Charlotte Hawkins is the first GMB stars to be affected by ITV’s job cuts
She made her News at Ten debut last week and will be on the news rota as part of the daytime merger with ITN.

A source said: “Charlotte will read the news across the schedule.

“She’ll still read on GMB but also the lunchtime, evening and News at Ten.

“It’s a major change because she was solely contracted for GMB.”

Charlotte worked at Sky before joining GMB in 2014 and was one of the show’s main newsreaders, but since 2022 she usually only reads the news two days a week.

Her job change comes amid a shake-up of ITV’s daytime division affecting Susanna Reid’s breakfast show as well as This Morning, Loose Women and Lorraine as the teams at GMB and ITV News merge.

More than 220 roles have been slashed in the cost-cutting drive.

    ITV declined to comment.

SHOCKING CONFESSION: Thomas Skinner’s ‘Upset’ Wife Breaks Silence On Strictly Fling With Shocking Words To Pals

STRICTLY star Thomas Skinner has called wife Sinead his “rock” and says she’s been “unbelievable’ after she forgave him for cheating “over three years ago”.

Thomas, 34, tearfully admitted last week that he had a “two-week” fling with beautician Amy-Lucy O’Rourke in 2022, soon after he had tied the knot with Sinead.

His wife has told friends that the couple dealt with it back then — and says it is “all in the past”.

Last night, a friend of the mother of three told The Sun on Sunday: “This has of course all been upsetting for Sinead.

“The attention has been difficult for her as it brings it all back but she is resilient and her family is strong, her marriage is strong.

“And, as she says, she knew about this more than three years ago and they dealt with the aftermath together back then. This is old news to her, she forgave him then.

“What people probably don’t realise is that Sinead is an incredibly strong woman. Tom has described her as his rock and it is so true, she is.”

Since The Sun on Sunday’s revelations last week, Amy-Lucy, 35, has claimed Thomas told her that his marriage was a “loveless relationship of convenience” and he planned to marry her one day.

Thomas yesterday took to social media, telling followers: “It’s been a hard couple of weeks for me and family. What I’ve learned is my wife is unbelievable.”

The former Apprentice star is among 15 celebs on Strictly this year.

Sinead was in the audience last night as he was paired with pro dancer Amy Dowden on the BBC One ballroom show.

Thomas met Sinead in a bar in 2018 and they got engaged two years later.

Strictly star Thomas Skinner admits having a fling behind his wife’s back in emotional interview
His fling happened shortly after their May 2022 wedding, when they already had their first child, a son now four.

Thomas told The Sun on Sunday last week that he will never forget the heartbreaking moment he told Sinead that he had “f***ed up”.

It’s been a hard couple of weeks for me and family. What I’ve learned is my wife is unbelievable

    Tom

Fighting back tears, he said: “My wife is the best thing that’s ever happened. I’m so lucky she forgave me. It was the worst thing I’ve ever had to do. It was terrible. I’m a very, very open book and I don’t hide anything from my wife.”

After training on Friday he and Sinead were seen laughing and joking together with their eldest child and two-year-old twin daughters.

Our source said: “Thomas is so proud of the fact he is a family man, he would do anything for Sinead. His wife and kids mean everything to him.

“Even though the past week has been hideous, she has been strong for him.

“Seeing them both smiling together makes it clear how things are between them. The children are really excited about him going on Strictly.

“And Sinead wants him to go all the way on the show too.”

  • “Is Love Really Lost?” Katie Hind Spills All: The Honeymoon’s Over for Eamonn Holmes and His Younger Flame

“Is Love Really Lost?” Katie Hind Spills All: The Honeymoon’s Over for Eamonn Holmes and His Younger Flame

She is the woman credited with bringing a smile to the face of Eamonn Holmes as his 14-year marriage to Ruth Langsford came to a bitter end last year.

Striking and charismatic, Katie Alexander, a pretty 40-something who Eamonn had first met 12 years before his split from Ruth, seemed to be the perfect woman to help the Belfast-born broadcaster get over the recriminations and heartache of the break-up.

Including, that is, her occupation: Katie is a marriage counsellor, something that Ruth’s friends have been known to joke about, suggesting she could coach him through his own divorce.

