in East Africa in 1960, where she observed chimpanzees and unveiled their ability to engage in complex social behaviours such as tickling.

In a 1986 interview with the BBC, she revealed: “Apparently, from the time I was about one and a half or two, I used to study insects, anything, and this gradually evolved and developed and grew and then I read books like Dr Dolittle and Tarzan, then it had to be Africa that was my goal.”

The report sparked a wave of tributes from viewers, with one writing: “Amazing lady RIP.”

Another posted: “Mrs Jane Goodall was an excellent scientist. She insisted all apes have human rights. We can make wisdom to coexist with nature through her research results. May she rest in peace.”

A third echoed: “No one understood those innocent Chimps as much as world-famous Primatologist and Chimpanzee Expert Dr. Jane Goodall, fought for them as an activist and brought more awareness about these poor souls. Rest in Peace Jane.”

Thursday’s instalment of Good Morning Britain was halted for a breaking announcement delivered by host Kate Garraway as a flotilla attempting to deliver aid to Gaza had been intercepted by the Israeli military. Members of the IDF were on a number of boats overnight – including one carrying human rights activist Greta Thunberg. Israel’s foreign ministry has stated that Greta and others detained were “safe and healthy”.

Garraway began: “The Israeli military has intercepted a flotilla attempting to deliver aid to Gaza. Members of the IDF boarded a number of ships overnight, including one carrying the activist Greta Thunberg.

A spokesperson for the flotilla says 13 boats have been intercepted, accusing Israel of carrying out illegal attacks on unarmed humanitarian ships.

“Israel’s Foreign Minister has responded by saying that Greta and her friends are safe and healthy and that passengers have been taken to an Israeli port.”

She continued by saying around 30 boats are still sailing and showed a graphic which revealed a number of boats making their way across the Mediterranean in their attempt to breach that Israeli blockade and reach Gaza.

The news comes after Thunberg and fellow activists were previously detained in an Israeli prison for days after another flotilla was intercepted by the military.

Palestinian politician Hanan Ashrawi has blasted Israel’s interception by describing it as a “criminal act of piracy” in international waters.

Meanwhile, Ashrawi, a former member of the Palestine Liberation Organisation’s executive committee, said: “They’re putting their lives on the line by actively intervening [and] demonstrating the real meaning of solidarity [and] human empathy.”

Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays from 6am on ITV and ITVX.

Strictly Come Dancing star Ross King was left fighting back tears as he spoke out on his future routine after a low score from the judges last week.

The US showbiz reporter, who is known for his work on Lorraine, took to the dancefloor for the first show on Saturday night and performed the cha cha cha alongside pro partner Jowita Przystał.

Ross kicked off his routine in spectacular fashion, sliding down a red slide and Jowita then joined him on the dance floor in a sparkly outfit.

Despite putting in all efforts to impress the judges, it wasn’t enough as Craig scored him a 2, Motsi scored him a 3, Shirley scored him a 2 and Anton scored him a 3.

With a combined score of 10, it is the second lowest score in show history. Ross and Jowita appeared on Strictly spin off It Takes Two on Wednesday (October 1) night and it’s clear the score has affected Ross’s confidence as he admitted: “I’m completely out of my comfort zone.”

In a candid moment, while speaking to host Janette Manrara, Ross opened up and said: “I have never danced and I can’t dance. At one point I did go ‘maybe I need to put my hand up and go this is not for me’ because I didn’t think I would get through the routine from start to finish. So to start it and finish I was really happy.”

Touching on his performance, he joked: “I think Jowita tried to kill me with the slide at the beginning. I nearly took out three cameramen.”

He continued: “I was also really disappointed with Craig because I thought we were giving him the perfect downhill Ross but it was downhill all the way after that.”

The star was visibly moved as he explained: “It’s completely out of my comfort zone but I’m so lucky to have this special lady by my side to get me through it and to keep building me up and my confidence.”

Turning to his professional dance partner, he said: “You’ve never once lost your temper with me, lost patience with me. I don’t think people realise the job the professionals do. What they have to deal with. You’re like a therapist and a trainer.”

Looking on to his upcoming performance on Saturday night, Ross became tearful as he shared the emotional reason behind his song choice.

