Kelly Clarkson had taken a step back

Kelly Clarkson has returned to her TV show stateside a month after the d3ath of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. The former American Idol winner, 43, took time out from presenting The Kelly Clarkson Show after the tragic news of Brandon’s death in August.

Brandon, who was married to Kelly for almost seven years their split in 2022, d!ed from melanoma on August 7. He was aged just 48. The duo shared two children together, River Rose, 11, and nine-year-old Remy. Brandon also had two children from a previous relationship.

Now, returning to her role on the show, Kelly showed her usual mix of humour and emotion. While she didn’t directly touch on her former husband’s death, the occasion was emotional.

During the show, Kelly spoke with Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell. The Hollywood pair were on the show to promote their new film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. The trio bonded over ‘the highs and lows of parenthood’.

Earlier this month, Reba McEntire opened up about how her grandchildren, Brandon and Kelly’s children, are doing following his tragic death. She was speaking while on the red carpet at the Emmys.

“The kids are doing well, they’re all bonding together and hanging out with each other, and taking it one day at a time,” she confessed. “We know God’s got this.”

Brandon, who was a talent manager, died after living with melanoma for over three years. A rep for his family announced the death at the time via a prepared statement.

It read: “It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away. Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years.

“He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”

Brandon’s daughter Savannah recently admitted she “never imagined” she would lose her father. The sad message posted on Instagram shared her pain. The 23-year-old, who is expecting her third child, wrote on the social media platform: “So far, 2025 has been a year full of ‘Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding.’

“As we’re ending Quarter 3 I’ve found myself looking back at all of the love and support my husband and I have had through the lows and heartbreak.

“Seeing my dad sick and losing him was something I never imagined or could have possibly prepared myself for, let alone young and pregnant.

“We have had an overwhelming amount of love and support poured onto us over the past 6 months and we are eternally grateful.”

EXCLUSIVE: Coronation Street’s Debbie Webster makes HEARTBREAKING PREDICTION Amid Battle Against Dementia

Coronation Street favourite Debbie Webster made a tearful prediction about the future at the end of Monday’s episode. The hotel owner, who was diagnosed with vascular dementia earlier this year, had started to unravel the truth regarding her brother Carl and his sister-in-law Abi Webster towards the end of last week.

Fans of the long-running show will know that earlier in the week, Abi (Sally Carman) split up with her husband Kevin (Michael Le Vell) after four years of marriage, but did not disclose that’s because she’s having an affair with his brother Carl (Jonathan Howard). Kevin was very suspicious to begin with, and initially shared his concerns with sister Debbie (Sue Devaney), but she refused to believe him.

Sally Carman as Abi Webster and Jonathan Howard as Carl Webster

However, things began to unfold in the latest instalment of the Manchester-based soap. Abi and Debbie (Sue Devaney) were in The Kabin being served by Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox) when the mechanic dropped a hotel key card out of her pocket.

Already suspicious after catching Abi in Carl’s hotel room last week, Debbie began to smell a rat once more. Round at the garage, Abi fumbled some excuse about how she had stayed at the hotel at some point but had forgotten to return the key card, which Debbie did not believe at all.

At this point, Carl cruelly pointed out Debbie’s condition could be ‘confusing’ her but she would not have it.‌

Later on, Debbie was having lunch at the Rovers with her fiancé Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) when Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) called to say that a guest thought they had been robbed – but the CCTV on that floor was not working. Debbie raced round to the Chariot Square Hotel to sort things out, and Carl, fresh from his latest hookup with James Bailey (Jason Callender), was soon banging on his door demanding answers.

She fumed: “I must have just missed her then! I caught her on CCTV earlier. Did you tamper with one of the cameras on this floor?”

Carl denied this, but Debbie shot back: “Yes you did! Well, I saw her. On another one. And I know she came to this room!”

    Sue Devaney as Debbie Webster

Carl protested that he and Abi were just friends Debbie then spotted a discarded condom wrapper on the floor and she fumed: “Friends, you say?!” as she launched a towel at him. Before storming out, she told her brother: “Cover yourself up! I will be in the bar.”

