Barstool Bombshell: Big Cat & Dave Portnoy Confess They Ditched a Jaw-Dropping $10M Saudi Offer – You Won’t Believe Their Reason

Barstool Sports’ Dan Katz A.K.A. “Big Cat” has revealed that he and Dave Portnoy recently turned down a $10 million offer from Saudi Arabia, though not for moral reasons.

Royals turn a double play to end the inning

Middle Eastern entities have flooded billions of dollars into the world of sports in recent years, and everyone’s taking their money. In addition to LIV Golf, they have a partnership with WWE and fund TKO’s Zuffa Boxing.

They’re even bringing Tom Brady out of retirement to play flag football next year.

Katz was speaking on Thursday’s episode of ‘Barstool Yak’ when he claimed that Saudi Arabia is doing a good job of sports washing.

“They’re washing the sh*t out of stuff,” he said.

Big Cat Says There Was A $5 Million Gap

The ‘Pardon My Take’ co-host would also reveal that he and the Barstool Sports owner, who debuted on ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ this season, were invited to attend an unspecified boxing match but could not come to terms on a price, with the Saudis falling $5 million short.

“By the way, I’m not judging this one either, because Dave and I were once offered and they just didn’t reach our price, but we were gonna go,” he said about the upcoming Riyadh Comedy Festival.

“There was a boxing match — for the two of us to attend and we talked on the phone and we were like, ‘it’s a sh*tload of travel. Give us like $15 million and we’ll do it.’ And they were like, ‘we can do 10 [million]’ and we were like, ‘no.’”

Portnoy, who has been criticized for terminating an employee over a positive post directed at Charlie Kirk’s family, could probably use an extra $10 mil right now, given his platform’s declining ratings. But things don’t appear to be so bad.

Big Cat also noted that much of that money would have gone toward the company, not just him and Dave. But it’s still surprising that they would turn down such an amount, especially as all they had to do was show up.

They must really be rolling in it.

Sydney Thomas just proved she’s not only about the ring walk. The 21-year-old first got noticed during Jake Paul’s big fight with Mike Tyson last November, but now she’s coming to attention again. This time, she changed the boxing ring for the basketball court and even the pool table, surprising fans with skills they didn’t expect.

Her latest Instagram drop featured a clean three-pointer, a few sharp pool shots, and a string of selfies capturing her packed schedule. The post ended a week-long silence and pulled in over 40,000 likes within a day.

Sydney, who has more than two million followers, joked earlier that her life had flipped upside down after the Tyson-Paul fight streamed to more than 100 million people. She also hinted at wanting to start a business of her own while keeping her ties to sports strong.

Her rise has been nothing short of rapid. Just a few months ago, she made waves by speaking openly about her personal life and connections with athletes. Now, she’s keeping that same energy while showing fans a whole new side of her.

Shocking news: the real command box of the filtered referee for Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford Fight Sparks outrage, fans demand the outcome of the demand is canceled

In a seismic development that has shaken the world of boxing, the real command picture of referee Thomas Taylor for Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford Super Middleweight Fight on 13 of 2025, filtered on September 20, 2025, at 11:00 pm PDT (3:00 pm, on September 21). The document, which contradicts the official scores of the judges that grant Crawford a unanimous decision victory (116-112, 115-113, 115-113), shows Taylor in private the fight in favor of Canelo, lighting a fire storm of the indignation of fans and demands to cancel the result. In the midst of existing scandals of the referee’s bias, Crawford doping accusations and a contractual conspiracy of $ 500 million, the filtered command box has plunged boxing in its deepest crisis so far, threatening to cancel one of the most historical results of the sport.

The fight that defined an era

Alvarez-Crawford’s fight in Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, was a global show, attracting 70,482 fans and 41 million Netflix spectators, generating $ 500 million in revenues. Crawford (42-0, 31 kos) defeated Canelo (63-3-2, 39 kO), claiming medium weight titles from Ring magazine (WBC, WBO, IBF and Ring and becoming the first male boxer to hold undisputed belts into three divisions in the age Controversies: The admission of referee Taylor’s bias, Crawford’s positive proof for a synthetic testosterone derivative, Manny Pacquiao’s claim of a “disguised man” orchestrating the result, and the insistence of cinnamon that was “forced to lose.”