The star will be taking to the dance floor to perform the waltz to Sunshine on Leith by Proclaimers. As they watched a clip from rehearsal today, Jowita praised her partner as she said: “Ross is doing so well. I think ballroom is more close to his heart because Ross loves a heel lead so this time, it is allowed. He can do it and loves the song.”

Fighting back tears, Ross admitted: “I get tearful every time. Even now.” Jowita jumped in: “It’s beautiful because the song means a lot to him and we are dancing for Scotland this week so we are dedicating this dance to Scotland.”

Ross added: “I think what the judges said I took a lot from it and I paid attention to what they were saying.”

Maureen Nolan reveals she's having a facelift next week | Daily Mail Online

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan has revealed which of her sisters had an affair with one of her past boyfriends, as she opened up on the ‘shocking and hurtful’ betrayal.

The singer, 60, who was previously in band The Nolan Sisters alongside her siblings, opened up to her fellow ITV panellists as they discussed cheating in a show segment.

Coleen shocked her co-stars Jane Moore and Mariella Frostrup when she made the admission while discussing upcoming scenes on Coronation Street.

Fans of the soap have watched on this week as Sue Devaney’s Debbie Webster discovered that her brother Carl, played by Jonathan Howard, had been sleeping with his sister-in-law, Sally Carman-Duttine’s Abi.

Debbie was left with a dilemma as she struggled to know what to do with the information, finally giving Abi an ultimatum: to be honest, or she would tell everyone.

Coleen then recalled the time that she found herself in a similar situation, when her sister Maureen, 71, told her one of her sisters had been involved with her boyfriend.

Coleen, who was in band The Nolan Sisters with (right to left) Bernie, Maureen and Linda, admitted she was told about the affair by one of her siblings

She explained: ‘I was seeing somebody, living with him for two years and then my sister ended up being with him.

‘Maureen told me, and I knew anyway. I was deciding at the time that I didn’t want to be with the guy but it was still shocking and hurtful.

‘We never fell out because I thought he wasn’t worth losing my sister over, and also, a bit snide of me, I loved sitting back and seeing how long it would last, and it didn’t!’

She then revealed it was her late sister Bernie, who passed away in 2013 when the breast cancer she was battling spread to her brain, lungs, liver and bones, that was involved.

Kaye, 62, asked Coleen whether she felt ‘betrayed’ by her sister, or if she placed the blame more on the boyfriend caught in the middle.

Coleen added: ‘I was more betrayed by probably my sister at the time.

‘We grew up as six girls and we had the same taste in guys, the difference is with me is that it was fight to the death for the guy but when he picked who he wanted, that was it.

‘Obviously, it went a bit further than that with those two.’

The singer admitted that she finally confronted Bernie in their dressing room, admitting that her sibling ‘knew she had learned the truth’ as ‘soon as she saw her’.

She continued: ‘I remember seeing her for the first time, we were working together, sharing a dressing room. I walked in and knew she knew.

‘I just said “Can I borrow that lipstick?” I just thought, let them get on with it.’

Coleen said she felt it was only right for Maureen to inform her of what was going on behind the scenes, even if it was ‘hurtful’.

‘It was right for her to do, it would’ve been really hard for Bernie to face me,’ she added.

‘Maureen telling me gave me time to process it before I kind of met up. We were fine after that, honestly. Absolutely fine. And they didn’t last anyway.’

It comes after Lorraine left the Loose Women panel open-mouthed with an outrageous comment about her sex life with husband Steve Smith – and Kaye Adams gasped ‘I’ve never heard you speak like this before!’

The 65-year-old, who has been married to Steven since 1992, appeared on the ITV show to chat the the ladies about her important Change + Check campaign – which promotes breast cancer awareness.

‘Which is great, don’t just check your boobs once a year, that’s daft, once a moment, every two weeks,  it’s really up to you, It’s about your normal though. some people do have lumpy boobies,’ Lorraine replied.

She added: ‘It’s whatever suits you, for me I do it once a month, but my husband checks my boobies quite regularly.’