Once he had got dressed, Carl joined Debbie downstairs and tried to explain things to her, but she wasn’t interested and soon left. Storming into number 13, she decided it was time to confront Abi, who had no choice but to admit to their ‘mucky little affair’ once Debbie said she’d seen the evidence.

Debbie was horrified to discover that she was hoping to run away with Carl and take Alfie, the result of her one night stand with the late Imran Habeeb, with them. When Kevin arrived back on the scene, she questioned her brother why she was still living there in the first place.

When Kevin arrived home, Debbie was full of questions for him as well but he simply told her that it was up to him who lived in his house. Debbie replied: “I just…I’ve been stewing on it,” but Kevin, still not entirely aware of his wife’s infidelity, put it all down to her condition.

On the verge of tears, a frustrated Debbie exclaimed: “I wish people would stop using my dementia against me, I am nowhere near as batty as folk make out I am! I’ll tell you exactly what this is – I don’t want you being made a fool of. She’s staying here rent-free, sponging off you and I’m not having it!”

Kevin was still not having any of it and told Debbie to focus on her own problems instead. Later on, Abi and Carl had a secret chat where he pushed her to keep the arrangement as is rather than telling everyone about their relationship. Over a chat in the pub, Debbie begged Carl to ‘walk away’ from Abi and she went home.

Once there, she set about placing old photos into a scrapbook, and Ronnie wondered what it was all in aid of. She told him: “I fancied a trip down, while I’ve still got my memory.” Ronnie was impressed with one particular family photo of Debbie and her brothers, and suggested she get it framed.

She said: “Yeah. To remind me of the good times. Before it all goes wrong.”

UNBELIEVABLE: The Chase’s Anne Hegerty STUNS Viewers With Scathing Six-Word Jab At Contestants Just Minutes Into Show, Leaving Audience GASPING At Her Brutal Honesty

    The Chase

The Chase quizmaster Anne Hegerty left four hopefuls red-faced on Monay’s episode of the ITV game how (September 29) after issuing a scathing six-word dig just minutes in. Tony, Lauryn, Sian and Chris were all welcomed by host Bradley Walsh as they took their chance at winning some cash. Player Lauryn was seen banking just £1k in her cash builder round, and even Bradley made the decision to “allow” her answer, making the £1k even less impressive.

But when Lauryn took her turn against Anne, also known as ‘the Governess’, she made a scathing dig. Despite offering Lauryn a minus £1k offer, Lauryn declared she would have more respect for herself losing the £1k than going for a minus offer. Anne then said in response: “I don’t have much respect for any of you, but I do have some respect for you.”

    The Chase

Fans chimed in commenting: “omg lol when anne said i don’t have any respect for any of you that was savage.”

Lauryn did manage to bank the £1k, but she caused a stir with fans with her  very forward personality.

The Civil Servant admitted to Bradley that she enjoyed weight training in her spare time, and offered to “bench press The Beast” live on TV, suggesting viewers would be happy to pay to watch it.

“did she actually offer to bench press the Beast or are my ears deceiving me?” blasted one fan. Another penned: “She’s incredibly cute, but also incredibly annoying”

Even chaser Anne chimed in with a joke, adding: “Anne “You like lifting deadweights? Try lifting him”

Elsewhere, Sian didn’t bring much hope to the team when she only scores £2k in her cash builder round.

She was offered £1k for her low offer and much to viewers dismay, she decided to take it. Fans immediatley slammed the decision, blasting it “a joke”.

“£2K Cashbuilder and she has taken the £1K Low Offer with everyone else on her team suggesting it! What a joke this show has become!” Another blasted: “These contestants look like they are all going to take the Low Offer for some reason!”

But the boys had more success at the table, with Chris banking a respectable £7k and Tony and impressive £9k.

The team managed to answer just 18 questions right in the final chase, with Anne hot on their heels.

The Governess was on top form and she stormed towards her target, beating them with a staggering 24 questions to spare.

“Feel sorry for the guys,” said one fan. “18 is never enough. Well done Anne. Unlucky team,” penned another.