The revelation of the leaked score card

The filtered command box, published by an anonymous X account (@truthinthering) with 400,000 followers, aims to be Taylor’s personal count, maintained separated from the official scores of Max Deluca judges, Dave Moretti and Steve Weisfeld. The document shows Taylor scoring the 117-111 fight for Canelo, giving nine rounds to the three of Crawford, with a detailed breakdown citing the blows and the most heavy ring control of Canelo. Unlike the official scores, which favored the speed and precision of Crawford, the Taylor card aligns with compound statistics that show Canelo obtained 99 bumps of power at 115 of Crawford, with greater impact.

The leak, accompanied by a screenshot of a score card written by hand with the firm of Taylor, exploded in X, accumulating 22 million visits during hours and causing hashtags #annulthefight and #canelowasrobed, which they tended worldwide with 14 million commitments. “The real command of the referee shows that Canelo won! This is the #Justiceforcanelo corruption,” a fan published. Another wrote: “Taylor knew that Canelo was better but exhausted #boxingscandal.” The filtration has given credit to Canelo’s claims and intensified scrutiny to Taylor, who admitted in a video released by the AMB to favor Crawford under pressure to “crown a new king.”

Assignment of fans and demands of justice

Canelo, which goes to the filtration during a live night -year instagram on September 20, seen by 3.5 million fans, called it “proof of truth.” “The referee’s own card shows that I won,” he said. “They stole my titles, but the world knows it now. Annule the fight!” His legal team, directed by Ricardo Castañeda, presented an emergency request against the AMB, WBC, WBO and IBF to cancel the result, citing the score as evidence of systemic bias. The promoter Eddie Hearn tweeted: “This escape exposes the robbery. Canelo deserves his return belt #Vivamexico.”

Manny Pacquiao, whose previous accusations of Subibery Judge and a “disguised man” fed the controversy, praised the score card as a claim. “The truth of the referee is out. Justice for Canelo #Pacquiaotruth,” fans published about X. “The Ref card shows that it was manipulated! Give Canelo its #annulthefight titles,” a user wrote. The skeptics, however, questioned the authenticity of the filtration, with a publication, “False mails! Crawford won Fair #teambud.”

The response of the Nevada Athletic Commission

The Nevada Athletic Commission, already investigating Taylor’s bias and Crawford doping, confirmed that it is examining the filtered command box. “We are aware of the supposed document and we are verifying its authenticity,” said a spokesman on September 21. Sources sayBoxingscenethat the command box was obtained from a complainant within the commission, although forensic analysis forDigital Evidence ReviewThe inconsistencies noticed in the document metadata, asking questions about manipulation. The September 22 hearing of the Commission will now include the command box, with potential results that include a ruling without concept or restoration of the title for Canelo.

The Crawford camp dismissed the escape as “a desperate ploy.” Coach Brian McIntyre saidESPN, “Bud won that fight, no matter what a false card says.” Crawford, facing a possible doping prohibition, tweeted: “Canelo’s team is coming. I am the #BudThegoot champion.” The commission is also investigating Crawford’s cryptic admission that “he paid me and asked me to use …”, which has fed the speculation of a deeper corruption linked to the contract backed by Saudi.

    A boxing world in agitation

The filtered scoring box has amplified the existing scandals, with Taylor’s bias, Crawford doping and Pacquiao conspiracy states that it paints an image of a manipulated fight. Compubox data and a command box generated with anterior filtering, which also favored Canelo (118-110), reinforces the argument that the human judgment failed. “The referee’s card is the last nail in the coffin,” he saidIllustrated sportsColumnist Chris Mannix. “Boxing credibility is collapsing.”