But a year on from their first public outing, sources who know Eamonn and Katie say that if ever there was a time that they needed her skills it’s now.

For after a year of laughter and lavish holidays (including that freebie cruise last September, when just four months after separating from Ruth, he and Katie were pictured preparing to board for their romantic trip around the Med), it seems real life has kicked in.

‘Let’s just say the honeymoon period looks like it is very much at its end,’ one friend tells me, suggesting their romance is ‘struggling’.

‘He’s grumpier than ever and his health problems [he has chronic back pain] really aren’t helping but, instead of moving closer to Katie and settling, he’s spending more time with his family in Belfast, often without her.

‘The lavish gifts and the swanky holidays don’t seem to have made him any happier.’

That sentiment was echoed by some of Eamonn’s colleagues at GB News, who describe him as ‘very, very moany’ – with one saying he’s ‘a miserable goat even on a good day’.

‘He goes into GB News in the morning, and he moans and moans,’ the colleague says.

‘It seems to be fizzling out for him. He is very low – the only thing that cheers him is going to work, he loves working.’

No doubt the income is helpful too, following a battle with HMRC over a tax bill which has left him with far less money than he had hoped for in his mid-60s.

But amid his health and financial woes, it seemed the 65-year-old had found renewed romantic contentment.

Yet while, according to the source, Katie has enjoyed the spotlight that comes with being with the broadcaster, their relationship has become mired in arguments.

‘Katie loves being part of the fame thing, but while it all seems so appealing on paper, in reality it isn’t that easy,’ the pal tells me.

‘They have a very fiery and at times strained relationship.’

Last month, Eamonn and Katie, 43, appeared stony-faced as they watched his beloved Manchester United from a VIP box at the club’s Old Trafford stadium.

Eamonn was seen looking at his phone while his lover – dressed up to the nines – looked distinctly unamused.

Shortly before that, the pair were pictured together in Belfast in an outing described by a friend as ‘decidedly frosty’.

Part of the problem is logistics: after leaving the marital home in Surrey, Eamonn now rents a flat in Kingston, south-west London, and Katie spends most of the week in her native Yorkshire, where her teenage children with ex-husband George Alexander are based.

Perhaps tellingly, Eamonn recently decided against buying a new property for the pair to share.

Nor does it help that tensions surround his work. Health problems have seen him take several enforced breaks from his daily GB News show, while there was an excruciatingly embarrassing incident earlier this year when he fell off his chair live on air, prompting chaos behind the scenes.

Eamonn, who is still negotiating his divorce from Ruth, has also faced the heartbreak of a row with the couple’s son, Jack, who is embarking on his own television career.

Father and son had always been close – but Jack has sided with his mother over the split, and even Eamonn’s three older children from his previous marriage remain close to Ruth.

His relationship with Katie is said to have ‘gone down like a lead balloon’ with his family.

Claims that the pair exchanged flirty messages online when they first met more than a decade ago have aggravated the relationship, along with reports suggesting Ruth found Eamonn had been showering Katie – who is 22 years his junior – with gifts before they broke up in May last year.

However, both Katie and Eamonn insist nothing went on between them until both of their marriages had ended.

And while to their fans Ruth and Eamonn’s split came as a shock, rumours that all wasn’t well had been swirling for quite some time in showbusiness circles.

Often compared to Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, the couple were one of the country’s most-loved, hosting the Friday slot on ITV’s This Morning as well as providing holiday cover for former presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. They also had their own Channel 5 show called Eamonn And Ruth: How The Other Half Lives.

But their marriage began to break down in recent years, with Eamonn’s health and his bitter departure from ITV in 2021 – which he regarded as a ‘sly’ move by executives at the time – thought to be contributing factors.

Now, Eamonn is waiting for his divorce to come through, as well as money from the £3.6million marital home in Weybridge.

Those who know him suggest that the moment his share of the house is paid will prove ‘significant’ for him and Katie..

‘That will be when Eamonn shows Katie if he is ready to put his money where his mouth is and settle down with her for good, or not,’ a source says. ‘Many people’s money is on the latter.’

