UNBELIEVABLE: ITV’s Loose Women Divides Viewers After SERIOUS Error

Kelly Brook speaking on Loose Women

ITV daytime show Loose Women was hit with a “weird” blunder today, that left some viewers feeling a tad baffled.

Today’s panel featured Jane Moore anchoring, with Kelly Brook, Mariella Frostrup and Sunetra Sarker also booked to appear.

However, their initial appearance on the lunchtime talk show appeared to be hit with a bit of a blunder…

ITV show Loose Women gets off to disastrous start

Things started off strangely as the Loose Women theme tune started, then restarted, before the studio audience started to clap.

It’s usually then that the sliding doors open and the four ladies appear and take their seats at the desk. However, that didn’t happen today (September 30).

Instead, as the theme tune came to an end, the ladies still hadn’t appeared.

The cameras panned to the audience, who looked a little confused. Then the cameras panned to the desk, which was empty.

The sliding doors then finally began to open, to reveal Jane, Kelly, Mariella and Sunetra giggling as they waved to the audience.

    ‘WTF was that?’

None of the panel addressed their delayed entrance at the start to the show. But viewers were quick to take to the hashtag to point out the technical blunder.

“WTF was that?!” asked one viewer who tuned in at the top of the show. Another added: “That was weird.” “Why didn’t they explain what happened?” another asked.

The rest of the show continued without incident, with the closing credits rolling as normal.

    Live TV blunders

It’s not the first live TV blunder that has happened in the past few days, though.

Over the weekend, the BBC came a cropper when La Voix’s pink pony refused to descend from the sky on the first live Strictly show of the season.

Host Claudia Winkleman was forced to fill until the hitch was addressed, with the pony remaining static on the floor during the routine.

SH0CKING: Strictly Audience Left Stunned As Ellie Goldstein Receives Unexpected Support From Pro Dancers During Cha-Cha-Cha

Strictly fans have voiced their concerns for Ellie Goldstein as the ‘upset’ star appeared to be comforted by professional dancers on the first live show.

The model, 23, is paired in this year’s competition with pro Vito Coppola and is already a favourite with fans.

She is the show’s first ever contestant with Down syndrome and on Saturday night performed a cha-cha-cha to Yes, And? by Ariana Grande – earning 17 points.

But later on in the show as host Claudia Winkleman spoke to a La Voix and Aljaž Škorjanec about their routine, Ellie appeared to get upset.

She was supported by professional dancers Dianne BuswellKaren Hauer and contestant Harry Aikines-Aryeetey who put their arms around her and looked to be quietly speaking to her.

Those watching at home noticed the moment and penned on X: ‘I’ve noticed Ellie looking uncomfortable. Also noticed her being supported by other dancers.’,

‘Ellie looks a bit upset so it’s lovely to see Harry and Karen comforting her #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing.’,

‘Watching #Strictly last night, I noticed that Ellie appeared upset, and was being comforted/reassured by Karen and, I think, Harry?.’,

    ‘Is Ellie ok? #strictly.’

After the live show she took to Instagram however to share a positive message to say she’d had an ‘amazing day’.

It comes after last week Ellie declared she wants to be an inspiration to other people with disabilities after becoming the show’s first ever contestant with Down syndrome.

She said the competition would give her opportunity to show ‘what she was capable of’.

When Ellie was born, doctors said that she would ‘never walk or talk’, and one nurse devastatingly suggested that her parents might want to ‘leave her’ at the hospital.

But she has defied all expectations going on to model for Vogue and star in CBBC’s Malory Towers, before signing up for Strictly.

Ahead of Saturday’s first live show Ellie said: ‘Being the first contestant with Down syndrome in the main Strictly series gives me the chance to show everyone who I am, what I’ve achieved, and what I’m capable of’.

‘I hope I can be an inspiration to others watching at home – and most of all, I hope I make people smile and feel happy when they see me dancing!’.

Gucci hired Ellie for its Unconventional Beauty adverts, landing her the cover of Italian Vogue in 2020.