Fans are pressing for the reform, with calls to the score assisted by Ai-Ganando traction. “Human judges are corrupt. AI does not lie #USEAI,” an X user published. A failure without concept could restore cinnamon titles or pave the way for a revenge of 2026, which is projected to exceed $ 600 million in income. The Saudi Financial Turki Al-Sheikh, who financed the fight, faces scrutiny but denies participation, asking for “transparency.”

    A struggle for justice

The scoring box of the filtered referee for Canelo Alvarez vs. fight. Terence Crawford has unleashed a tide of indignation of fans, with demands to cancel the result echoing in X. As the audition of the Athletic Commission of Nevada is raised, and with Canelo promising to claim its titles, the sport faces a memory. Was the corruption fight stolen, as the score card suggests, or is the leakage manufactured? With #Canelowasrobbed dominating global discourse, the truth behind the biggest night in Boxing remains in balance. Are attentive to updates as this explosive saga develops.

“IT’S TIME TO TELL THE WORLD!” — Manny Pacquiao EXPOSES SHOCKING TRUTH Behind Canelo vs. Crawford Fight, Claims ‘Man in DISGUISE’ Changed Everything.k

3 MINUTES AGO: Manny Pacquiao exposes the shocking truth behind Canelo vs Crawford fight: “It’s time to tell the world about this man in disguise.”

Just three minutes ago, on September 19, 2025, at 2:45 PM ICT (3:45 AM EDT), boxing legend Manny Pacquiao dropped a bombshell that has sent the boxing world into a frenzy. In a live Instagram session from Manila, the eight-division world champion revealed what he called the “shocking truth” behind the controversial Canelo Álvarez vs. Terence Crawford super middleweight title fight, declaring, “It’s time to tell the world about this man in disguise.” Pacquiao’s cryptic accusation, hinting at a hidden figure manipulating the outcome of the September 13 bout at Allegiant Stadium, has ignited speculation, with fans and analysts scrambling to uncover who the “disguised man” could be. As the scandal deepens, Pacquiao’s revelation threatens to unravel Crawford’s historic victory and expose deep-seated corruption in the sport.

    The Fight That Sparked Chaos

The Álvarez-Crawford clash, watched by 70,482 fans and 41 million viewers on Netflix, saw Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs) defeat Canelo (63-3-2, 39 KOs) via unanimous decision (116-112, 115-113, 115-113), claiming the WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF, and Ring Magazine super middleweight titles. Crawford’s win made him the first male boxer to hold undisputed belts in three weight classes in the four-belt era. However, the fight has been mired in controversy, from referee Thomas Taylor’s admitted bias to Crawford’s positive test for a banned substance. Canelo’s claim that he was “forced to lose” has fueled outrage, and Pacquiao’s latest exposé adds fuel to the fire.

    Pacquiao’s Cryptic Bombshell

Pacquiao, appearing emotional during his Instagram Live, which peaked at 1.2 million viewers, hinted at a shadowy figure pulling strings behind the scenes. “It’s time to tell the world about this man in disguise,” he said, pausing dramatically before adding, “He’s not who you think. He controls the refs, the judges, even the tests. Canelo fought brave, but this man made sure he lost.” Pacquiao refused to name the individual, citing “ongoing risks,” but teased more details in a forthcoming press conference on September 20 in Los Angeles.

The “man in disguise” has sparked wild speculation on X, where #PacquiaoTruth trended within minutes, amassing 5 million engagements. Some fans point to Saudi financier Turki Al-Sheikh, who bankrolled the fight, suggesting he favored Crawford to create a new star. Others speculate about promoter Bob Arum or even a political figure tied to Crawford’s Nebraska roots. “Pacquiao knows something big. The disguised man is the puppet master #BoxingScandal,” one user posted. Another wrote, “Is it Crawford himself? Hiding his doping? #ManInDisguise.”

    Building on the Scandals

Pacquiao’s revelation builds on his earlier accusation that Crawford bribed judge Max DeLuca, backed by a video and bank records under investigation by the Nevada Athletic Commission. Referee Taylor’s confession of bias, released by the WBA, admitted to disadvantaging Canelo to “crown a new king.” Crawford’s failed drug test for a synthetic testosterone derivative has led to calls for a two-year ban. “This man in disguise ties it all together,” Pacquiao said. “He’s the reason Canelo was robbed.”