Either way, for now the couple are putting on a determined public face. Last night, they were due to attend a London Fashion Week gala at the striking Troxy venue in east London, with Eamonn set to receive a lifetime achievement gong for his charitable work. It was to be presented to him at his table as his mobility issues would prevent him from going on stage.

Sources tell me that despite their problems, there is no doubt that Katie is going to be there. Quite how long she will stay by Eamonn’s side, however, remains to be seen.

As one friend said recently: ‘A few people have long said he’s looking a bit of an old fool over this – now it seems as though he’s starting to feel it.’

IT’S A TOTAL FIX!’ Strictly Come Dancing star Lewis Cope sparks ‘FIX ROW’ as his past dance experience is REVEALED during launch show

Strictly Come Dancing’s Lewis Cope has sparked a ‘fix row’ after his extensive dance background was revealed during the launch show on Saturday evening.

The Emmerdale actor, 30, is currently the favourite to lift the Glitterball trophy, with bookies placing him at 3/1. Hot on his heels is former Love Island star Dani Dyer, 29, at 4/1.

But while viewers eagerly awaited the celebrity-pro pairings, Lewis’s professional dance past came to light, sparking fury amongst fans.

It turns out his talents stretch far beyond the small screen, as the soap star is also a trained dancer.

During a pre-recorded segment on the BBC show, Lewis confessed he had been dancing since the age of 10 – even landing a role in Billy Elliot in London’s West End.

He shared: ‘When I was 11, I was in Billy Elliot in the West End, which was quite relevant to my life. So my brothers were boxing and I was dancing.’

Several viewers then flocked to X, formerly Twitter, claiming he will likely win the show because of his past dance experience.

One wrote: ‘I need Lewis to stop pretending he’s not a trained dancer.; ‘Another Billy Elliot ex-pro dancer. tut tut’

‘Just give lewis the trophy now. He looks the part without seeing him move.’

‘Lewis is such a natural mover. His theatre experience will really help him as well. He’s definitely making that final I can feel it.’

‘How will Lewis Cope on the dancefloor? I reckon he’ll be just fine.’; ‘The way lewis is blatantly gonna win is p****ng me off.’; ‘So Lewis is a dancer.’

Lewis previously spent eight years with the elite street dance crew Ruff Diamond, who were runners-up on Sky TV’s Got to Dance.

At just 18, he performed in front of judges Ashley Banjo, Kimberly Wyatt and Aston Merrygold.

Ruff Diamond also appeared on Children in Need, danced alongside the EastEnders cast, and was crowned UK Hip Hop Champions twice.

Lewis left Ruff Diamond in 2015, aged 20, to study acting at the prestigious Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

He joined the cast of Emmerdale in 2022, playing Nicky Miligan, and bid farewell to the Dales in July 2024 when his character left the village with his boyfriend, Suni Sharma.

EXCLUSIVE Christine McGuinness, 37, feeling ‘OVERWHELMED AND SCARED’ after revealing secret health battle that makes everyday life for her ‘challenging’

Christine McGuinness is reportedly ‘overwhelmed’ and feeling ‘scared’ after sharing her secret health battle with fans.

The model, 37, recently revealed she was diagnosed with Raynaud’s syndrome by doctors after noticing issues with her hands, including them even seizing up.

The condition, which affects 10-15% of people in the UK, causes reduced blood flow to the body’s extremities – usually the fingers and toes.

Sharing an insight into her struggle of living with the condition, Christine told Femail how becoming stressed would leave her fingers white, numb and motionless.

Now it’s been reported by sources close to the former Real Housewives Of Cheshire star that her diagnosis has left her feeling ‘scared’.

An insider said: ‘Christine is a massive overthinker, so when it comes to her health, she does get really stressed – this health scare was the last thing she needed recently.’

The model, 37, recently revealed she was diagnosed with Raynaud’s syndrome by doctors after noticing issues with her hands, including them even seizing up

They continued to The Mirror: ‘Christine was really worried when she first started having these symptoms and seizing up.

‘Immediately her mind went to the worst case and thinking it could have been something far worse than it is. Luckily, Raynaud’s isn’t too serious and she will be OK, but it’s still not nice for her.’

Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Christine for comment.

Speaking about the condition this week, Christine said: ‘When it happens, sometimes I have no choice but to stop what I’m doing until my hands recover, which can be very challenging when I’m trying to balance work commitments and family life.’

The mum-of-three continued: ‘Sometimes I feel embarrassed or disappointed in myself, as if I’ve caused it by not managing my stress or self-care well enough.

‘The hardest part is that they can stop me in my tracks until the symptoms settle, which leaves me feeling like I’ve let myself down.’

Raynaud’s is typically triggered by a drop in temperature, and the effects are usually mild. In rarer cases, it is caused by underlying health conditions. Christine falls into the latter camp.

‘My doctor explained in my case, Raynaud’s was linked to long-term stress, anxiety, panic disorder, and possibly PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder),’ she said. ‘My symptoms only show up during stressful situations.’

Studies have shown that chronic stress response associated with PTSD can contribute to the development or exacerbation of Raynaud’s.

‘That came as a real shock,’ Christine added. ‘I had heard of Raynaud’s before, but only in relation to people who experienced symptoms from the cold… I hadn’t realised just how much stress could impact my body.

‘It was as if all the strain my nervous system had been carrying finally spilled over into something I couldn’t ignore. I do feel that I may have elements of PTSD, though I can’t attribute it to just one cause.’

The diagnosis, she said, ‘has been a wake-up call to take better care of myself’.

She said on Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating: ‘The trust was broken… so it was me that said enough is enough.

Scandal hit Strictly RETURNS: Thomas Skinner’s dance partner is revealed as Amy Dowden as the Apprentice star hits the floor for the first time amid cheating scandal

Strictly Come Dancing returned last night with all eyes on love rat Thomas Skinner as it was revealed he had been partnered with one of the nation’s sweethearts, Amy Dowden.

The Apprentice star, who stormed out of the series’ first press event, has found himself at the centre of headlines after admitting to cheating on his wife just weeks after their wedding in May 2022. Claiming the ‘two week fling’ was a ‘moment of madness’.

Now in what insiders say is a sign BBC bosses are keen for him to win, Saturday’s glitzy launch saw him paired with professional dancer Amy who makes her return to the dancefloor following her battle with breast cancer.

A friend of Skinner’s told The Mail on Sunday: ‘He is terrified, absolutely terrified of dancing. He had no idea how good or bad he might be.

‘But he has also now got one of the best high-profile pros. It’s a huge sign that the BBC are behind him.’

Welsh dancer Amy, 35, was partnered with JB Gill during last year’s series, however  had to withdraw from the competition due to injury.

Meanwhile, on last night’s show Skinner, 34, gave a shoutout to his three children and wife in his introduction video as he revealed they will be watching every week at home.

Speaking to Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman he admitted he feels like the ‘underdog’ of the competition: ‘I am buzzing to be here, what an opportunity.

The mum-of-three told the Daily Mail: ‘She said it would be one of two professionals, and she was spot on.’

YouTube star Georke Clarke has been partnered by this year’s new professional dancer Alexis Warr.

George has built up a huge following on TikTok with an impressive 152million fans and has 679 thousand on Instagram and will be hoping they all support him by casting their votes.

After competing in last year’s Christmas special episode, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey is back to see how far he can go in the full thing and the Gladiator star is partnered with Karen Hauer.

The athlete was the first celeb to be unveiled for this year’s series as he said: ‘After the Christmas Special, it was so nice I just had to do it twice! I’m so excited to be part of the Strictly family this series and I’m ready to give it all I’ve got.

‘I’ll be bringing tons of energy to light up the dance floor. Let’s hope I’m as quick picking up the routines as I am on the track.’

Lastly former footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will take to the floor with Lauren Oakley.

The gruelling BBC competition has faced scandal after scandal in recent years and this year’s series has been no different.

Thomas has found himself at the centre of headlines this week after admitting to cheating on his wife just weeks after their wedding in May 2022. Claiming the ‘two week fling’ was a ‘moment of madness’.

However ‘secret mistress’ Amy-Lucy O’Rourke later suggested in an interview with the Daily Mail that their secret relationship lasted three months, during which time he said he was in love with her and unhappy with his wife.