SPOILER: Coronation Street’s Tim Metcalfe bravely OPENS UP on Horror Grooming INCIDENT

    Coronation Street Theo

It’s an exciting time to be a Coronation Street viewer, with the soap gearing up for its 65th anniversary celebrations and a one-off crossover episode with fellow ITV soap, Emmerdale. For those who have been following Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine), they’ll be in for a shock when they discover an emotional storyline about him being groomed as a teenager. This week, Tim picks up a fare and instantly recognises her as Trisha Pinkerton, a girl he knew back in the 1980s.

As Tim and Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) celebrate their anniversary, she suggests Tim go to the Rovers with the blokes in a bid to cheer Kevin up. Trisha arrives and catches Tim’s eye. Tim explains that Trisha’s a blast from his past. Tyrone and Steve are amused, whilst Kevin is disapproving.

As the lads discuss Asha’s situation and their concerns for Dev, they open up and admit that they all have their own set of worries, and in the future, they should share them rather than bottling them up.

Later, Trisha calls the cab office to see Tim. Sally is taken aback to find her there. When she introduces herself as Trisha, Sally is quick to explain that she is Tim’s wife.

Sally is not happy, pointing out to Tim that not only did he miss their anniversary meal, but then she finds him entertaining Trisha in the cab office.

As Sally marches out in fury, Tim reminisces about Trisha, revealing he was only 14 years old when they got together, but she was nearly 20. Brian is quietly shocked about this. Trisha then calls in the café looking for Tim. Brian is curt with her and accuses her of grooming Tim as a child.

Trisha’s horrified, and Tim rounds on Brain, but he sticks to his guns and informs Tim that he needs to face the fact that Trisha groomed him. Sally confronts Tim over his relationship with Trisha. When Tim admits that he was 14 when she took his virginity, and she was 20, Sally is deeply horrified and shocked.

Also this week, Todd (Gareth Pierce) is surprised when Theo agrees to a night out in the gay village with Sean, James, Mary, Glenda, and Christina. In the club, they’re all having a good time until a man recognises Theo, with a look of shock on his face.

Theo stares at him until Owen turns away and hurries out. Urged on by Theo, Todd joins his friends on the dance floor. As Theo heads to the toilets, Owen approaches, determined to have it out with him. Theo manhandles Owen out onto the street and orders him to back off. Who is he?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.

‘I had already seen his heart and his soul and his beautiful brain. So, if you talk about rescuing – there was no choice, I was already there.’

It comes after panellist Kelly Brook admitted she would be devastated if her husband Jeremy Parisi went on to have children with someone else should their marriage not last.

UNBELIEVABLE: Big Brother Thrown Into Chaos As Four Shock New Arrivals Trigger Explosive Drama Nobody Saw Coming

The Big Brother house is set to be rocked by the arrival of not one, not two, but four new contestants. Just hours after the ITV show returned, the housemates were hit by a brutal elimination.

Now, the twists keep on coming as four new contestants are set to join on Tuesday night. The housemates had predicted more stars might turn up as they counted 16 beds in the iconic bedroom.

However, they don’t realise how soon the house is set to be welcoming the new contestants. Fans were also shocked by the move as one said: “New housemates incoming thank goodness this lot are dull.”

Emily was the first Big Brother housemate to be evicted
Another added: “24 hours into the new series of Big Brother and the biggest problem is that all these twists are distracting from getting to know those housemates and… that’s kinda the format of the show that made it a hit. Too trashy.”

Someone else commented: “Oh sheeeeet! FOUR new housemates already?! Bloody hellllllll!” A fourth wrote: “OUR NEW HOUSEMATES?!?!!”

Earlier on Monday’s episode, fans issued complaints over the amount of twists and turns as one housemate was sent packing. A group of contestants were pitted against each other as they tried to fight for their spot to stay.

Emily, Sam and Caroline were sent to a different room where they then have to vote which one of them to send home. Emily voted for Caroline, Caroline voted for Emily and Sam picked Emily.

It left Emily with the most votes, meaning she was evicted from the Big Brother house. The brutal move left viewers fuming as one said: ” itv are doing too much with this ‘twist’ #BBUK.” Another added: “such a stupid twist if it’s real.”