Pacquiao, who shares a mutual respect with Canelo from their shared Filipino-Mexican boxing heritage, vowed to support Álvarez’s quest for justice. “Canelo is a brother. I’ll fight for him until the truth comes out,” he declared. The session ended with Pacquiao challenging the mystery figure: “Show your face, or stay hidden forever.”

    The Boxing World’s Frenzy

The boxing community is buzzing. Canelo, responding on X, wrote, “Manny, thank you for the truth. Together, we’ll expose him #VivaMexico.” Promoter Eddie Hearn called Pacquiao’s words “a wake-up call,” urging the Nevada Athletic Commission to expedite its September 22 hearing. Crawford’s camp dismissed the claims as “fiction,” with trainer Brian McIntyre stating, “Manny’s chasing ghosts. Bud won fair #BudTheGOAT.” Crawford tweeted, “Pacquiao, name names or stay silent. I’m not hiding #TruthWins.”

On X, reactions are explosive. “Pacquiao’s dropping nukes! Who is the man in disguise? Saudi money? Politics? #ExposeHim,” one fan posted. Another defended Crawford: “This is a hit job. Manny’s bitter about his own losses #TeamBud.” The hashtag #ManInDisguise has spawned memes and theories, with some linking it to broader conspiracies involving Saudi influence in boxing.

    Speculation Runs Wild

Who is the “man in disguise”? Theories abound:

Turki Al-Sheikh: The Saudi promoter, booed at the fight, is accused of rigging it to boost Crawford’s marketability.
A Political Insider: Ties to Crawford’s support for certain figures fuel rumors of U.S. political meddling.
An Undercover Promoter: Some point to a shadowy advisor in Crawford’s camp.

Pacquiao hinted the figure has “disguised” their identity through proxies, promising “irrefutable proof” at his press conference. Legal experts predict the revelation could trigger lawsuits and further investigations, potentially voiding the fight result.

    A Sport on the Brink

Manny Pacquiao’s three-minute-old exposé—”It’s time to tell the world about this man in disguise”—has plunged the Canelo vs. Crawford fight into even deeper turmoil. As the Nevada Athletic Commission prepares for its hearing, and Canelo rallies for justice, Pacquiao’s words have galvanized the boxing world. Will the “disguised man” be unmasked, or is this the latest twist in a saga of scandals? With X ablaze and fans demanding answers, the truth behind one of boxing’s biggest nights hangs in the balance. Stay tuned for Pacquiao’s press conference and live updates as this shocking revelation unfolds.

SHOCKING NEWS! Canelo Álvarez Responds with 14 Brutal Words to Fight-Fixing Accusations, Rocking the Boxing World

In a stunning escalation of the controversy surrounding his September 13, 2025, loss to Terence Crawford, Saul “Canelo” Álvarez unleashed a ferocious 14-word response that has sent shockwaves through the boxing world. On September 19, 2025, at 11:00 PM PDT (2:00 PM ICT, September 20), during a live press conference in Guadalajara, Mexico, Canelo addressed accusations that he “fixed” the fight to ensure Crawford’s victory, declaring: “I never fixed a fight! They stole my belts with lies and corruption!” The boxing icon’s defiant words, delivered with fiery conviction, have reignited debates about the integrity of the sport’s biggest night, amplifying existing scandals involving referee bias, doping, and a $500 million contract conspiracy.

    The Fight-Fixing Accusation

The Canelo-Crawford super middleweight title fight at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, was a global spectacle, drawing 70,482 fans and 41 million Netflix viewers. Crawford’s unanimous decision victory (116-112, 115-113, 115-113) stripped Canelo of his WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF, and Ring Magazine titles, crowning Crawford as the first male boxer to hold undisputed belts in three weight classes. However, the fight has been mired in controversy, with referee Thomas Taylor admitting bias, Crawford testing positive for a banned substance, and Manny Pacquiao alleging a shadowy “man in disguise” orchestrated the outcome.