She has graced the covers of numerous magazines, including Elle and Glamour, featured in promotions for Gucci Beauty, Adidas, TK Maxx, Body Shop, Boots, Spotify, Victoria’s Secret and Sports Direct, and even hung in the National Portrait Gallery in London on two occasions.

Ellie has been flown to Sweden, Italy and Germany for photoshoots, and has just strutted her stuff on the catwalk at London Fashion Week.

When Mattel launched its first Barbie with Down’s syndrome, the company hired the star to help promote the doll.

‘I’ve done so much modelling and I love it,’ she previously told Daily Mail.

The Traitors Host Claudia Winkleman Drops Bombshell Claim About BBC Decision That Left Viewers In Total Shock

Claudia Winkleman has been crucial to the success of The Traitors.

But the host of the BBC hit show revealed that bosses ignored her when she made a plea not to make a celebrity version.

As the programme prepares to broadcast its first celebrity special next Wednesday, Ms Winkleman, 53, added: ‘My bosses, thank goodness, ignored everything I said.’

Ms Winkleman, who has won a Bafta for presenting the show, has hosted the TV game since 2022.

Yesterday the BBC released the first photograph of Ms Winkleman around the round table at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands with the celebrity contestants.

Ms Winkleman said it was ‘scarier’ presenting a celebrity version. She said: ‘I could barely breathe when I saw them all in the Highlands. I’m such a fan of every single one of them.

‘The whole team were just in awe, it was hard not to scream ‘You’re here!’ When I talked to Stephen Fry I almost welled up, I told him, ‘This was my dream’.

‘Each one of them is tremendous.’

Celebrity Traitors, which was pre-recorded earlier this year, launches on October 8 on BBC One and iPlayer. It will air every Wednesday and Thursday, with nine episodes in total.

The celebrities include TV historian David Olusoga, actress Ruth Codd, singer Cat Burns, YouTube prankster Niko Omilana and comedian Lucy Beaumont.

On Monday, fans were treated to the first trailer for Celebrity Traitors, showing there is plenty of excitement and drama in store.

The teaser showed the 19 famous faces arriving at the famous Ardross Castle, ready and raring to play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hopes of winning up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

Whilst most of the celeb participants have remained tight-lipped about the show, Stephen Fry gave an insight into his ’emotionally violent’ stint on the series, likening the experience to ‘a Chinese foot massage’ as he praised the programme

Speaking on The Show People podcast, the actor explained: ‘It was a bit like a Chinese foot massage. You know it is absolutely agony but you sort of want to do it again. It is emotionally violent but you kind of love it.

‘Obviously, I can’t say a word about what is in this recently recorded celebrity version I suppose. I am certainly not telling you if I am a traitor or a faithful. I am one or the other.

‘I have said no to any number of Strictlys and Get Me Out of Heres as it is just not my kind of thing. But this, I watched the first and second series and it is such a clever game.’

He added: ‘It’s so extraordinary what it does to the psychology of the individual. And I just thought it would be really interesting to play it. And what an opportunity to do so. And that’s what I found.’

As anticipation builds for the first ever UK celebrity iteration, the salaries of the high-profile cast were recently revealed by The Rest Is Entertainment podcast.

Rather than being paid individual wages, all of the celebrities were paid the same £40,000 fee to appear on the show, according to journalist Marina Hyde.

‘It’s certainly interesting to compare something like Celebrity Traitors on the BBC to I’m a Celebrity on ITV,’ she told her co-host Richard Osman while discussing BBC wages generally.

‘Although we haven’t seen the celebrity iteration yet, but we know it’s gonna be massive. Look at the calibre of the people they got.’

‘They were able to pay everybody a blanket 40k fee, right? I am spilling all my tea today. They’re paying them a 40k fee,’ she shared.

The TV star has since been replaced by fellow Love Island winner Amber Davies, who since her time on the ITV2 programme has carved out an impressive career in musical theatre and is due to star in a new production of Legally Blonde, but she took to social media on Sunday night to update fans on how she is doing.

Dani admitted she had been ‘so excited’ to hit the dancefloor and is just trying to take each and every day as it comes whilst she is on the road to recovery.