While Thomas’s ‘secret mistress’ has vowed to expose even more about their affair, the star addressed his 700,000 followers on Thursday, in which he referenced the ‘dark shadows’ of life.

Alongside a selfie, he penned: ‘Good Morning You Lovely People!!’.

Thomas continued: ‘Nice early start in the gym finishing up my work out and looking forward to another day of dancing with my wonderful Strictly partner.

‘Remeber [sic]….Never give up, because one day you will look back and be glad you didn’t!

‘Now go smash it! You are ten times stronger than you can ever imagine.

‘Make today your day!! Keep your face pointing to the sunshine and the dark shadows will always fall behind you! Bosh.’

Mere hours earlier, Amy-Lucy had insisted she wasn’t a ‘homewrecker’ after being targeted by trolls.

Meanwhile on her own Instagram Stories on Monday, the aesthetician said: ‘I just wanted to come on and say thank you to everyone for sending me really nice messages.’

‘Obviously I’ve had a few trolls, but their opinions are clearly not important, because the masses can see through his lies.’

Thomas shocked journalists earlier this month when he grabbed a female reporter's phone before storming out of the room during an interview, he later took to Instagram to apologise

Thomas shocked journalists earlier this month when he grabbed a female reporter’s phone before storming out of the room during an interview, he later took to Instagram to apologise

Amy-Lucy went on to insist that she hasn’t revealed the affair for money or for 15 minutes of fame but instead to make clear how badly she feels she has been treated.

‘No-one knows the full story, the story’s massive the story is insane. I’ve had to give recipes I’ve had to show text messages, phone calls, voice notes, CCTV. There’s message with me saying “I cant believe you’ve done this to me”  I’ve proved it.’

Before adding: ‘It’s not about money it’s about speaking my truth and about what Thomas put me though.’

Meanwhile Thomas shocked journalists earlier this month when he grabbed a female reporter’s phone before storming out of the room during an interview.

Despite mounting pressure to axe him from the line-up, the BBC have stood by Thomas and he addressed the scandal himself in a statement apologising to the journalist.

He shared: ‘To set the record straight off the back of yesterday, during one of the interviews, a journalist placed their phone on the table to record the conversation.

‘I happened to catch a glimpse of the screen and saw numerous messages – not about Strictly, but about a personal story from my past.’

Revealing he felt triggered by the tales of his past, he continued: ‘I’ve been through some difficult times in my life, which I’ve worked hard to move on from.

‘In that moment, seeing it there caught me off guard. I felt it was best to step away and gather myself.’

Thomas continued: ‘This had nothing to do with the interviews or Strictly itself.

‘I’m sorry I picked up someone else’s phone and I don’t even know if the journalist realised their messages were visible, and I don’t want to suggest any bad intentions on their part.

‘What I do want to say is how excited I am to be part of Strictly this year. I’m so grateful for all the love, kindness and support I’ve been shown so far.

‘It means the world to me, and I can’t wait to give it my all on that dancefloor. Bosh.’

Myleene Klass snaps at Loose Women co-star Coleen Nolan in awkward on-air spat

Loose Women stars Myleene Klass and Coleen Nolan were in embroiled in an awkward on-air spat

Loose Women took an awkward turn after panellist Myleene Klass snapped at her co-star Coleen Nolan during a heated debate on the ITV talk show. Tensions boiled over as the hosts discussed Britain’s ambassador to Washington, Peter Mandelson, who confessed to carrying on his friendship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein “for far longer than he should have.” As they opened up about the topic, Coleen instantly shared her displeasure and said she was “bored” with constant stories about scandals involving people in power.

The Nolan star explained: “I think it’s really depressing, I have lost faith in all of them. I can’t believe a word any of them say.” Which prompted Myleen to abruptly interject: “That’s terrible though.” Taken aback by her opinion, a shocked Coleen simply said: “Oh, oh alright.” After rolling her eyes, the 60-year-old added: “It was just my opinion.” Clarifying her sentiments, Myleene said: “No, no, your opinion is correct, but the feeling you described is really worrying.” To which Coleen then sarcastically quipped: “Thanks.”