The latest bombshell came hours before Canelo’s press conference, when an anonymous X account with 500,000 followers posted a leaked email allegedly from a promoter claiming Canelo “agreed to take a dive” for a $50 million payout to secure Crawford’s win and boost the Saudi-backed $500 million contract’s legacy. The post, which garnered 10 million views, fueled hashtags like #CaneloFixedIt and #BoxingBetrayal. The accusation suggested Canelo intentionally underperformed to allow Crawford’s historic three-division undisputed reign.

    Canelo’s 14-Word Fury

Canelo, visibly enraged at the press conference, addressed the fight-fixing claims head-on. “I never fixed a fight! They stole my belts with lies and corruption!” he roared, slamming his fist on the podium. The 14-word outburst, broadcast live on Televisa and streamed to 4 million viewers, was a direct rebuttal to the allegations, pointing to referee Thomas Taylor’s bias, Crawford’s doping scandal, and broader conspiracies. “I fought with my heart,” Canelo added. “They paid refs, used drugs, and now they slander me. I’ll fight for justice!”

The clip exploded on X, amassing 25 million views within an hour and sparking #CaneloSpeaks, which trended globally with 12 million engagements. Fans rallied behind him, with one posting, “Canelo’s telling the truth! The system screwed him #VivaMexico.” Others questioned his denial: “If Canelo didn’t fix it, why’d he lose so bad? #Suspicious.”

    The Scandals Fueling the Fire

Canelo’s response comes amid a cascade of controversies:

Referee Bias: Thomas Taylor admitted in a WBA-released video to favoring Crawford, citing pressure to “crown a new king.”
Doping Scandal: Crawford tested positive for a synthetic testosterone derivative, facing a potential two-year ban.
Pacquiao’s Allegations: Manny Pacquiao claimed a “man in disguise” manipulated the fight, with Crawford’s recent confession hinting at external pressure tied to the $500 million contract.
Fight-Fixing Rumors: The leaked email, unverified but widely circulated, suggested Canelo was complicit in a scripted loss.

Canelo’s team, led by attorney Ricardo Castañeda, denounced the email as “fabricated” and filed a defamation lawsuit against the anonymous account, demanding X reveal its owner. “These lies are an attack on Canelo’s legacy,” Castañeda said. Canelo also called for the Nevada Athletic Commission to expedite its September 22 hearing, urging a no-contest ruling to restore his titles.

    The Boxing World’s Reaction

The boxing community is divided. Promoter Eddie Hearn backed Canelo, tweeting, “Fight-fixing? Absurd! Canelo’s a warrior, not a sellout #JusticeForCanelo.” Manny Pacquiao, who exposed the “man in disguise,” supported Canelo, stating, “Saul’s telling the truth. The real fixers are hiding.” Crawford, however, fired back on X: “Canelo’s making excuses. I beat him clean, no matter what he says #BudTheGOAT.”

Fans on X are split, with #CaneloInnocent clashing against #CaneloFixedIt. “Canelo’s 14 words prove he’s a victim of corruption #VivaMexico,” one user wrote. Another countered, “He took the money and threw the fight. Guilty #BoxingScandal.” CompuBox stats showing Canelo landed 99 punches to Crawford’s 115, with heavier blows, have fueled arguments that he fought too well to have fixed the match.

    Investigation and Potential Fallout

The Nevada Athletic Commission, already probing Taylor’s bias and Crawford’s doping, added the fight-fixing allegations to its September 22 agenda. The leaked email’s authenticity is under scrutiny, with Forensic Media Review noting signs of digital manipulation. If substantiated, the accusations could lead to sanctions against Canelo, though experts believe the evidence is flimsy. A no-contest ruling remains likely due to Taylor’s confession, potentially reinstating Canelo’s titles or triggering a 2026 rematch projected to surpass $600 million in revenue.

The $500 million contract, tied to Saudi financier Turki Al-Sheikh, faces renewed questions. “If Canelo was paid to lose, the contract’s a sham,” said Boxing News editor Matt Christie. Al-Sheikh denied involvement, calling the accusations “baseless.”