Some viewers also took issue with the twists as the housemates didn’t know each other well enough. One quipped: “big brother asking reasons as if they’ve not only known each other ten minutes.”

Fans had first thought that the housemate with the least amount of votes would be evicted. But, on the first Big Brother Late and Live of the series, it was revealed that they would have to fight amongst themselves on who would go.

Host Will had accidently let slip the plan as one said: “Will seems to have just (accidentally?) confirmed on #BBLL that Emily, Caroline and Sam will have to decide amongst themselves WHO gets evicted tonight! #BBUK”

I’m A Celebrity in Chaos: Fans Revolt, Contestants Threaten to Sue – and Ant & Dec’s Shocking Reaction Stuns Viewers

A storm is brewing behind the scenes of “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” as furious fans accuse the show of selling out, influencers threaten to sue, and contestants hint at walking away. And shockingly, even Ant & Dec — once untouchable national treasures — are now caught in the crossfire.

The uproar erupted after ITV reportedly signed TikTok star Angry Ginge (21-year-old Morgan Burtwhistle) for the upcoming series. The move has sparked outrage in the influencer community, with many claiming they’ve been “snubbed” despite years of talks with producers.

One insider fumed: “It’s turned into an influencer war every single year. There are some big names who’ve been chasing the jungle for ages, and they feel ITV just keeps ignoring them. First it was GK Barry last year, now Angry Ginge. People are furious.”

Viewers Are Turning on the Show

The backlash isn’t just from influencers. Longtime fans of the show are questioning whether the format has been hijacked by TikTok hype rather than true star power. Social media has exploded with comments such as:

“Is this a reality show or a TikTok ad campaign?”

“23 years of tradition, and now it’s reduced to kids’ content.”

Some viewers have even threatened to boycott the new season, claiming the show has “sold its soul” in a desperate bid for younger audiences.

Contestants Threaten to Walk – and Sue

Several would-be campmates who had been in talks with ITV are reportedly so angry they’re considering pulling out altogether. Others are said to be weighing up legal action, alleging they were “used” as pawns in ITV’s publicity games.

    Ant & Dec “Collateral Damage”

Although they have no say in casting decisions, Ant & Dec are now facing unexpected heat. As the faces of the franchise for over two decades, the duo are being accused of standing by silently while the show “loses its magic.”

One furious fan blasted: “Ant & Dec used to be the soul of I’m A Celeb. Now they’re just propping up terrible decisions.”

Ant & Dec Finally Break Their Silence

In a move that shocked many, Ant & Dec didn’t remain silent for long. Sources close to the pair revealed that the duo were “deeply unsettled” by the backlash and felt unfairly dragged into a decision that wasn’t theirs.

On social media, Dec reportedly quipped in his signature style: “We don’t pick the campmates, promise! If we did, we’d probably just throw each other in.”
Meanwhile, Ant took a more serious tone, admitting during a recent event that “the show is evolving, and that’s always going to upset some people. But we still love hosting it, and we’ll always give it our best.”

Their comments only fueled further debate — with some fans praising them for speaking out, while others accused the duo of “dodging responsibility

Strictly Come Dancing star Alex Kingston was left “mortified” after an unintentional innuendo while filming left the studio in stitches – but the gaffe never made it to air. The 62-year-old actress, best known for her roles in ER and Doctor Who, is one of this year’s celebrity contestants on the BBC ballroom show. She appeared in the pre-recorded launch episode, which aired two weekends ago, but it’s now emerged that one of her funniest moments was left on the cutting room floor.

During the launch, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman introduced the line-up and quizzed them on their Strictly journey so far. While the broadcast showed a string of safe answers, it’s since been revealed that Alex’s off-the-cuff response left the cast and crew howling with laughter at the time. Her co-star George Clarke recalled the moment on his Useless Hotline podcast last week. When Alex’s name came up, George gushed: “She’s so unintentionally funny just because of how sweet and lovely and nice she is.”