Strictly Come Dancing star Tom Skinner is reportedly being supported by his co-stars on the BBC dancing show after fans quipped bosses wanted him out first with the song choice for next week

Tom Skinner has been supported by his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars as he is dealt a huge blow ahead of the next live show. The former Apprentice star has been partnered with fan favourite Amy Dowden on the BBC show.

The first person will leave the competition this week, with fans soon able to vote for their favourite contestant. The songs have been released for next week and Tom will be dancing a Salsa in the coming week of the competition.

However, fans have noted that Tom has had two Latin dances – traditionally considered harder – back to back in the first two weeks and quipped that bosses are “setting him up for fall”. Tom and Amy will Salsa to Bonkers by Dizzie Rascal.

Tom danced a Paso Doble in the first week

One fan quipped: “The song for Skinner… Oh, they want him out bad,” whilst another shared: “Oh Thomas is being set up for a fall.” A third wrote: “Two Latin dances back to back and Bonkers for a Salsa is a horrible song choice.”

A Strictly source added: “It’s bonkers to suggest that dancing to a multi-platinum number one single is any sort of disadvantage.”

Sources have now revealed that Tom is being supported by his co-stars and he has grown a great bond with Amy. “Tom is just your average person who’s been flung into a frenzy of hate ever since signing up to Strictly,” the source told The Sun.

“He’s rising above it all, but of course it would get anyone down. That’s why the support from his Strictly co-stars has meant so much to him. Tom has turned out to be one of the most popular members of the cast – and they’re all very protective of him. He’s now just focused on his training and soaking up every moment of this weird and wonderful experience.

“Him and Amy have been getting on so well. They haven’t stopped laughing. They can’t wait to show fans what they’ve put together for their dance this week. It’s going to be… bonkers.”

Tom Skinner has hit the headlines as of late for all the wrong reasons. In recent weeks, the TV star admitted to a fling shortly after marrying his wife Sinéad in 2022. Speaking openly about the affair, he said: “I had a fling, I suppose, it was nothing more than that, it was the one time, it was a mistake, then I woke up feeling absolutely terrible about it.”

And earlier this week, the Mirror exclusively revealed one of Thomas Skinner’s firms has not paid back a £50,000 Covid bounce back loan – despite the star boasting about turning over “millions” during the pandemic

BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty shared some heartbreaking news live on air following the tragic d3ath of a British zoologist.

During Thursday’s (October 2) episode of the BBC hit show, the presenter returned to our TV screens alongside co-host Charlie Stayt as they presented the day’s top stories.

Things took an emotional turn as the hosts paused the show to honour the memory of animal rights campaigner, Dame Jane Goodall, who passed away at the age of 91 on Wednesday (October 1).

Opening the devastating segment, Naga explained: “Dame Jane spent six decades studying the social and family interactions of chimpanzees in the wild and was considered the world’s foremost expert on them.”

The primatologist was in California when she died from “natural causes”. The Jane Goodall Institute said in a statement on Wednesday.

A statement shared to Facebook said: “The Jane Goodall Institute learned this morning, Wednesday 1 October 2025, that Dr Jane Goodall DBE, UN Messenger of Peace and founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, has passed away from natural causes. She was in California as part of her speaking tour in the United States.

“Dr Goodall’s discoveries as an ethologist transformed science, and she was a tireless advocate for the protection and restoration of the natural world.”

Tributes have since poured in for the ethologist, who began researching free-living chimpanzees in Tanzania in 1960, a time when it was unheard of for a woman to venture into the wilds of Africa.

Former US president Barack Obama, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are among those who paid tribute.

They fondly remembered how Dame Jane held their son, Prince Archie, as a newborn baby and “showered love and care to those who were privileged to know her”.

The Royal couple expressed their deep sorrow at her passing, stating: “Dr Jane Goodall DBE was a visionary humanitarian, scientist, friend to the planet, and friend to us.

“Her commitment to changing lives extends beyond what the world saw, and also to what we personally felt. She held our son, Archie, when he was first born, and showered love and care to those who were privileged to know her. She will be deeply missed.”

STRICTLY TRAGEDY: Harry Aikines-Aryeetey BREAKS DOWN in Tears Backstage as INJURY Forces Him OUT of Show in EMOTIONAL MESSAGE

Strictly's Harry Aikines-Aryeetey fights back tears reflecting on injury setback

Strictly star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey has shared that he broke down in tears minutes before his first live show on Saturday night (September 27).