    A Legacy Under Siege

Canelo Álvarez’s 14-word retort—”I never fixed a fight! They stole my belts with lies and corruption!”—has turned the tide in his battle for redemption, reframing him as a victim of a rigged system. As the Nevada Athletic Commission’s hearing looms, and with Crawford’s doping and referee scandals intensifying, the boxing world is on edge. Was Canelo complicit, or is he the scapegoat of a deeper conspiracy? With X ablaze and the global audience demanding answers, this saga is rewriting boxing history. Stay tuned for updates as the shocking truth unfolds.

“IMMEDIATE REMATCH!” — Canelo Álvarez DEMANDS Immediate Rematch With Terence Crawford — But Bud’s Five-Word Response Sends Fans Into FRENZY, Leaving Canelo had to walk out in HUMILIATED.k

BREAKING: Canelo Alvarez Shocks Boxing World with Immediate Rematch Demand, but Crawford’s Five-Word Reply Leaves Him Humiliated

In a dramatic turn of events that has set the boxing world ablaze, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez stunned fans by demanding an immediate rematch with Terence “Bud” Crawford during a fiery press conference in Los Angeles on September 20, 2025, at 3:00 PM PDT (7:00 AM ICT, September 21). Just minutes later, Crawford delivered a devastating five-word response that sent social media into a frenzy and left Canelo walking out in visible embarrassment. The explosive exchange, coming amid swirling scandals of referee bias, doping allegations, and fight-fixing rumors, has escalated tensions to a boiling point, promising a blockbuster rematch that could redefine boxing history.

    Canelo’s Bold Rematch Demand

The press conference, broadcast live on ESPN Deportes and streamed to 5 million viewers, saw Canelo, still reeling from his unanimous decision loss to Crawford on September 13 at Allegiant Stadium, take the stage with defiance. Addressing a crowd of 1,000 reporters and fans, he declared, “I want Crawford again—now! The world knows I was robbed. The ref, the judges, the doping—they cheated me. I’ll knock him out this time!” Canelo’s demand for an immediate rematch, bypassing the Nevada Athletic Commission’s ongoing investigation into referee Thomas Taylor’s admitted bias and Crawford’s positive test for a banned substance, shocked analysts who expected him to await a no-contest ruling.

Canelo’s call was fueled by recent controversies: Taylor’s confession of favoring Crawford, Manny Pacquiao’s claim of a “man in disguise” orchestrating the fight, and accusations that Canelo himself fixed the bout, which he vehemently denied with a 14-word retort: “I never fixed a fight! They stole my belts with lies and corruption!” The boxing icon, backed by promoter Eddie Hearn, insisted a rematch was the only way to restore his legacy and reclaim his WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF, and Ring Magazine super middleweight titles.

    Crawford’s Five-Word Knockout

Mere minutes after Canelo’s demand, at 3:15 PM PDT, Crawford responded via a live X post that sent fans into a frenzy: “Canelo, you lost. Get over it.” The five-word statement, dripping with dismissive confidence, was viewed 10 million times within an hour, sparking hashtags #BudBurnsCanelo and #RematchFever, which trended globally with 8 million engagements. The brutal simplicity of Crawford’s reply left the press conference in chaos, with reporters shouting questions and fans chanting “Bud! Bud!” on the livestream.

Canelo, visibly stunned by the response, struggled to maintain composure. As the crowd’s reaction grew louder, he abruptly stood, muttered, “This isn’t over,” and walked out, his face flushed with embarrassment. The moment, captured on camera, went viral, with X users posting, “Canelo got roasted and ran! #BudTheGOAT” and “That walkout was humiliating #CaneloBurned.” Others sympathized: “Crawford’s cocky, but Canelo deserves a rematch #VivaMexico.”