In further photos that she posted into the carousel, Dani showed the get well soon flowers she has received and a shot of her television screen revealed that she is now watching The Summer I Turned Pretty as she gets back to health. Dani took to social media to share her devastation of the news in an emotional statement, and the news was met with sorrow from her fellow dancers on the hit BBC show.

Taking to Instagram, Dani, who shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show in 2018, said: “I had a fall on Friday in rehearsals and landed funny. I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up badly over the weekend and after an MRI scan yesterday, it turns out I have fractured my ankle.

“Apparently doing the quickstep on a fracture is not advisable (!!) and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance so l’ve had to pull out of the show. To say I’m heartbroken is the biggest understatement. I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on.”

Following the news, Sarah James, Executive Producer, BBC Studios added: “Dani has brought so much passion, joy and enthusiasm to Strictly, and her partnership with Nikita was off to the most sensational start.

“Everyone on the show is incredibly sad that she’s no longer able to compete in this year’s series. We send her all our love and best wishes for a swift recovery, and we very much hope to welcome her back to the ballroom in the future.”

CONTROVERSY: BBC Faces Backlash After Mastermind Contestant Triumphs With Controversial Topic That Fans Say Should Never Count

Mastermind fans blasted the BBC for ‘dropping its standards’ after a contestant on the quiz show won having specialised in children’s cartoon The Simpsons.

Viewers were left furious that the subject choice ‘wasn’t serious enough’ as contender Danielle faced Clive Myrie in the hot seat for her opening round.

The admin assistant was competing against a global health consultant specialising in composer Chopin, a digital designer specialising in the plays of Samuel Beckett and a teacher specialising in the life of American activist Gloria Steinem.

It was revealed that Danielle would be answering questions based on the first ten series of the popular cartoon, which was first launched in the 1990s.

Among the questions the contestant had to face were: ‘What was the name of the dog the Simpsons adopt in the first episode?’ and ‘what is the name of the Simpsons’ local newspaper?’

Scoring an impressive 11 points in the first round, and using no passes, Danielle then went on to score another 13 points in the second general knowledge round as she went head to head with health consultant Omair.

Clive, 61, congratulated Danielle: ‘In the lead with 24 is Danielle, so she goes through to the semi-final, congratulations to her.’

Celebrating her win, the admin assistant then told the camera: ‘I can’t believe it to be honest, it’s not what I expected really signing up, I just thought give it a go and at least to be a part of it.

‘But to actually win, I don’t think I really heard it when Clive said it. I’ve never been on a quiz show before, it’s been brilliant.

‘The main person cheering me on at home is mum – and I got into quiz shows by watching the BBC’s quizzing Mondays, just the two of us. We always try to keep a little tally.

‘Going into the semi-finals, I feel quite nervous now, it didn’t even occur to me that there would be another topic to learn so it’s quite exciting that there will be something else to learn, so there’s more prep now’.

Taking to X after the show, some viewers were left furious that Danielle had managed to surpass the other, more historical, specialist subjects chosen.

One penned: ‘Simpsons season 10? Has Mastermind dropped its standards?’ as a second fumed: ‘The Simpsons. This isn’t a serious programme anymore.’

A third added: ‘Ffs…. The Simpsons, as a specialist subject? I got 8 correct!’ as a fourth chimed in: ‘Simpsons. I dunno. Lots of material, but not exactly highbrow.’

Another penned: ‘The Simpsons. Oh, p**s, right, off!’

Others stepped in to defend Danielle, with one writing: ‘All Simpsons fans are smart so no surprise she won. She knew her Simpsons stuff certainly.’

A second agreed: ‘The Simpsons seasons 1-10 – that would’ve been my specialist subject choice!’

While a third gushed: ‘Attractive AND a fan of the best seasons of The Simpsons. What more could you ask for?’

It comes after Mastermind viewers erupted in outrage last week as host Clive was accused of ‘robbing’ a contestant of his place in the finale after a ‘very harsh’ ruling on a Shakespeare question.