He and Karen Hauer performed the cha cha to Push It by Salt-n-Pepa, and ended up with a score of 19.

This put them towards the top of the leaderboard. But despite this success, Harry admits his experience was undercut by emotion. Now he’s admitted that, as well as crying to host Tess Daly during the first live show, Harry was also emotional before going on stage…

Harry sustained an injury while training for season 2 of Gladiators (Credit: BBC)

What happened to Strictly star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey?

Harry is best known as Nitro on the series Gladiators. But when he sustained an injury, he had to withdraw from season 2 of the BBC show.

The lingering emotional impact of this, coupled with first-dance nerves, led Harry to shed secret tears backstage on Saturday. He explained all in a candid interview on The One Show alongside Karen last night (September 30).

“Yeah, it hit me,” he admitted. “I got overwhelmed with emotion because not a lot of people know the extent of the injury that I had prior, which saw me out of series 2 of Gladiators. But, you know, quite often we question ourselves, we go through a few lows. And, for me, I am a big ball of energy.”

He also credited being part of the Strictly line-up with helping him get one step closer to returning to his “true self”.

“When you don’t know if you’re going to be what you once was, just in terms of your personality, being on that dance floor and being able to show my true self and be that person again, it just meant so much,” he added.

He said the same on Saturday night when he broke down in tears to Strictly host Tess Daly. He told her: “I never thought I’d be myself again and it just feels so nice to be myself. I didn’t even know if I’d be able to walk right.”

‘It put a strain on our family’

Last summer, while training for the second season of Gladiators, he ruptured his kneecap. This led to him having surgery and being on strict bed rest. As a result of this, Harry said he went through “a tough time mentally” as he wondered whether he’d ever be able to be physical again.

“For athletes, obviously, our body is our tool and I wasn’t confident that I was going to be back sprinting or back to being Nitro,” he added. “It put a strain on our family and put a strain on my well-being.”

Strictly gave him ‘something to smile about’

Then, at the perfect time, the opportunity to perform on Strictly’s Christmas show came up.

“We configured a plan for me to work my way around the dance floor, and I’m so thankful for that opportunity because it gave me something to smile about,” he shared.

Since then, Harry has made a full recovery, having recently filmed season 3 of Gladiators.

Yet, he still has one reservation about his second stint on Strictly. “My big fear is not enjoying it,” he admitted. “Not going out with a smile on my face and embracing it but being caught up in with the nerves of it all. The judges are amazing. I hope that I can make them smile.”

EXPLOSIVE: Rylan Clark Refuses To Back Down After Hundreds Of Complaints Leave Viewers Demanding Answers

The Remark That Lit the Fire

The storm erupted on This Morning, when Rylan made a blunt, no-nonsense comment that divided opinion across the nation. By nightfall, hundreds of furious viewers had lodged formal complaints to Ofcom, accusing him of being “too harsh” and “unprofessional.”

For many TV personalities, such a flood of criticism would have sent alarm bells ringing. But Rylan isn’t like many presenters.

“Complaining Is Your Right — Not Apologising Is Mine”

Sources close to the star say Rylan has made it clear he won’t back down or soften his words.

“Complaining is your right,” he reportedly told friends.
    “But not apologising is mine.”

Far from being rattled, Rylan has embraced the controversy — telling those around him he stands firmly by every word and will not be silenced by public pressure.

    A Nation Divided

The fallout has left Britain sharply split. Critics accuse him of being reckless and chasing headlines. Supporters counter that he’s the only one brave enough to speak truths others won’t dare say.

💬 “Rylan speaks the truth — and that’s why people love him,” one fan insisted.
💬 “If honesty is a crime, then we’re all guilty.”

    What Comes Next

With Ofcom now weighing whether to escalate the complaints, questions loom over what this means for Rylan’s career. Some insiders warn the row could damage his reputation, while others believe it will only cement his image as television’s most fearless voice.

For now, one thing is clear: Rylan Clark isn’t backing down. Whether you love him or loathe him, his message to the nation is unmistakable — he will never apologise for telling the truth.