    The Scandals Fueling the Rivalry

The Alvarez-Crawford fight, a $500 million spectacle watched by 41 million on Netflix, has been plagued by controversy. Referee Taylor’s admission of bias, Crawford’s positive test for a synthetic testosterone derivative, and Pacquiao’s cryptic accusation of a hidden figure manipulating the outcome have cast doubt on Crawford’s victory (116-112, 115-113, 115-113). Canelo’s claim of being “forced to lose” and his rebuttal of fight-fixing allegations have intensified calls for justice. Crawford’s recent admission that “he paid me and asked me to use…”—without naming the figure—has further muddied the waters, hinting at deeper corruption tied to the Saudi-backed contract.

Canelo’s rematch demand bypasses the Nevada Athletic Commission’s September 22 hearing, which could void the fight due to doping and bias. Hearn, speaking to BoxingScene, said, “Canelo won’t wait for bureaucrats. He wants to settle this in the ring.” However, analysts like Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix warned, “If the commission rules a no-contest, the rematch might be mandatory anyway.”

    The Boxing World’s Reaction

The boxing community is electric. Pacquiao, a vocal Canelo supporter, tweeted, “Canelo deserves his rematch. The truth will prevail #JusticeForCanelo.” Promoter Turki Al-Sheikh, who financed the original fight, endorsed the rematch, promising “an even bigger spectacle in 2026.” Crawford’s trainer, Brian McIntyre, scoffed at Canelo’s demand, telling ESPN, “Bud already beat him. Why waste time?”

Fans on X are divided. “Canelo’s right to demand a rematch! He was cheated #VivaMexico,” one user wrote. Another countered, “Bud’s five words ended Canelo. No need for round two #TeamBud.” CompuBox stats showing Canelo landed 99 punches to Crawford’s 115, with heavier blows, have bolstered arguments for a rematch, while Crawford’s supporters point to his technical dominance.

    What’s Next?

The Nevada Athletic Commission’s hearing could declare the fight a no-contest, reinstating Canelo’s titles or setting up a rematch projected to generate over $600 million. Al-Sheikh has already begun negotiations for a 2026 bout in Riyadh, with Netflix eyeing a record-breaking stream. Canelo’s team is pushing for a clause ensuring independent judging, while Crawford’s camp insists he’ll “win again, no matter the rules.”

Canelo’s walkout, sparked by Crawford’s brutal five-word reply, has added a personal edge to their rivalry. “Bud humiliated him twice—once in the ring, now online,” tweeted Boxing News editor Matt Christie. Yet Canelo’s resolve remains unshaken, with a statement on Instagram: “I’ll fight him anywhere, anytime. Mexico will rise.”

    A Rivalry Redefined

Canelo Alvarez’s bold demand for an immediate rematch with Terence Crawford, followed by Bud’s savage five-word response—“Canelo, you lost. Get over it”—has turned a controversial fight into a personal vendetta. As scandals swirl and the boxing world braces for the Nevada Athletic Commission’s ruling, the stage is set for a rematch that could eclipse the original. With X ablaze and fans clamoring for blood, this saga is far from over. Stay tuned for updates as the Canelo-Crawford drama escalates.

“When you haven’t won the award, what do you do?” Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has ISSUED a STRONG STATEMENT in response to CRITICISM levelled at him at the 2025 NTA Awards.

Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has responded to claims that he was annoyed live on air at the 2025 NTAs.

Shepherd, who was nominated for the Best Serial Drama Performance for his role as David Platt, lost out to EastEnders star Steve McFadden, who won the award for his part as Phil Mitchell.

Speaking on his podcast On The Sofa with Colson, Jack and Ben, which he hosts alongside Corrie stars Colson Smith and Ben Price, Shepherd said that he knew he hadn’t won before it was even announced.

Explaining the situation to his co-hosts, Shepherd recalled: “They said my name first and there was no reaction.

“But then the next person was Steve McFadden and everyone goes mental. So everyone who’s nominated, you have cameras [facing you]. And then they went, ‘and the winner is…’.

“All the cameras turned away from me and went to Phil Mitchell. So it was like, there’s obviously not a camera on me, just to give you a clue that I’ve definitely not won this.”

While Shepherd said that some viewers thought he looked upset about not winning his category, the soap star explained that this was not the case.