He went on to explain that not every interaction from Tess and Claudia made it to the final edit. He explained: “They asked Alex one, and it was so good her response.

“[…] Somebody came round beforehand backstage, just sort of speaking to us and they’d just be like ‘that’s good so we’re gonna get Tess and Claudia to ask a question if you could just sort of lead into that story.’”

According to George, the hosts teed up Alex by asking how she broke the news to her family and friends that she was joining the show. Her answer took a very unexpected turn.

George recalled: “She said, ‘Well, I was actually at my friend’s husband’s birthday and I know he’s a massive fan, so I thought I’d give him a little birthday gift, so I waited until everybody was asleep and then I snuck into his room and I told him I had a secret to give him.

“And then he was… I could see him getting stiffer and stiffer’… and we all just wet ourselves. And she was like ‘No! with fright, with fright!’” The slip only made things funnier as Alex desperately tried to clarify what she meant.

George admitted: “I can’t even remember what she said after that to try and save it, but it basically just doubled down on the bit, and we were like, ‘Not helping Alex!’ And it was just so funny. Claudia was wetting herself, just like said something like back. It was so good, but she was just mortified afterwards.”

A source told the Mirror: “Alex’s unintentional innuendo had everyone howling with laughter in the studio. She was so shocked when she realised how it sounded.

“Sadly, there wasn’t time to do the full story justice in the launch show, but everyone’s dying to see what Alex might come out with on air now that Strictly’s live every Saturday night. She and Claudia together should be TV gold.”

BREAKING: Kate Garraway ISSUES Six-Word Statement As She Breaks Silence On ITV Budget Cuts

Kate Garraway has spoken out about the sweeping budget cuts at ITV, which are set to impact its soaps and daytime programming in 2026. It was previously revealed that over 220 staff members face redundancy, with significant schedule restructuring planned across the network. The extensive changes include Lorraine being cut to a 30-minute slot for 30 weeks of the year, while Loose Women will also be broadcast for 30 instead of 52 weeks. Meanwhile Good Morning Britain will be extended and produced by ITV News at ITN.

Kate, 58, has shared her thoughts on the financial cutbacks and whether she feels concerned, particularly as she now depends on a single income following the death of her husband, Derek Draper, last year after his battle with long Covid. She told The Sun: “It’s all change across ITV daytime. All I know at the moment is that it’s happening in January. The show is getting longer and the gang on screen have been told that they want the audience to feel it’s the same viewing experience. So, for us, it feels like business as usual.”

Kate continued: “I had a trial run of solo income from the second Derek got sick, then after he came home I had exponential outgoings to fund his care. All I can say is, I have even more admiration for single mothers.

“I’ve talked a lot with [fellow GMB presenter] Ranvir Singh, who’s always been a single mum. I don’t know how she’s done it – mentally, financially and physically – for so long.

“There’s definitely a feeling when you’re in a marriage like mine that it’s a team. Now, there’s a shift, and it’s not fun. But it happens to a lot of people and you just get on with it.”

Kate said she feels positive and explained that her children are happy, but acknowledged it’s important to navigate challenges or risk becoming stuck in a place of sadness.

She added: “And there’s lots of things I’ve got that are exciting. Without wiping away everything that’s happened, the kids are happy. I do feel positive. But you have to be able to navigate it all, otherwise you get locked in a sad place.”

Since Good Morning Britain launched in 2014, Kate has been a cornerstone of the line-up, presenting on Thursdays and Fridays alongside co-hosts such as Richard Madeley, Ed Balls, Adil Ray, and Robert Rinder.

The significant changes at ITV were first announced in May, with Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV’s Media and Entertainment Division, stating that the move will allow the broadcaster to better serve its audiences while also supporting investment in other programming areas,” reports the Mirror.

A portion of his statement read: “These changes also allow us to consolidate our news operations and expand our national, international and regional news output and to build upon our proud history of trusted journalism at a time when our viewers need accurate, unbiased news coverage more than ever.”

He added: “Daytime has been a core element of ITV’s schedule for over 40 years and these changes will set ITV up to continue to bring viewers award-winning news, views and discussion as we enter our eighth decade.”