Contestant Alan was tackling his general knowledge round when Myrie asked: ‘In which Shakespeare play is Titania, queen of the fairies, attended to by other fairies named Peasblossom, Cobweb, Moth and Mustard Seed?’

Alan confidently replied: ‘A Midsummer’s Night Dream.’

The slip – a misplaced apostrophe and extra ‘s’ – proved costly as Myrie refused to award the point, firmly telling him: ‘No. It’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.’

Alan, taking the ruling in good humour, continued calmly with his questions and went on to finish with a respectable 19 points.

The winning contestant ultimately secured just one point more than Alan, meaning the Shakespeare ruling could well have changed the outcome.

    Kelly Brook on Loose Women

During today’s (September 30) episode of Loose Women, Kelly Brook opened up about the “pain” she felt after losing her baby.

For Tuesday’s show, Kelly was joined by her fellow panelists Jane Moore, Mariella Frostrup and Sunetra Sarker. During the second half, the ITV daytime programme welcomed Kelsey Parker, who opened up about losing her son, Phoenix.

Phoenix was stillborn 39 weeks into Kelsey’s pregnancy earlier this summer. The 35 year old was due to welcome her baby with boyfriend Will Lindsay.

In 2022, her husband Tom Parker died from a brain tumour, with who she shared two children, daughter Aurelia, six, and son Bodhi, four.

    Kelly Brook praises Kelsey Parker

While opening up about her grief and the tough few years she’s had, Kelly admitted to Kelsey that she had gone through a similar experience to her after losing her dad to cancer in 2007 and then her baby while pregnant in 2011.

“At the time when I lost my baby, miscarriage wasn’t really something we talked about a lot,” she admitted.

“I just remember at the time, my mum stepping in and being a real mumma bear to me and wanting to protect me from the pain I was going through. I was dealing with questions I hadn’t even come to terms with. Like ‘Did you have a name for your baby?’ ‘How would you like to remember them?’”

The former Big Breakfast host explained that she and her mum “both shut down” and “treated it as a miscarriage”.

She told Kelsey: “I think, if I had seen someone like yourself or even Myleene [Klass] and other women in the public eye talking so publicly and openly and bravely like this, I think I would have dealt with it a lot differently.”

Kelly admitted she felt like “the only one it was happening to” as she explained why it’s so important for others to open up.

    Viewers offer their support

After both women opened up about their tragic situations, viewers rushed to social media to share their support.

Kelsey Parker is such a strong lady,” one user wrote on X.

“Kelly I just want to give you a hug,” another person shared.

“What a beautiful soul Kelsey Parker is,” a third remarked.

Her role in Emmerdale saw her join the Dingle clan. Her character, Joanie Dingle, first appeared in 2013. She was the reason for Zak and Lisa’s divorce and she later tied the knot with Zak.

However, her time in the Dales came to an end after her character’s sudden death in 2017 following a heart attack.

Months after her exit, she was back in front of the Corrie cameras. At the time, viewers were left stunned after Denise returned to stop Daniel killing Ken. The desperate scenes saw Denise’s character return in desperate circumstances after her son looked like he was about to kill Corrie’s longest standing character.

At the time, Ken had a showdown with Daniel after discovering he attacked him, demanding to know why he bashed him over the head with a book.

The pair had a heated argument about the attack as Ken begged his son to let him go free before a knock at the door startled the pair. It turned out to be Denise, who had fled from the family home in 2007, leaving a teenage Daniel to fend for himself.

Speaking at the time about her return to the soap, she said she had been so keen to bond with Rob Mallard – who plays her on screen son – she stayed on the sofa in his home so they could rehearse together.

Denise said: “I had to go back and watch Denise Osbourne from the early 90s which is very strange because that is a long time ago and a different me. It is really hard, I could hardly recognise myself I thought ‘god I am hot!’. What happened?

TV CHAOS: This Morning’s Cat Deeley makes HEARTBREAKING STATEMENT About Her Hosting Role

Cat Deeley's This Morning future revealed after shock confession about exit | Metro News

This Morning has reportedly been thrown into chaos amid speculation that Cat Deeley could step back from her role presenting the show.