Tensions rose between Coleen Nolan and Myleene Klass (Image: ITV )

Their debate came after a US congressional committee released files revealing Mandelson’s friendship with Epstein.

The ambassador was among those who featured in a 50th birthday book for Epstein, created in 2003, just three years before allegations of sexual abuse of minors by Epstein became public.

The book was compiled by the late financier’s ex-girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently in prison for her role in recruiting and trafficking minors for sex.

Alongside an image of Mandelson wearing just a robe, seated across the disgraced financier, he penned the message: “Wherever he is in the world, he remains my best pal.”

Many have called for the ambassador’s resignation, which hints at yet another politician shake-up under the Labour government. However, the Prime Minister has defended Mandelson and praised him as a “key part” in strengthening UK-US relations under President Donald Trump.

While many anticipate a shake-up within the government, ITV confirmed major cuts to many of its shows, including Loose Women, which will no longer run for 52 weeks of the year and instead be on screen for just 30, in a dramatic bid to cut costs.

Other shows have also been affected by the change, including Good Morning Britain, which will now run for an extra half an hour, while Lorraine will be reduced from one hour to 30 minutes.

Like Loose Women, Lorraine will now air for just 30 weeks a year. and when it is not on, it will be replaced by an even longer edition of Good Morning Britain, which will run from 6 am to 10 am.

Coleen, who has been on the show since 2000, is said to be “devastated” by the major overhaul and “fighting for her job.”

According to a source: “Coleen is particularly upset about the whole thing and feels shocked and blindsided. She’s lost her sister recently, and it’s been a very tough year – so this is even more devastating news.

“She’s worried about her work going forward as someone who has always really relied on Loose Women, it’s her main income so it’s a big blow.”

UNBELIEVABLE: The Chase’s Anne Hegerty makes INTERESTING CONDITIONS to join I’m A Celebrity All Stars

Anne Hegerty nói về Tôi là người nổi tiếng

ITV’s Anne Hegerty has revealed she would return to I’m A Celebrity… South Africa under one specific condition.

The television quiz expert has remained a central presence on the ITV programme The Chase since 2010, establishing herself as one of the longest serving Chasers.

Recognised as The Governess, she also features on the Australian edition of the programme.

However, Anne’s television appearances have extended beyond quiz programmes, with notable contributions elsewhere on ITV.

Chaser, Anne “Cô gia sư” Hegerty

In 2018, the 67 year old established herself as a fan favourite during her stint on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Despite early difficulties in the jungle environment, she emerged as the fifth contestant to depart the programme, earning widespread support from viewers.

Now, Anne has revealed her stance regarding potential future reality television participation. Speaking exclusively to Reach, Anne declared: “I’ve kind of done the biggest one there is and I can’t dance, I just absolutely cannot dance.

“I’ve said that I would do I’m a Celebrity All Stars only if John Barrowman does it as well. I love John Barrowman, he’s a great friend and I want him back on TV.”

The celebrity edition of I’m A Celebrity, titled I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, reunites some of the most unforgettable contestants from earlier series as they return to the legendary camp to face themselves against fresh trials and challenges in the South African bush.

This month ITV announced the second series of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa is scheduled to broadcast in 2026 after its tremendous popularity in 2023.

A statement from ITV confirmed: “Campmates have already proved that they can survive the Australian jungle, but this is I’m A Celebrity… on a whole new level, it’s where legends are made. The trials are tougher than ever and with that, so are the stakes.

“With relentless twists and turns, the campmates will never know what’s coming next. They will be faced with challenges at every turn, quickly learning that with big decisions come even bigger consequences.”

    Anne Hegerty

Throughout her jungle stint, Anne was witnessed discussing her autism openly as she became emotional, confessing she might struggle to cope with remaining in the camp.

Nevertheless, her fellow contestants gathered round to provide encouragement whilst viewers also flocked to social media to commend the celebrity.

At the National Diversity Awards in Liverpool on Friday (September 19), she spoke candidly about her autism, revealing: “Being in the limelight is fine, being at something like this is fine as long as people actually want to talk to me I’m not just stumbling around looking baffled.”