He said: “My trick of the trade this week is the ‘loser’s face’, when you haven’t won the award, what do you do? Do you graciously clap and go, ‘yep, well done’?

“Do you over-egg the pudding as though you’re pleased they’ve won and you’ve lost? Do you do the really pissed off face? Or the other one, to pretend not to be paying attention and laugh at some joke that someone has not made?

“Usually I do the ‘massively pissed off’ look because it makes me laugh. But this year, because I had no camera on me, I didn’t do anything but they had a little sniper camera.

“So I was in shot and my reaction was ‘I’m just watching the NTAs’. I genuinely wasn’t pissed off.”

Emmerdale star Lawrence Robb BREAKS SILENCE on Mack’s FUTURE in the soap

mackenzie boyd held captive in emmerdale

Rejoice, Emmerdale fans! Mackenzie Boyd has been freed from John Sugden’s sick woodland bunker. For the last month, poor Mack has been held captive in an underground cellar, but during Thursday’s episode (18 September), John finally gave in and delivered him to a hospital, where Charity was able to share an emotional reunion with her man.

The married couple certainly have lots of catching up to do, although it’ll no doubt take some time for Mack to return to his former self

“He’s very relieved to be back home,” Lawrence Robb explains to Inside Soap as we chat about the difficult future in store for his character. “He’s relieved to have been saved.

“He’s in a lot of pain and probably suffering from a bit of PTSD from the entire thing. But I think he’s looking forward to rebuilding what he had with Charity and his family beforehand.”

Little does Mack know, though, that Charity is currently in turmoil over the paternity of the baby she is carrying for Sarah and Jacob.

Having slept with Ross behind her husband’s back, Charity has no idea whether the little one will take after her ex or Jacob – and given Mack’s rivalry with Ross, we dread to think how Mack would react if he found out the truth!

“Mack doesn’t necessarily have a leg to stand on, because he did do a very similar thing with Chloe a couple of years ago,” admits Lawrence. “I think because it’s Ross it probably is more poignant for him because he doesn’t like him at all.

“Ross nearly killed him three, four months ago, so they’ve never really seen eye-to-eye and a lot of that is because of Moses and the dynamic that holds. It would very, very difficult for him to get over it…”

But for now, Mack’s focus will no doubt be recovering from the unimaginable trauma that the evil John inflicted on him.

“He’ll have both emotional and physical scars,” reveals Lawrence. “He was in the bunker for a fair amount of time!”

A Tipping Point contestant has opened up about his time on the show – and what host Ben Shephard is really like when the cameras stop rolling.

Ross Lannon, a radio presenter and disability blogger, appeared on the hit ITV game show back in April 2022, but it took over two years for the episode to finally air.

Writing on his personal blog, A Life On Wheels, Ross admitted he had ‘given up hope’ that his appearance would air, but was keen to finally spill about his time behind the scenes.

Cornwall-based Ross applied as a ‘joke’ and never expected to get a callback, but he was presently surprised when he made it through several rounds of interviews, phone calls and tests.

He described the experience as ‘amazing’ overall, adding: ‘As someone who loves all things media related, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the studios – especially seeing how everything worked from behind the scenes.’

Ross continued: ‘The show’s producers and runners were all so friendly and welcoming too, which made the whole experience even better.’

He said he felt ‘truly spoilt’ as ITV covered his travel to Bristol, where the episode was filmed, as well as putting him and his family up in a hotel for the night.

As Ross is a wheelchair user, accessibility is important, but he said he felt ‘more than accommodated’ by show staff who listened to his needs.

‘I was slightly concerned that I would struggle to press the buzzer during gameplay due to my muscle weakness,’ Ross wrote. ‘However the team reassured me and I was able to have a practice run beforehand.’

And of beloved host Ben, Ross gave a glowing review, saying: ‘Ben Shepherd was really friendly on and off camera.’

He added: ‘I had the best time and I would do it again in a heartbeat.’

With the episode having been filmed amid still-stringent Covid precautions, Ross lamented that he was unable to explore the set as much as he would have preferred.