A source has alleged that 48-year-old Cat is thinking about quitting when her contract ends in spring next year after she split from her husband, Patrick Kielty, earlier this year. The pair share two sons, nine-year-old Milo and James, seven.

    Cat ‘might need a break’

“Cat’s been a total pro since stepping into the job. But she’s been going through a lot personally since splitting from her husband, and it’s taken a toll. This Morning was a lifeline during the hardest days, but she’s thinking she might need a break. She’s realised how much she wants to be there for her boys and is thinking about the long-term and what will give her happiness and stability,” the source said.

The presenter joined This Morning permanently in March 2024. She joined alongside Ben Shephard after Holly Willoughby quit the show. Before This Morning, she lived in the US – where she hosted So You Think You Can Dance. However, the source has said she hasn’t got any plans to move back across the Atlantic.

“She loves LA and still has so many contacts there. But she knows her sons need stability, and she won’t take them away from Patrick. For now, she’s focused on carving out a new balance here in Britain.”

Finding a replacement for Cat could prove chaotic

If Cat were to quit the show, This Morning could be thrown into chaos with bosses trying to find a replacement. The source added: “Cat was meant to bring stability. But if she does decide to go, they’re back to square one.”

Alison Hammond has said she doesn’t intend to become a full-time presenter, while the source claimed ITV fears “brilliant” relief presenter Olivia Attwood may not appeal to viewers in quite the same way.

Viewers branded her the ultimate underdog while bookies feared it could be the biggest upset for years, with her odds of winning tumbling from 16/1 to 5/1.

But the player-turned-TV pundit revealed in an old interview with the FA that she trained in dance before seriously getting into football.

The West Midlander said: “I enjoyed football when I was a kid and had loads of kickabouts but I didn’t join my first club until I was 11. Until then, it was all about dancing for me.

“We did loads of different routines and genres of music; street dancing, hip-hop, disco, rock ’n’ roll, slow dancing, team dances.”

She revealed that she trained in dance for up to three hours every Saturday then competed in “big events” on a Sunday.

Karen, who would go on to win 144 caps with England, recalled: “When I got a bit older and my football matches switched to a Sunday, I had some choices to make.

“I decided to give up dancing when I was 15.

“My agility, my strength, my power and how I move my feet during a match are all definitely down to dancing, 100 per cent.

“I was quite little but I was quite strong and that was because all the dancing made my muscles stronger.”

Karen and her pro partner Carlos Gu won 31 points for their football-themed dance to Blondie’s One Way Or Another.

Judge Anton Du Beke called it “the best of the night”.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “From 16/1 to just 5/1 is practically unheard of after one performance.

“Karen’s already well on course to cause one of the biggest Strictly upsets we’ve seen in recent years.”

A show source said: ‘Like Lewis and Amber, Karen never trained in Latin or Ballroom dancing.”

The disability activist and model, 23, performed in her first live show on Saturday with professional partner Vito Coppola. However, some fans were left concerned after they spotted the star appearing to be comforted by professional dancers Dianne Buswell, Karen Hauer, and fellow contestant Harry Aikines-Aryeetey while co-host Claudia Winkleman interviewed other contestants.

Later in the show, the pair revealed that they would be performing a Waltz in Week Two of the competition – with Alison Hammond sending a good luck message to a delighted Ellie.

“Ellie – well done! You smashed it, you did it, oh my God,” she said. “Honestly, it was such a good dance and I’m so, so very proud of you. Keep dancing.

“You are going to smash this babes. Bye Vito, Bye Ellie – I love ya!” A grinning Ellie waved back, saying: “Bye Alison, love you Alison.”

Ellie took to social media yesterday to reassure fans that she wasn’t upset at the live show, writing: “Thank you all so much for the incredible love and support! I’m over the moon that so many of you enjoyed watching me dance last night – I’m honestly having the time of my life. This really is a dream come true.”

She added that her eyes can appear watery during the live show. “Just a little note: sometimes my eyes get watery after a long day – I promise I’m not upset! I’m doing so well and feeling SO happy, and your concern truly means the world.”
